Fantastic campsite, this August Bank Holiday will be our 3rd visit but this time with family, who were trying to convert to camping. Thank you for making our previous trips so enjoyable and pleasant, you must be doing something right, we keep coming back 😂😂😂

Hey Lis thank you! We are happy with the organisation and layout of the site which is very different to some sites that are huge fields where you just pick a spot. But because of the slope we had to model the camp site into the terraces and I love the effect ... ah best wishes to Canada I would love to visit some time xx
Lovely campsites and perfect for rest and recovery from stress of daily urban life. It is loads of work for the family, Bambi should be stationed at the front, as concierge to joyfully welcome visitors. Lol. Good luck!

Unfortunately, there are places in the world where they think that the coronavirus has been defeated and they have become very slack and idle in regards to following the laid out protocol. I am afraid that means there are going to be other areas in the world that are going to be into heavy-duty lockdown again.

@@DaleFarm hi joanna yep the weather is stil cold but its not that wet now before we no it.it will be to hot haha .we are all ok here at the moment still in stage 4 and every body wearing face masks they get a little uncomfy after some time on your face but if your out with out one on you can get a find and you have to be home at 8pm to 5am and if your court by the police driveing in these times with out a good reason its a 16.000 dollar fined .eney way hope this all gets better and evey one can start to get back to normal .ok nice to chat to you again hope your all well and every thing is going good at the farm all you lot stay safe and well and we will chat again soon xx
As i look at your video it's interesting to compare to some of the bigger farms that are having a tough time. I think they could learn a lot from you diversification you have so much going on if one thing doesn't make money something else will cover. Low input you have what you need. Your farm is a good example of how to survive bad times. I can't believe all the rock hauled out and made into house and fence my back hurts just looking at it. Take care

Well done on opening the site, really good to see the pitches occupied, the scenery is amazing and I love the name ‘sheep dip’. Have you thought of taking pictures of the incredible scenery and selling the prints in the shop? Good luck for the rest of the holiday season 👍
Thank you, I have a few prints of the animals which I sell on cards ... I did some land scapes as large photographs and they didn’t sell at all which was a real shame xx it’s hard to know what people are looking for. I think the photos were nice and would have done better for sale in an art / photo show or in an outdoors shop type place
makes me so sad i cant camp any more and if i did it wouldnt be the same i would need power and water and wall plug to keep wheel chair charged .......it is so pretty there and knowing there is the ponds to swim in makes it even better good luck on it this year hugsssssss
Hey Tammy, that’s tough you can’t camp. I understand that if you have certain needs then it can be tricky at a camp ground. Our camp site has electric hook ups for people to use the power but I don’t know how it would work with a wheelchair at all. Hope you are okay and your daughter too xxx hugs xx
Hi Joanna Hope things are going well at Dale farms.. I wonder if you have considered stocking your little farm market with commercial items such as sweets, breads/ buns.. crisps, soft drinks, tea.. eggs, milk etc In small amounts for your campers to purchase. Being totally ignorant on the wants of British people while camping. But I’ve done quite a bit in the US and most of the small stores in camping areas in the US do have things like what I mentioned. Most camping areas in America are in close proximity to a body of water such as a lake or a river some sell fishing supplies some rent canoes or kayaks to float on the rivers.. or even tire inner tubes to float in. Just some ideas I thought of to tell you about that we do in America to possibly increase your income.. I have no idea if your campers would even care about things like that but I thought I would tell you some of the things we do..
Hi George that’s a very good idea and absolutely right , we could stock more things for campers ... however we do have a village store 10 mins walk away that sells many of those things so I leave it to them to stock those items! Maybe in the future we could expand! Love the idea of hiring out kayacks etc. Here you need a license to fish there are these things called water bailiff and they patrol for people illegally fishing ! Hehe x
Looks like a good crowd. Hearing the word "pitches" made me think of cricket. Do you have a cricket pitch? Hopefully in another year or two, we will be able to travel as before and the economy will rebound. It seems like a new world these days. I've been riding my new gravel bike. It is so nice to get on the road at dawn and actually feel cool air and get goose bumps.
Hey Joel the bike riding rounds fun!! We have a cricket pitch in the village it’s a community space but the farm doesn’t have its own! Here we use the word pitch or plot to describe the camping area for each individual xx
