      It's about $250 per cam if not replacing the cam itself. $300ish if you need the cam on top of that. I think it was $12 per rocker, $7 per lash adjuster and $80ish in gaskets.

    • @theguyjt7921
      @theguyjt7921 17 днів тому

      Don't take the cam gear off and it's much quicker. You can buy the tool to release the timing chain, loosen the cam caps and slide everything out by turning the engine. Can also be done just prying slightly on the cam, the front two are the only difficult ones using this method.

    I have a similar issue. I bought some power seats from a lincoln. Whoever removed them just took side cutters to the harness and its a mess. Question is is it ok to just wire direct to the fatter more prominent red and black wires and would it be smart to limit the power source to 12 or 18 off the drill battery. I have a 40v one is that too much voltage? Will it fry something? Thanks

    • @hoodratsgarage77
      @hoodratsgarage77 24 дні тому

      40 is waaaaaaay to much! 18 volts is pretty high as well (I think short term it wouldn't be an issue but attempt at your own risk.) You'll need to identify the correct wires via a diagram and connect jumper leads from the battery terminals to the power and ground wires on the seat harness side. Good luck

    Please consider making your videos smoother and slower. The rapid, jerky camera movement, the sudden changes in focus and in focal length, contribute to a discomforting presentation. Consider also getting professional assistance in your camera work and in editing before you present your project. I'm genuinely interested in your project but the amateur camerawork makes it difficult to follow. Thanks, and GLWTP.
