While these are great, the two biggest updates I'm waiting for are 1) charts and 2) improved integration of native recurring tasks. It's absolutely wild they haven't added these yet. I really hope they introduce these, or at the very least tease again, by the end of the year.
@@becomebrightwithin When you make a recurring task in Notion the template is generated ON the day it's scheduled to recur unlike in Google Calendar where it will already be populated on the days you schedule it to recur. I just want to see my calendar pre-filled out weeks or months prior and in Notion that's not possible unless you manually set the date for every recurring task.
You mean you want a fresh new version of it every day? You need a database and then you can create a template inside by using the dropdown next to the big blue new button Once created, you can set that template to recurring for every day 😇 I recommend checking out my complete tutorial to better understand these principles: ua-cam.com/video/ivQ_9-gn1iI/v-deo.html
Could you please tell how to copy a Notion page to another workspace as a duplicate template? I am in extreme need of it. I saw certain videos in YT to share page by "allow duplicate as a template" but surprisingly this option is not available while publishing or sharing the page.
Yeah the setting has been recently moved You need to go to the share settings in the top right corner and then click on publish Once published, you’ll find the option to turn duplicate as template on and off under site customisation Keep in mind that this process only works to move something as a template between workspaces with different Notion accounts If you use the same Notion account, you can just use the „move to“ option to copy a page to a different workspace
I wouldn’t plan with offline mode any time soon - it’s just not the strategic direction Notion seems to be taking overall Lots of great alternatives out there if offline is a big priority 💪🏻
@@mfreihaendig But i think it is not that hard to develop even if they want to continue with servers they can develop an windows/mac app real app i mean not a web version in better shape so it can work offline and also give better performance generally I don't know why it might even harm them they are losing nothing but winning as example obsidian users that went to it cuz of offline mode only
@@zeyadosman4876 If Notion knew it was "not that hard", but have for years persisted on suffering the endless litter of "offline mode now" comments on every social post they make...it would be incredibly masochistic. Its not going to happen.

Charts should be out soon hopefully! 😍😍
They have a great recurring tasks, what functions are you specifically looking for?

Thanks for this update. I wish I could use a Notion client on my Ubuntu desktops... Do you know if this is in the pipe ?
Haven’t heard of that unfortunately :-/
