Simply the beginning (Hyeon, who's actor in Squid Game) the Cupid mainly does her own tasks and makes people fall in love. She found herself in love with a human as willing to be the man (Psyche). Here's my breakdown for shorten passage: The Cupid is mainly invisible in the Psyche eye's, she mostly follow him around how she's in love with him during Side A of the music video. The ending of Side A when she was considered to be naked mainly she trying to make herself visible (to be in love with the Psyche, the man) from the rain going angelness (turning into a human being but still a cupid), that's why Side B she went to his apartment, then completely sees her. NewJeans are angels or muses watching over the Cupid (Hoyeon) btw. Afterward the ending of side B; there was a man (the old man, actor named Tony Leung who's actor in Shang-Chi and many more + quite shocking to see him in the music video) he's called Venus part of the story as the father of Cupid (I'm not 100% if he's the father btw) and hates the Psyche to be in love with the Cupid. At the ending where the Cupid was waving at Psyche (the man), the Cupid was in shock seeing him (Venus) there since she's a Cupid while having a forbidden love with the Psyche. And that should explain why they morph into humans during the MV. And by doing so, they told on her to her father (Aphrodite) whom then did what he did in the end. That’s why Cupid usually breaks the fourth wall by staring at them, and why she seemed so disillusioned in the end of the MV while staring at them. Now I have a hunch that they will find a way to complete the story of Cupid and Psyche with the other MVs because if you can’t tell by now the only part that is missing is when Cupid manages to get back with Psyche because of a loophole (Psyche not being allowed to ever look at Cupid). Mainly because of the teaser in the end. And because in a tik tok with Haerin herself dancing Super shy in different settings, she was wearing a Cupid costume.

You're almost there. She did not suddenly turn visible because a human noticed her. As cupid, she begins to yearn for love and thus sheds her divinity to become mortal. You have to consider this from a Greek or Roman mythological perspective, and by extension, Voluptas/Hedone. While not actually confirmed, it makes the most sense for the actress' role to be Hedone and the older man Cupid.

During the museum scene in side A, we see our guy looking at the painting of Psyche and Eros, while Danielle sings "Dreaming of each other.." implying that he did actually dream of her. So, going back to your point of him "noticing," you could say that he did in a way.

Mainly because of the teaser in the end. And because in a tik tok with Haerin herself dancing Super shy in different settings, she was wearing a Cupid costume.
As a Cupid she doesn't feel anything heat, cold, rain... It is a common thing in films when an ethereal being feels something for the first time they use rain because it's visually easier to convey then heat or cold( unless they use snow). So she just shed her immortality and now for the first time she can feel rain on her skin.

But then another cupid angel (the last actor that looked at the dude) made the dude fall in love with another human being cause a cupid isn't supposed to be with a human.
You're almost there. She did not suddenly turn visible because a human noticed her. As cupid, she begins to yearn for love and thus sheds her divinity to become mortal. You have to consider this from a Greek or Roman mythological perspective, and by extension, Voluptas/Hedone. While not actually confirmed, it makes the most sense for the actress' role to be Hedone and the older man Cupid.

@@LFNZE Actually, I just noticed an interesting point. During the museum scene in side A, we see our guy looking at the painting of Psyche and Eros, while Danielle sings "Dreaming of each other.." implying that he did actually dream of her.
This is further supported in side B when he opens the door to see her human form for the first time. It is briefly shown that he was painting her figure. So, going back to your point of him "noticing," you could say that he did in a way.
@@CK-kd5pn I don't think Voluptas/Hedone is involved. The sexes are reversed: Hoyeon=Cupid/Eros, Micol=Psyche/Anima, and Tony=Aphrodite/Venus. The scene where they stand in front of Picot's L'Amour et Psyché makes the first two of those rather explicit. It also makes sense from the mythos perspective, as Aphrodite was known to dislike the Cupid-Psyche relationship, while I don't believe anything of sort was alleged against Cupid and whoever Hedone was boinking.

there’s nothing sexual about this music video. that scene when she’s on the bed with the guy is a reference to the painting Cupid and Psyche by François Edouard Picot (the painting that was in the music video) and that painting is one of the most integral parts of the myth that the mv is retelling. it has nothing to do with sex but rather representing the moment where eros fell in love (admiring her) that’s why you see the lead actress caress his face.
