I would like to see a longer video on these adjustments to the EJK , in regards to the Switch points , what they do . And go a little slower .

The EJK comes preprogrammed for Stage 1 modifications so the settings right out of the box will work well for a large # of combinations of intake and exhaust upgrades. You can find these recommended settings on our website www.electronicjetkit.com. Locate your vehicle under products and click view info; the settings will be on that page.
If you want to dial in your bike and know exactly how it is running, I recommend renting or purchasing our SAFR Diagnostic Tool. It is a Standalone Air/Fuel Ratio (SAFR) gauge that provides you a real-time readout of your AFR values. Adjust your fuel controller until you see the proper AFR values on the gauge. I was doing some adjustment on my controller for my 106 ci Victory. I had been running with the blue green setting off. Which I had the bike running fine . I noticed on the chart 3.5 was the suggested setting which I tried. I wanted to try a lower green setting but the idle would drop a little low and the rpm would rise and fall even on my previous setting which gave a perfect idle at 1000 rpm. Put the blue green back to zero and idles fine again. Why would you want a delay on your idle fuel?Just a heads up for anyone who has idle or low speed surging issue
When will the safrtool be available again? Bluetooth mod should not stop availability.
i installed one on my 15 chieftain and it is awesome!! the gen 3 more mpg,throttle response better, and sounds better with my rhinehart pipes. money well spent . pulls like a freight train!

seems simple enough to set up, but how do you find the correct settings to suit the bike?

Incorrect information
This video could be better by indicated what the expected changes in performance would be by increasing or decreasing any one of the settings.
It’s just adding more fuel at different points on your throttle, chiefly for if your bike runs lean from exhaust or intake mods.

You told us what green, yellow, and red meant. What about green/blue, yellow/blue, and red/blue?
He showed a video of false information. Read the top comment I left. I can explain it much easier. The zoning is only when you see green/blue org/blue and rd/blue. The single flashing is the amount of actual fuel your adding in the color format. Green idle and light accel. Orange is cruising and harder acceleration.. red is wot. Also if it's solid color at let's say 3. It's 3k rpm. Then let's say blinking 3. It's 2500 rpm. 1 would be 1k rpm. Flashing 2 is 1500 rpm. It's all in increments of 500 rpm per adjustment
Green - Cruise Feul
Yellow - Accel. Feul
Red - Full throttle Feul
Green/Blue - Idle Switch PT
Yellow/Blue - Accel. Switch PT
Red/Blue - Full throttle switch PT

When you order it, you tell em what kind of bike you got, And they program it for that bike. I got one for my Wideglide, Not much difference from dynojet commander 3 That I Had On it,, But,,

I have a full stainless exhaust on my 2017,Msx125 Grom with Airbox mods also.Would one of thses EJK Fuel Controllers be of benfit to myself ? Thanks for your help.
BUT... What does the different impact the performance? I don't want to be playing with lights too old for that...
Does the manual that comes with it explain how you want this set up for what you have? Like let's say I buy it because I get a full yoshimura r77 exhaust, will it tell me what I want each light set at? And then if I later add on like a k&n filter it will explain what settings it will need then?
Is it normal for the lights to flash green and red after attempting to start the bike? And is there a troubleshoot function to ensure it is working properly?

I understood how to set the value but not to get it to the particular zone (i.e. green zone). It looked like you pushed the mode button a bunch of times but how many?
Just keep pushing it until you get to the setting you are looking for, it will go through all of them
can someone please explain what an EJK controller does, i have heard so much about it but dont get it?
Mr Mario Sanchezo w/lettuce It's pretty much a manual fuel controller that lets you control your fuel on an fuel injected motor like you would as if it was carbureted. It skips the need for having to use a computer or downloading a fuel map.

so does it SAVE fuel or do i need more after installing one because its set up to more sport/power riding
It is a "fooler" for the injectors and bypasses the O2 sensors. There are way better products out there. My bike ran better when I took it off.

So whats the sequence to press the mode button to get to the three settings to adjust them?? He pressed like 8 times and i have no clue
They can be touchy, 1 push brings you to the next setting but if it should jump past one you will have to rifle threw all settings till you get back to where you want. Or just wait a couple of seconds till it resets back to the beginning.

