Just ordered 🎉 Thanks for the great review! I own the Fuji pancake 27mm and love it’s portability but dislike that it really only excels in daylight. I’m excited to use this for low-light captures, street photography and a lightweight travel option on my X-T4.
First time viewer, only 3 mins in i subscribed because you have a sense of rationality when it comes to lens pricing and the camera body someone might be using it with. I have seen other youtubers preaching 2000 dollar lenses which are 10% better than 200 dollar lenses, all that while they use a camera body thats worth 2000-4000 dollar.
Yeah it’s funny. When we talk about hot spots and all that, most photographers don’t know what we are talking about. But if you’re an IR photographer you know exactly what I’m talking about. I’ve been integrating IR compatibility into my Fuji reviews recently because if I don’t talk about it, likely nobody else will.
Are you planning on buying the TT Artisan 35mm f/1.8? Did you already order one? Tell me about it in the comments.
It's 136€ ATI in EU worth a try
@@Thraxounet definitely!

It’s decent in low light. Headlights from cars shining right into though are pretty bad. It does to well in more controlled low light.

thanks! I try to think about who would be using it.
Agreed
Great video, thanks Kevin. Been looking for a cheap, af walkabout for street and architecture - I think I've found it! Subbed👍
Thanks for the sub! It’s a cool lens. Enjoy!
Love that you included infrared compatibility. That is greatly appreciated by someone like me that shoots infrared on Fuji

It’s way cheaper than other 35mm prime lenses for Sony. I’d get it.
Yes, they make this for Sony as well. So you have that option.

not having an aperture really sucks tho, as a fuji user
aperture ring*
Yes. But that would probably add $50. There is enough room for one though. I just assign it to my rear dial.
