Hi, Sorry for the late reply. I have been in and out of the hospital with Leukemia since Mid October. I've been doing everything the doctors ask and following their regiment closely. Going in to February I will be spending another month in hospital trying to stomp this cancer out for Spring fishing.
Nicely done, well tied and good instructions pro tip for better eye adhesion flatten the head a little bit w/smooth jaw pliers. this will create a larger flat surface area for the eyes to adhere to. thx. ps. do a mullet pattern!
Great tip! My next saltwater pattern is going to be a sand eel. They are prolific in the Fall and striped bass love them. I will take a look in my fly box and see what mullet patterns I have tied in the past. Do you heat your pliers when you flatten the sides before putting the eyes on? Usually when I use Zap-A-Gap they hold well unless it's a toothy fish. Then I use epoxy or the UV epoxies and that holds the best.
Nice tie
Nice , the dog was having a hard time keeping up with you . Thanks for sharing

Thank you! 👍
Great video. Can't wait to try it on the west coast
It's a great fly. You can add lead wire around the hook shank and the poly tube over it if you want to add weight to it.

I've been typing something close for fresh /surf
That's an all-around great fly pattern for lots of predatory fish. Especially if you can tie yours to match the bait fish hatch.
