I just got Supermodal and it is the best plugin I own for sound design.You don't know what you're doing to use it. The possibilities are truly infinite.There's no complicated menu diving and the GUI is absolutely beautiful. I'm definitely going to let all of my producer friends know about Supermodal. Oh my god... PLEASE make a synthesizer plugin that uses this as the filter and can do so per-voice with polyphonic LFOs! That could be absolutely ridiculous and truly game-changing in the instrument domain.

@@PolyverseMusic well, an ultra-high resolution additive engine with audio-rate envelopes such that it can resynthesize with 100% transparency has been on my wishlist forever.
Then, using AI to intelligently present MIDI-learnable parameter banks (knob/slider banks) the user in an intelligent fashion would be amazing.
I've always thought of additive as basically the theoretical holy grail of synthesis. This fused with AI to "listen" the the source material and come up with sensible ways of controlling banks of partial envelopes to get musically interesting, useful results would be awesome.
Wavetable has been absolutely done to death and bores me, quite honestly. Let's look to the future.

Oh yeah, and this may crush an ordinary CPU, but please look into what GPU Audio are doing and see if you could maybe leverage the GPU to power the bulk of such an additive engine. Something like that coupled with these modal filters could be absolutely insane.
Better yet, calculate everything inside the additive engine, including the filters: you could get theoretically infinite polyphony for "free": at the end of the day, it's all just moving partials around, right?

@@PolyverseMusic appreciate you considering the suggestion. I think there is tons of untapped power here, because nobody has really figured out additive interfaces quite yet.
I bet AI could really help with this: have it dynamically figure out and group parameters to present to the user and let the user go more granular from there and edit what the AI has determined as needed.
