When my sister and I were kids, people like me (I’m Autistic) didn’t have a lot of opportunities like kids with Autism do today. I’ve had Special Ed classes, like Occupational Therapy, Adaptive P.E., and Speech Therapy, but that was about it, between grade school and high school. College usually involved either my getting tutored or receiving special testing accommodations, but there weren’t any opportunities for stress release or anything like that. I mean, I do have a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, with Honors, but sometimes, I wish that they’d done more for me.

Yeah, pro tip. We have even less opportunity today. Nothing has changed. Telling you from experience.
