I am so excited to introduce you to the new member of our family! Her name is Honey Bun and she is doing so well in her new forever home! I have wanted to #rescue an adult #dog for quite a while, and it is finally time! I hope you enjoy this #vlog of meeting our new French Bulldog. I will make sure to give more updates about her in the future!

I have two cats that I took from a co-worker who was fostering a litter of kittens.
The fact that the new member looks so much like cookie and I know we all miss her but she will still always be in our hearts, this is so hart warming especially to see that blue and coco love their new sister❤

Chewy gives really good customer service. My friend’s pet died and they wanted to cancel a food order, but, it already shipped … Chewy refunded them, told them not to worry about it, and sent my friend flowers. I’m glad you gave them a shout out!
Every single time I've talked to their customer service they have been INCREDIBLE! Not sponsored, they truly are a wonderful company.
Refunding them is great in itself but sending flowers? I've never heard of a bigger company being that considerate and kind towards their customers. I'm so glad your friend had such a great experience with them during a difficult time of grief. I hope your friend is doing alright ❤

The best decision I’ve ever made was adopting my dog from animal control. She was found as a very timid stray and giving her the best things life has to offer has been such a joy. There are so many celebrations with shelters dogs: the first time they play, the first time they make a friend, their first time at a pet store, etc. I have loved celebrating those victories with my dog and, through fostering dogs, I’ve had the privilege to experience those little moments again and again. Keep celebrating with Honey Bun every step of the way ❤️
I don't know anything about dogs, but I think it would be sooo cute if you baked puppy safe treats for your dogs! Like a blueberry muffin for Blueberry, something coconut based for Coconut, and of course a honey bun for Honey! ❤ Thanks for another amazing video, Ro!

My family dog had been rescued after his family had been killed in a hurricane when he was a puppy. We had him for fourteen years before he was put to sleep last year. I will forever miss him and he will always be in my heart. You are a woman after my own heart when it comes to dogs, Ro! 🐶🐶🐶💝💝💝

I work with a Pomeranian rescue in Texas. We have rescued four Poms (Peach, Maisie, Mochi and Gigi) from them from seniors to puppies and have fostered dozens. We are currently fostering a 3 yr old puppy mill Pom that spent her whole life in a cage, churning out litters until her last litter nearly killed her and the breeder abandoned her. Rescue dogs have the best personalities and I’m so grateful I’ve been blessed with my dogs and with working and volunteering for our rescue. Welcome to the family, Honey!
Oh Rosanna! I’m so so happy you did this video!!! 🥰 Many people don’t know that there are kinds of breeds available for adoption through dog rescue! That it’s not only pitbull mixes available to be adopted, but all breeds can unfortunately find their way to homelessness. And in the coming years we’ll be seeing a whole lot more Frenchies in rescue and shelter environments because that’s what always happens with breeds that rise in popularity like we’re seeing today with Frenchies. These dogs deserve to be safe, loved and cherished as any other! What a lucky pup to land with you guys for a furever family!!! 👏👏👏♥️🐾

I adopted a senior dog years ago because he was at a kill facility and was going to be put down. I had my dear Brian for five years and he was the greatest, most loving, funniest sweetheart ever. He changed me for the better and I wouldn’t be who I am if he was never in my life. Adult dogs and senior dogs are so worth it. ❤

My rescue dog doesn't trust my husband and I, she was so abused... :( this is gonna be a long journey but I'm so happy she can sleep in an actual bed, she loves my other rescue dog, but she doesn't trust humans, but she's so kind, she's not agressive... and one day she will trust us, it's just a matter of being patient and empathetic... don't think all rescue dogs are like theirs...

It’s always heartwarming to see another rescue dog find a forever home! (My own puppy, a pit bull mix, had been shot before we rescued her so she was terrified of loud noises, but luckily we are a quiet house so she felt safe very quickly and now is the biggest snugglebug.) Thank you so much for striving to help older dogs and rescue dogs. It’s a testament to how lovely and welcoming you are as owners and people.

