Bro not use power adaptor 12 volt and Use the 5 volt power adaptor

Hello bro,I tried making the machine and when I connect it to the laptop the Arduino gets disconnected and I tried running it in outline mode and with laser option.The motors are not running properly.I am using 5v 2A power supply for the machine.Can u help me please.
