I was at both nights in Lexington. I’m officially in the Billy Strings cult. This whole band is amazing. At 55 growing up as a metal head in the 80’s, I feel like this is the best these ears have heard.
Very good on multiple instruments which is hard to do unless you literally play all day which he says he does. He also admits he’s a player and not a prodigy which is also true. But he has resurrected bluegrass. Consistently sold out shows. He’s the hottest thing going in bluegrass today.
