Fun fact about this song: it was made popular by the TV show, "13 Reasons Why", causing it to rocket to platinum two whole years after the song originally released! Another fun fact is that Little Moon, the band I play harp in, opened for Lord Huron last year at a music festival in SLC!
I absolutely love how this song sounds on the harp, and I love how this recording turned out too - my bass range in the ascending/descending arpeggios sound soooo good. And of course I had to add some extra reverb in post for the song's intro, haha. I hope you all enjoy!

The song fits wonderfully as a version with a harp. My favorite children's book is about a girl whose parents don't tell her that she was born with wings. When she finds out, she learns to fly and learns to play the harp. Ever since I first read this story as a child, I have been fascinated by the harp. it really is an instrument from another world. Unfortunately, my parents couldn't pay for harp lessons for me because I was already taking piano, guitar and singing lessons
That's not an unfortunate dude or whoever u r. That's PURE blessing right there. Imagine learning other instruments other than the one you most love was already a privileged? What more if you finally get a hold of the ones u truly desire? C'mmon man. Don't waste learning as many instruments as you can while u're given a chance. Many would trade with u just for learning even one instrument you know.
Love this, thanks for sharing. And if you still want to learn the harp, it's never too late to start! My oldest student is 80 years old 😄 There are harp teachers all over the world!
