Yota fan here also in Star. I own the holy grail truck 85 efi solid axle x-cab SR5 fully loaded and another 85 parts truck. 89 first gen runner. Both have had extensive work done by me.
Did you have any fitment issues with the torque rod hitting the swaybar? I took off my sway bar because I was waiting on the bushings to come in and installed the torque rod and went to install the sway bar and now there is not enough clearance between the two! 1982 by the way.
Any issues while hitting the brakes? I kept the toque rod and kept the sway bar off. Thanks for the response🤟🏻 newest issue the shackle on the rear leaf spring wants to invert to the front of the truck instead of toward the back, what did you do to remedy that?
We have no issues hitting the brakes, we did the opposite of you and left the sway bar on and ditched the torque rod. It's a shame their instructions lack so much information.

I didnt see in the video on how you installed the front brake line extension brackets, was wondering on how you did them? Love the video though!!
I used the original brackets to mount a longer brake hose I believe and then routed the hose so that they didn't rub the tire. Thanks for watching!

We did not end up reinstalling the torque rod. It didn't come close to being the right geometry after the lift.
