    Just sharing my ideas one of my favorite book series, A Song of Ice and Fire by George RR Martin. This video may contain spoilers for those of you who are not up to date with the series. That goes for the HBO show and the books.
    I'm just speculating and guessing on some ideas that I have on how future events will transpire in the series. Keep in mind however, I know nothing.

    I find something deeply satisfying that in the end, the monster begged for its life. It begged for the mercy it had never shown any of its victims. A fitting end indeed.

      The Dark Tower is an amazing series, but it definitely isn't a conventional story. I'd check out The Stand or The Talisman (which King co-authored with Peter Straub) first to see if you like Stephen King's style of fantasy-adventure first. If you like those then you should read The Dark Tower. If you thought they were just kinda meh, then maybe The Dark Tower isn't for you. Either way though, IT is an amazing novel, and my guess is that IT will be considered classic American literature in time.

      Roland Deschain there's 2 of them. One novel that has to do with JFK's assassination in which the main character goes to the town from IT and thought he saw a clown in the sewers. And the other book, I don't remember what the title is at the moment, but someone else is once again in the town from IT a couple of years after he's defeated by the grown up Loser Club. Or they're somewhere else, and they see spray paint on the walls of an alley or some decrepit location displaying the words "Cult of IT." So yeah, he's definitely still around.

      Dreamcatcher. Duddits is the enemy of Mr. Gray, also known as Robert Gray, also known as Pennywise the Dancing Clown. Also in Dreamcatcher, the spray paint says "Pennywise Lives", this being long after 1990.

      IT is in The Tommyknockers as well. At one point two teenage characters leave the town to make a run to another nearby town in order to get more batteries. Batteries in hand and on their way back out of town, one of the characters believes he sees a clown waving at him from a sewer drain along the road. Due to reasons (no spoilers), the teenager, his companion, and others they tell all believe that he was at least semi delusional and potentially hallucinating.
      The town where they got the batteries, was Derry.
      Though I have to note, a quick glance at the novels shows Tommyknockers taking place in 1988, while The Loser's Club had already "killed?" IT as adults in 1985.

    Something tells me that IT is not truly dead. And from reading the comments, some people have said that there are hints that IT somehow survived. It's kind of next to impossible to completely kill an immortal, demonic entity like IT.

    • @nathanbeer3338
      @nathanbeer3338 6 років тому +5

      Gabreya Bradley I actually that it is dead because Bob Gray is not demonic it's a physical creature which came from a different place which is beyond space and time called Macroverse, it's a physical creature which can feel pain and according to the book whatever feels pain is physical regardless of what IT believed for the millions upon millions of years that itself was goddess because or never felt pain, not until the losers managed to hurt it and informed Bob that it wasn't as goddess as it thought it was.
      My theory is that the appearances of Pennywise in other books which take place after 1985 actually mean that Ben Hanscom didn't kill all of Bob's children.🎈

      This isn't Lovecraftian. The true horror of Lovecraft is that things like Cthulu and the other Great Old Ones cannot be touched. They don't have hearts to rip out. They are more transcendent than It and The Turtle. The only hope that you have in Lovecraft is that the big bad thinks you are too insignificant to even notice you.
      Don't insult Lovecraft. If your things have hearts and can be killed by ripping them out, it isn't real eldritch horror.

One of the eggs survives and since it is part of IT, it is supernatural/eternal,it has all of pennywise memory like a continuation of it almost and the story could go from there, maybe appears 25 years after pennywise death during a major storm in Dairy.

    Funny thing about how this ultimate evil is killed but that is pretty much how I have always dealt with any messed up crazy thing in my dreams. I get angry at the demons or things thinking they can scare me, like its a great offence and my anger quickly equals my fear and I always try leaping at whatever it is often wanting to physically beat it down or tear at it with my teeth. I kinda like this attitude in the waking world I'd rather look intimidating so most people leave me alone then look all sweet and cute and therefore excellent prey. Also love it in my dreams when I run on all fours and I am an excellent tackler in high school lunch hour football could take down anybody becausde I chased and pounced on them like a cat. Nothing like that feeling of hunting and leaping and giving a full body twist to throw the other guy on the ground almost felt like biting them and roaring after lol I approach fear like a Rhino if I am going down I want to take whatever has the nerve to try down with me, most folks I know just want to run......yeah I'm odd ;p

    how does a cosmic entity from another universe reproduce inside are universe or is the creature that is narrarating (the psychic extension) produce offspring for the macroverse creature and the off spring are an extension of the deadlights

    • @thebatmanover9000

      The Spider was most likely a form IT used so IT could create offspring. IT wanted to use IT's offspring to create a feeding cycle in other cities and towns all over the world.

      The only reason it "might come back" is because it's the most popular monster Stephen King ever made. I'm almost certain popularity's the only reason there have been references to It afterwards. If Salem's Lot had been the most popular you can bet your bottom dollar there'd be references to Barlow everywhere.

      It was pregnant with dozens if not hundreds of babies which it was presumably about to give birth to and send to other places on the Earth. Of course, because It is an avatar of a cosmic being it's likely that these were more like clones or extensions of the same willpower than actual little spider babies. That's just the closest thing the Losers' mortal minds could come to seeing.

    • @joshjames582
      @joshjames582 5 років тому

      It's heavily implied in the book that the Losers aren't sure if they killed all the eggs, because it was so dark and the tunnel was coming down around them. It's possible at least one survived. Baby spiders often eat the remains of the mother as their first meal. A fitting end for the monster, and a good explanation for how It is seemingly still alive in later years. It's not the original spider demon but an offspring, still growing in power slowly.

      I think? Kind of? I interpreted the spider as IT’s *truest* form in our world. Perhaps a spider-like form is the default, the most comfortable shape IT can take, in the same way one might feel free and unconstricted when taking off a tight belt after work. This spider-like monster is implied to only “symbolically” represent the true nature of IT, the Deadlights.

    • @grandmofftarkin77
      @grandmofftarkin77 7 років тому +4

      War Against Myself It probably had the power to, but it more than likely would have been a Faustian deal with the devil. Had they taken the deal, IT would probably have betrayed it's part of the bargain after lulling them into a sense of security and striking when they're too old and feeble. Let's not forget how IT treated it's supposed allies (Henry Bowers and his crew).

    • @waragainstmyself1159

    • @grandmofftarkin77
      @grandmofftarkin77 7 років тому +3

      War Against Myself Yeah, I often pondered it myself. However, from a logic standpoint, Bill and the Losers club wouldn't accept the deal after the death of his brother (which is the catalyst for the whole story) and all the mental anguish and trauma they suffered at IT's hands...not to mention the centuries IT had wrecked havoc and killed numerous children.

    • @garrymiller6745
