Congrats Man! Done that walk of shame too. That's how my QF009 maiden went. Lost signal and the wind took it. Found mine in a neighborhood street few blocks away lol
Yeah it's been windy here in Philly too! I adjusted the throws to give me the most deflection I can get and I have a slightly larger battery I wanna test with. Thought about cutting into that foam to push the battery forward but haven't committed to doing so! Tough bird for sure! Good idea to wait for a better day! 💯

@@patrickhicks4426 I am really thinking about binding these to the tx16s but I gotta read up on how to change the rates/activate and deactivate gyro. I think the lack of an external antenna hurts these rtf radios
Great video, i have the same jet, im considering getting the j35 as well as this, do both jets have the same power system or is the f35 a more powerful unit do you think ?
@@michaelhoward4402 I think they have the same power system, but the f35 (at least mine) feels more punchy than the j35. The j35 also has two more servos so maybe the extra weight makes a difference
Ah ok, I thought that maybe the case, I will get it anyway because the controller they sent me for the f35 trim fine adjustment isn't working, I assume the j35 transmitter works also for the f35 as well.
@michaelhoward4402 yeah they should work, there are youtubers that binded theirs to radiomaster or jumper transmitters. I'm trying to figure out how to do that because the range on the stock controller is terrible
If you have a dee rc one and not the fly bear it doesn't have the same ports the birds have a different board it seems I saw that on another video, that maybe why you can't bind it, not sure otherwise.

Good fine little jet only thing that stock transmitter does cut out use my 9631 transmitter add zero issues while cutting off then

@ mine does because I cut out foam under canopy shoved battery forward and added a screw to nose

Apparently the fly bear one has two extra ports than the Dee.
