Your documentary is well researched. Ancient maps have always pointed upwards in the direction of the South but your compass has the North on-top. Even though your South is facing upwards in the correct orientation. In essence, your map's compass should align with the true position of South ( "S" ) above and the true position of North ( "N" ) below. The ancient maps of Kemet ( Mizraim / Egypt ) had the South ( "S" ) facing upwards and the North ( "N" ) facing downwards. Why? Because the River Nile flows downwards to them from an elevated position from Lake Victoria in the South.