Rosanna, I was in a head on accident at the end of November and my large breed dog was with us. It was the first time I didn’t click in his seat belt. He flew from the backseat and into the windshield. He spent two days at the vet and even after such a traumatic event, his injuries were preventable. Please always use your seatbelts for your beautiful dogs. ❤

It breaks my heart that people can be so cruel to puppers, but I'm so happy for Honey that she's landed not only a great, loving home but also one with other puppies to hang out with so she can truly learn how to dog.
This is why I always adopt from shelters. Most of the pets there don’t know what a good life is and are so afraid and malnourished. I’m glad you have honey now and I think her little ear is so cute

I love watching rescue dogs transform. My sister's dog had so much extra flab from giving birth too many times. She could barely run, struggled so much with food insecurities, had aggressive tendencies, and so much more. She runs every day, has lost most of her stomach flab, is never aggressive, and feels comfortable enough to not finish all her food! It's such a joy to watch her because you can tell how happy she is in her new life.

I loved this! 2 of my pets came from shelters. My old cat who recently died got a good 4 years with us would’ve gotten put down if we didn’t save him. Our dog was adopted as well as my cat Magik!

Yay, so happy to hear that you'll be rescuing/adopting from now on! Almost every breed can end up in the rescue system (my dog was a mini Aussie that I rescued through the local human society), and they're the one's who need a home the most! I'm glad Honey Bun is living the pampered life she's always deserved!

My husband’s frenchie had one ear that was floppy. It was due to a calcium deficiency. With some yogurt and ear massages, the ear popped up!
First honey bun is the cutest little dog and second the mushroom toy you saw at the pet store is a toy that you can put balls or treats in and it encourages them to play because they will get a treat out of the toy so it teaches them to play more.

My two cats are from the shelter, too. Both are special needs. Love them so much.
One gets bladder stones without the right diet.
The other one is one eyed and deaf. The shelter wasn't even aware, that he's deaf. Cats do ignore you, if they don't care. But yeah, he can't hear anything.

She is so adorable! Frenchies are such a special breed. My little guy is just a big love bug. He must be around you and on your lap cuddling. He doesn’t have separation anxiety at all luckily. He just wants to be around you when you’re home. I had a rescue Frenchie before and she was just a cuddle bug too. Honey is so cute and seems like the sweetest baby!
This makes me soooooo happy, it brought literal tears to my eyes. Thank you so much for adopting. All of my dogs have been rescues including my two late pugs, my current pug, and my current Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. We rescued our dog a couple years ago. She also had several litters and then was tossed In cage and left there. Our dogs name is a Frisky Biscuit but we call her biscuit for short. She is doing awesome now. I am so glad that you rescued Honey. Honey is so cute. She is going to have a great life now.

Thank you for shedding light on adoption of rescues. Honey seems to be such a sweetie. My previous fog was from a puppy mill and it took awhile for him to learn to play and fully socialize. He was the sweetest soul. I mad the decision to adopt senior moving forward. They are the toughest to find homes for and often have some health issues. I have the sweetest guy, Toby who had to have surgery and have degenerative eye disorder. He is so adorable and LOVES his walks as he never got them in his first 8 years. Please adopt-don’t shop! 💜
Always adopt and rescue! Never buy an animal again! We have always done both and I can't imagine doing anything different. The animals are always ready to give you the best possible love and they are truly grateful for you taking them to their fur-ever home. Love this, Ro and Mike! OMG, I LOVE HER SNORKY SOUNDS!!! ❤❤❤

I love you adopted an adult dog, it was the exact same reason when I adopted my cats I sought out adult cats with health issues, they're just at the bottom of everyone's wishlist. I had one of my boys, Izzy for 4yrs, and Hunk for 5, we just lost him this past September. It was so painful to lose them, but I'm so happy knowing that they had such a wonderful life , comfortable and taken care of. You can really see how much they appreciate it 💛

As you have experienced rescues are amazing. So many wonderful dogs & cats waiting in the shelters waiting for their forever homes. Sadly many of them never live to see that day due to overcrowding in the shelters & the euthanasia of these poor animals as a result.
