My RC2 updated to the 1.13.5 version right when I turned the controller on today and worked fine. I went to DJI to download it for a backup file and it was still advertising 1.13.4, but when I started the download anyway, it downloaded the .5 version. I guess they are just slow to update the text on the website, but the latest .5 version is there. Thanks for the informative video!

I just received an Air 3 and did the firmware updates. It would not update the Fly app to .4. I followed your video, and that helped me get the update.

Thank you for the heads up on App Version 1.13.5 update.
I was able to update it through the white profile page on my RC2 under settings and then About.
I did have problems with 1.13.4 but when I put in a fully charged battery I was able to find and install that earlier 1.13.4 update.
I had been attempting to find and install that 1.13.4 update while using a battery with about 40% charge a DJI recommended using a battery with at least 50% charge remaining. I think that the drone and controller recognized the undercharged 40% battery and would not allow the update attempt for 1.13.4
I will definitely pay attention to this for future updates.

Funny that you can get the update to 1.13.5, whereas mine resolutely says mine is up to date at 1.13.4 Having great fun with FCC and my Air2S with a Gagi antenna. This is how it should be. Just have to get sorted with getting the Mini4pro connected to the RC2. Sometimes it does and other times it just says the drone is connected to another controller. Switch off and restart. Best Dave
Just switched it off and it now says download. But then still says "Your firmware is up date"

@@nobby-green In Settings the Check for updates had a red dot beside the V1.13.5 even though the slider was set for Auto. Best Dave

Nobby, Can you take a look at offline maps? My experience is it's pretty much unusable. When selecting an area, I'm getting a much more zoomed in map downloaded. What's your experience if you're willing to give it a try?
You have to zoom in until you get the rectangle. That is the area that will be downloaded. Hope that helps 👍
@@nobby-green I’m aware of that Nobby. My issue/point is that what you get, at least in my experience, is a zoomed in version of that guide (the area selected). I’ll ask DJI or see if it’s up on the forum.
I fly Mini 4 pro+RC N2+iPhone8+ :) and Galaxy Tab9, iPad 9th gen.
My new DJI Fly version is 1.13.5. Drone software 01.00.0500.
When taking a hyperlapse, the program hangs after taking one photo and then the image becomes black and white.
Does mini4pro with RC2 have the same problem?
I have no problems with Hyperlapse on mini3pro with RC N1 :)
Yes I believe there’s a bug for hyperlaspe with the latest update. Seen it on a few forums. I guess DJI will release another one soon 👍 I will be testing this thanks for letting me know
Anyone else found that following this new upgrade the "go-home" landing accuracy is now about 3-5m out?
Not noticed any difference when I’ve tried it. There are certain criteria to get the precision landing to work correctly 👍

Sounds to me like you may have a faulty controller. Speak with @DJI should be under warranty 👍
My mini 3 pro with the RC-N1 won't go more than 700 to 1000 feet and I'm flying in my neighborhood that I usually can get 3500+ feet easy. Do you have any idea why this is happening
I even lost signal atv550 feet away with clear line of sight. The controller turned red with warnings about disconnecting from remote. I'm afraid to fly..
Could be a number of reasons. Interference is probably the main culprit. Try a different location for a start. 👍
If you reset the controller it will find the update.

@@omkarajetrao105 swipe down twice from main screen tap cog wheel then system then reset options. Then tap clear all data factory reset. You will need to set up WiFi afterwards and sign back in. 👍
I updated my RC2 to 1.13.5 and now my maximum altitude is capped at 120m, any idea why this is and can't change it?, I live in Northern Ireland and the first time I tried the updates I was in the republic of Ireland, not sure what's going on here, please share any information you might have?
Wonder if Ireland is still classed as being part of the EU? If it is that’s probably why as the restrictions apply to them. Still 500m here in the uk at the moment hope that helps 👍
@@nobby-green Northern Ireland (where I live) is part of the UK, republic of Ireland is still in the EU, but before the update I never had this issue, is it possible to put a previous version back on my RC2, maybe 1.13.4?

@@thetruckingphotographer148 it’s very odd as these restrictions came out a few updates ago. Unfortunately you can’t roll back firmware on the RC controllers. Be interesting to see if it works over here
@@nobby-green I'll try it at home on Friday and see if I can go above 120m there, if I can it must be the fact that ROI is in the EU and northern Ireland is part of the UK, I'll update on here
@@nobby-green update as promised, i just tried my drone in Northern Ireland (part of the uk) and i could exceed 120m, must be to do with being in ROI which is still in the EU, this is annoying as most of my work is in the ROI
