- Topic of the Day- Discussion on the life of Franz Kafka.
Franz Kafka's The Trial is one of the great philosophical novels of the 20th century. It follows Joseph K, an upper-middle-class citizen of a bizarre society where anyone can be put on trial at any moment with no explanation. They will not be told what they are accused of or how to defend themselves. In short, K lives in a world that has gone mad. And The Trial shows how K deals with his arrest, his trial, and his eventual fate.
Kafka's Metamorphosis is one of the most insightful writers about shame and its social effects ever. He excellently documents how good people can do evil things. The Metamorphosis follows Gregor Samsa, who by unknown magical means has been transformed into a giant beetle. The story follows his relationship with his family, the depths of his mind, and ultimately how shame can tear a person apart from the inside out.

I am a student of Sir and for the past few days I have been trying to observe and absorb him. In class he teaches with 200% effort and on top of that Sir has a reference for every movie and web series and now philosophy. He is slowly unfolding his cards....I am amazed... Living in a country like India which is so heavily influenced by Bollywood I have never admired anyone enough to become their fan. Kafka always fascinates me.
I found this session very spiritual. I keep pondering on these wierd questions like "Why Am I even Alive, When I know Death is the only reality"

Being a late 90's kid, I can relate to the enthusiasm I felt while watching the shows like Shaktiman,junior-G etc. Since then, no other content, especially academic ones, has had such an impact on me until I saw your content. Now I experience the same excitement while watching your videos. I literally keep waiting for your videos, especially the Sunday ones.
