Despite the newer gaming mechanics of DL2. DL1 had atmosphere and good character growth with Kyle Crane. You can tell they want to go back to their roots with his story being extended, and possibly learn from this game for their next DL installment.
@80skidYT I have noticed this trend of companies doing the "return to form" in some fashion. Though the trend eventually dies and they just shoot themselves in the foot (biggest example is CoD going from MW2019 to BO6). I just hope Techland understands returning to form means sticking to it when it comes to The Beast or at best DL3 when it comes out.
I think, each of them have their own charm, and own weakness Like I think they’re dying light one crafting system was perfect But the dying light two is it is a grind the crafting system
They are developing a new dying light game, An unannounced game and they are continuing to update DL2. So it is weird that they are still assigning devs to update a game they said they are done with. These updates don't grow on trees you know?
very deserved update, this game will always be my favourite. it was fun running with friends around the old town and dropkicking zombies. wish i could replay the campaign for the 3rd time, but my pc space is dying so i cant install the game
Well, I got an update alright, do you know that sound that car makes when a part is broken? Well some idiot knocked in head maded that sound to work always, even tho I put all new parts that are level 5,i also got another update, do you know people who enters from time to time and gives you unimaginably high damage weapons? Well, now even if my life depends on it they are not appearing anymore
Everyone knows the first was always better, like only one case of a zombie games getting better from worse is dead island the first one was like an indie game while then newest one feels like a horror hack and slash with rpg player skills
I picked dying light up for 20 dollars at a game shop that is no longer there nether is the mall loved every minute of it I still have that disk somewhere here but I’m using an online Version now hell I’m gonna jump on right now
every single remaster lately is a flop that's meant to earn money twice off of a single person by tricking you into thinking its somehow not the same thing they don't have time/resources to make it worth 'remastering' properly imo and for sure dont let them do it not properly
It's just strange to do a bug patch when they stopped updating the game for a number of years other than the odd community event. That's what made me wonder if it's because of future tie-ins maybe.

Totally agree on all accounts.

@@snowyplaysvidya3806 I do hope so.

it's a masterpiece of course they will update it even if it has been a thousand years m8
Lol! Yes totally a masterpiece.
i think they updated for dying light the beast because they updated the news at dying light menu
I was thinking the same but wasn't sure.
The true question is why not?
Totally agree!

@kozmoz267 I'm excited about it though.
Finally I was able to get the trophy for every side quest because the outposts kept crashing on me
Well done! Glad to hear you were able to complete getting the trophies.
in 2024 i played with my friends and beat the game. I wish i could play this game back in the day
I know what you mean. I didn't play it for a number of years after release.
When the beast come out people might want to play dying light just to learn the origin story
So very true. Maybe this update has something to do with that.

Yes brilliant game. Played it many times over.
The Rais outpost maps kept crashing on ps5, so this is actually really huge for me 😭
Ok, I was just surprised the game got an update after all these years.
Just in case TW3 got a Free next gen upgrade and it could be that DY1 get one too even if is just an update to the original
Ok, maybe that's the reason why.

prob a DL the beast promotion on the map like DL2
You could be right.

A peak game 🗿
It's a true masterpiece.
Well, gta IV is still being updated but just for removing music. At least DL just for making it better.
I didn't realise that about gtav.
Yes but the updates are most likely pre-scheduled to be released upon the expiry of the license
@lewisofthehoood definitely, but still “updates” of a very old game.

It's fun playing a original v1.00 game version. You just need to stop it from updating to do any glitches that were patched.
@ i have down that I’m all about doing it real thou haha
I hope is for an imminent remaster for next gen🙏
Wouldn't that be so cool!
@@80skidYT no, probably not
@@troll_486But they might add new content.

@troll_486 Didn't think of it that way but your probably correct.
Can they fix the fact zombies will attack me even if I'm camouflaged
I think if you bump into them they still attack but the potion from the witch queen is pretty good.
Maybe you're on nightmare difficulty
@MetalHead4lifeGamer Im not
only now? when i just finished the game
It might have been done for other reasons.
Did it patch duplication glitches or no
The solo offline player stash duplication glitch was patched around v1.0.3
Guns are super inaccurate now :/
I don't use them much.
diffrence between bug patch and uptade
True. My bad.
Вчера как били баги так и остались
Is that after the update?
@@80skidYT Yes
@@Sk1terMoonMCMaybe it needs another fix.

DL was getting small fixes here and there, not like its been unupdated for years
@@80skidYT There was small bug-fixes before after the end of support too
@grgrgrgrrrrrrTrue.