Yeah but what do the numbers mean... why would.u set something to 4 instead 6 etc etc... ?
They just men a higher amount of fuel. if you were running lean you would go to a higher number. Basically you go by feel of how the bike runs.
What setting adds fuel to idle? My header pipe glows slightly after 1min. Then after it warms up it stops glowing.
I think they're crap. Hundreds of settings with scope to fuk your bike up

Hey man, I have a very similar bike, the KLX 250. It has been modified to 350 cc and has the ejk. It all runs fine etc however there is one issue, which is when you go from zero throttle to turning the throttle on, it seems to abruptly jerk into action, the same as when you fully come off the throttle it seems to Jerk off. What I mean is that from on and off with the throttle is not very smooth it jerks on and off, which is fine if you are hammering the bike and going at high speeds and high revs and riding hard. But if doing slower technical stuff either in the city or on the trails and tight trails and stuff, this throttle response is rather annoying and also unstable especially when coming on or off the throttle in corners. Do you know of any tuning settings or way to smooth this out? Thanksss
I bought a used (30hrs) KTM 300 with one of these tuners and it has the same problem - the bottom 1/8 throttle is burbly, then it comes on hard, making it difficult for the slow, technical stuff. It also seems to use alot of fuel, and this was confirmed on a ride the other day when I ran out completely when I should have had lots - my friend still had 1/2 a tank. So I am trying to figure out how to either set this tuner to stock settings or remove it completely to see if that is the problem.
So an update here: I removed the tuner from my bike and... now it works!! The bottom end sputter is gone, the power is smooth and awesome and I have my fuel economy back. Now, I'm not knocking the tuner, maybe it just wasn't setup right. Anyone considering buying one, I would say this might be for you if you are willing to put the time in and play with it. If you just want to go ride I wouldn't get it.

@@deanteasdale6252 Sorry, I am unfamiliar with the subject you are asking me, although I have heard of such items.
You did the second half wrong. First 3 green orange and red all represent the amount of fuel. They blink one color at a time.. the changing of zones will have a flashing blue light on the far right side and 1 of the 3 colors on the left. So after adjusting the first 3 modes (green.orange and red) you push mode a 4th time to activate the green zone. Then 5th time will show orange and blue. 6th is red and blue. Those are your zoning adjustments.. What you did was just go right back to fueling thinking you where making adjustments to the zoning. Watch the video. I know. I have one.

I am running into an issue, that everytime i make an adjustment, it' not saved. Next time I start up the bike the settings I adjusted are gone. What can I do about this?
Take it off and buy an FP3. This is nothing but a "fooler" for the injectors. One came installed on a '16 FLTRXS that I bought. Constant O2 fault codes set (that this thing bypasses) and an annoying engine miss. The bike ran better when I took it off. The FP3 is a far superior product.

The first 3 modes are easy enough. Green, Yellow, Red. The next two with Green/Blue, Yellow/Blue, Red/Blue seem not as straight forward. Hard to tell what's what. Would be nice if you guys had show the complete run through, not just the first 3 modes. Guess I'll keep playing with it. Overall, great tool.
Old post but a bit of explanation. The b/gr, b/yel and b/rd are for the switch points, or for when you want that fuel to come on, The big difference is the higher the number the later that fuel turns on. So a 3 will come on sooner than a 6.. These are harder to adjust due to a distinct feel and much more trial and error. You pretty much have to adjust up, Go 2 full settings, until the bike does not pull hard then go back the other way to where it pulls the strongest. I find the b/ red to be the hardest. If you got an uneven idle or too low, set the b/gr to as low as it will go so that system is basically always on.

Hi Dobeck,
i recently bought this fuel controller and am having an issue with it. i set the settings to what i would like but next time i start the bike it has reset to another setting. seems to not be saving my adjustments, so i am having to set it every time i go for a ride. could you give some advice as to what to do? is this a common problem?
I just installed mine yesterday and I have the same issue when I checked it today. I hope this ain't a glitch with them. I have had 2 other bikes with controllers and never had this issue.
340rps I did some searching online in the forums, seems like this is either a fairly recent problem with the tuner or we were just the unlucky few that got a bad unit, as I couldn’t find anyone else with this issue. I will be shipping it back soon and will update on turnaround time for warranty and if the problem persists.
@@speedyhoneybear Did you give Dobeck a call? They will work with you. Was setting mine today and when I checked it first thing the settings were fine. I'm thinking I just may have hit the wrong button and changed the setting unknowingly. I still will be keeping an eye on it. I'll tell you this, what a difference in performance of the bike all the way around. With the mods I have it was running way lean as the S&S air intake sucks a ton of air. I don't think the previous owner even had a re-map done.
