i still laugh loudly each time i watch it again - love the way Vladimir Malakhov lifts his leg up to get Sylvie's extension and the way Sylvie comes on at the end! glad you like it too! must watch again now!

Vladia cracks me up.. he is so good... that Pestov training... and boy, he is amazing Tchaikovsky... another one that cracks me up (also Pestov's student) is Tsiskaridze on Pointe in Bright Stream as Sylphide, he is hilarious. Their great teacher can be prod of his boys.

A pair of ballet dancers come to entrtain them (Nikolai and Maria Alexandrova) and I don't want to go into the whole plot but they are noticed by the older couple from nearby datcha who want individually to meet them in the park. The dancers, to teach them a lesson switch clothes before they meet them and old guy is too blind to see it's a man. I can' give you a longer version from a concert.

Pretty amazing, his end of the variation is actually better than hers. It's pure, strong without any hesitation. Both of them are fantastic dancers, no question about it.
