    IMO, Supercharger Rebuilds is the best bang for your buck. They have aftermarket billet and performance impellers for just about anything. For example, they have a D1SC style impeller that will "bolt in" and fit your P1SC with no machining, effectively making it a D1SC for under $500.

    I build gear boxes and its fascinating to find out this is basically all the same, but I'd be so afraid to take mine apart lol

    really great video why you have no comments is beyond me. have you rebuilt these? My D1 took a crap and I seen rebuild kits. i also have to change the impeller. Mine is leaking and the impeller is chewed up. Did you rebuild yours?

      Yes I’ve rebuilt mine, it’s fairly easy to do. I don’t recommend getting an aftermarket impeller though, I went back to stock because I wasn’t getting as good as performance. And thanks!

    Do you know a part number for just the high speed seal? I know the low speed one.

    The cone washer on the front of my impeller was lose when I got it back from ati. I’m sure it’s not supposed to be loose but I’ve try to tighten it with no success .

    If it was this easy, everyone would do it. I promise you all, it's not easy. The tolerances when putting back together, have to be in the thousands. Trust me

    hi anthony , do u have a video of how to put the impeller back on ? thanks mate jim

    • @anthonycuaresma4081
      @anthonycuaresma4081  5 років тому

      In the video it shows, basically just press it on, reverse of what I did to take it off

      @@anthonycuaresma4081 how do i press it back on since the impeller will be facing down and possibly damage impeller also does the shaft have a wider part on the inside so i dont press it to far through ? thanks for ur help anthony

      So I see I don’t show how to press it back on, if you wait a couple days I’m actually swapping back to the sock impeller, (aftermarket was overrated) so if you wait I’ll do a video showing how I do it. If not, basically heat the impeller hot and support the main shaft and press it on, it presses all the way down to a spacer it seats against, (looks like a washer). Can’t go wrong. I will upload a video in 2-3 days I’m sure

    hey there is the pro charger in this video a c2 pro charger ? i just picked up a used one but i need a new impeller. do you still have the poem one and if so do you want to sell it or could you let me know what one you went with

  • @mattcapa2204

    By removing the gearbox lid first you risk damaging the output seal, it’s incredibly easy to over compress it.
    Yiu don’t need to press anything on these units.
    Welding glove left hand, spin impeller whilst heating.. as soon as it spins freely in the shaft simply lift it off.
    I can’t believe how bad this information is!!!

  • @daniellaq6120

    The bearing that went bad do you have the part #

  • @vincentdelucia8078
    @vincentdelucia8078 2 роки тому

    Not that easy. The tolerances have to be dead nuts and only procharger knows the specs.

    • @anthonycuaresma4081
      @anthonycuaresma4081  2 роки тому +2

      Well I rebuilt it myself and it’s still going strong so it must not be that crucial😁

    • @vincentdelucia8078
      @vincentdelucia8078 Рік тому

      Then why didn't you show the install of impeller? How far down do you press impeller in? That's extremely important. That's where the tolerances come in. If it's not set just right, it won't suck in the air right and will not perform at it's max. I'm sure you got yours working, but I would like to see how it's building boost and if it's right

    • @vincentdelucia8078

      Need to set right, so inducer part and exducer work appropriately.

    I'll say this much, taking it apart no big deal. Putting it back together correctly, NOT
