Wow - that’s wrong 1:50 The arrow points to the FRONT and AWAY from you!!! This filter draws the air from the vehicle interior. So the airflow is towards the front.
Just squash it (the filter) up in there. Amazing that you have to go through all these ridiculous steps to get access. But thank you anyway. My 2003 Z4 smells awful when I turn on the fan. I will pay the price to get rid of this ungodly odor.

It is recommended to change your filter once a year or every 15,000 miles.
What is so ridiculous about removing one panel to access a filter? Sure it’s a little tight in there but lol
