I think that says more about Shane Gillis than it does about politics or liberal audiences vs conservative or whatever. It’s about Shane’s ability to bring an entire audience onto his side with empathy immediately, despite anybody’s preconceived notions about who he is or what he believes in. His next line, “Fox News mom? Ehhhhh…” doubles down on empathy. He’s giving them something, dipping his toe in their pool before bringing them back over to him. He’s an absolutely brilliant comedian I just wish he had better friends who would confront him about his drinking.
The biggest compliment possible for every comedian.
Louis CK loving what you do.
Shane is a dumbed down, yet weirdly genius version of Norm Macdonald, and I’m here for it.
Shane, Mark Normand, Theo Von, and Fin Taylor, all remind me of Norm in some small way, and that gives me hope 😄
Liberals being amazed that conservatives are humans and can be funny goes a long way to showing the liberal mindset in general.
A men to that!
Most people fall somewhere in the middle. There’s plenty of loons out there that think all liberals are blue haired gays that use weird pronouns, when that isn’t even close to reality.
conservatives are not funny, never have been. only funny to laugh at
what heck are you saying? 😂 stop being so dang sensitive
do you snowflakes ever not cry about problems you invent in your own minds?
Shane always seems like hes never trying to hard to be funny. Hes a gem.
I love to hear Louis talk all the p’s and A’s of comedy
This is awesome because Christina can’t stand Shane. To have to listen to the greatest comic of all time gushing about him must have driven her mad lol.
Seriously? Every time i learn something new about her, i like her less and less. How could you NOT like shane? Only a fake ass weirdo would hate someone like shane, cause hes as real as it gets.
“You want a Fox News dad. What do you want an MSNBC dad? Just at the dinner table like, ‘we need to focus on rEnEwAbLe eNerGy’ ….
-Ew, I didn’t know dad was gay.?!”
They only boo bc it’s what they are told to do and group think is a powerful thing
I adore Louis. He's as much a student of comedy as he is a master. I could listen to him break stuff down like this all day
Shane makes Louise look like amateur hour
Crazy how super blue see normal blue as red
Unless you’re a raving, foaming at the mouth lib like the rest of them…… you’re a nazi.
It's almost like they're radical ideologues or something
And super red sees normal red as blue. Rhino.
@@silencemeviolateme6076I never claimed to be Republican what makes me a rhino. Don’t tread on me.
@@gengar8118 I was giving the term not calling you a rhino, snowflake. Hahahaha almost the weekend again!
Shane really is him bro. His 2021 youtube special had me fuckin crying.
Louie truly is a scientist of comedy
Fathers have perspective; kids don’t.
Shane is like “we are same same, but different.”
Crowd erupts I’m thunderous applause!
I sincerely enjoy watching Louis CK’s analysis of other comedians and seeing his passion in the art of standup is awesome!
one of the best doing it right now
Shane is 10 times funnier than Louis
Hell no lol
Why do people feel the need to pit people against eachother. They're very different comedians. On top of that they're significantly different ages and at different points in their careers. It would be like comparing Mike Tyson to Canelo Alvarez. Sure they both box but comparing them would be dumb. Different styles, different times etc
Genuinely, why do people say Louis is the GOAT standup? I think his show is INCREDIBLE; however, I haven't yet laughed at a joke in any of his hours. No hate, just wondering about the disconnect.
He's so deep and unorthodox which makes him not to everyone's taste.
And maybe you're a young person.
Try Patrice O'Neal, he was as intelligent as CK, and underappreciated as hell.
RIP Patrice and Norm, possibly the two of 5 best ever!
@@Woody13woodpeckerPatrice is dead? I didn’t even know he was sick.
@@DarkMuj nice!!!
Yeah he got a cold and died because he was black
Even the joke where he blows a demon in hell even though it’s technically not part of his damnation?
Shane is probably the funniest comedian out right now. Dude is unbelievable. Not always the most “intelligent” jokes…but incredible delivery.
He's hilarious and a good Ole PA boy.. my entire friend group growing up had and have the same sense of humor.. glad to see one make it
Louis doesn't understand him or the dynamic at all, it's so weird when he says this shit.
Ya dude, did you see how crappy Louie treated him on his show ? Louie is a bitter old washed up comic now. His shit was super funny for years but now he’s gotta make way for the new guys.
Yeah its very awkward how he tries to explain the science of comedy like this. Cringe
This has to be bait lol, he is prasing his shit. In that pod he was treating him like any other comedian. What are you guys on?
@@nmhjjp hes tryig to louie is just out of touch with reality
@@AnotherLameBotidk wtf you and these others are talking about, but louis did a 4 part podcast with Shane and Matt that is incredible, took him on tour, and quite literally did everything you could expect to support Shane.. Louis got cancelled so hard he lost $50 million in deals in one moment, he doesn’t give a fuck and he’s fully supported Shane since the beginning. What more could he do? And what has he ever done that wasn’t supportive?
You can hear so much of Louis in a lot of Shane's timing and inflections. This praise must mean a lot to him
This is the best show I ever saw!
“I’m somewhat of a history guy. I enjoy learning about history, which is a sign of early onset Republican. If you’re a white guy and you like history, it’s coming dude.”- Shane Gillis
F those people that took Louis from us. Wasted years. I hope he makes a full return.
Shane is a great blend of Louis and Norm with his own brand of DAWG
My favorite comedian of all times giving props to my new favorite comedian is next level iconic! Shane is massively funny and relatable. 😂
was lucky to catch him at the stand and Louis is spot on!
Screw Christina P. She think's Louis CK should still be cancelled. Look it up. Im right.
Louis CK looking and sounding like a proud father when talking about Shane
Louis looks like my grandpa when he puts his readers on to check the paper back TV guide to see what time the next western comes on.
I loved seeing him live in Richmond, VA. When he talked about George Washington’s teeth, I couldn’t breathe 😂
Shane might be the funniest man alive rn. That live in (Austin,TX I think) stand up special had me fucking rolling
To get a compliment from the Lou Dawg must feel awesome.
Yeah dude shane gillis is the top comedian right now in my book
When Louie is talking you up your set
Really breakthrough stuff
Where u get that cheese Danny 😂😂
shane is the funniest comic working -
Shane’s the best young comedian we’ve got.
