Some time ago I was considering making a similar device but I really don't have the free time to complete in a reasonable time frame. Clearly a lot of work went in. Many who are not accustomed building may underestimate what they see because you make it seem so simple. Anyway good work.

Then add a battery and the device will become self-contained, independent of the computer. It would also be nice to redesign the mechanism of the pen. The option suggested in the video is too difficult to replace the ink.
Just go to ebay and order lot of sensors, motors, displays and then you just start with one of them. When you know how to use what you gought then you can make everything.
I would say that being able to have a solid understanding of programming arduino, raspberry pi, or other micro controllers (usually C/C++) is the most important, followed by learning basic circuit theory and the different types of transistors and what they do. For most basic things that should be enough. When you get into more advanced projects, things like real-time capability and power efficiency become more important.
take some semi-big project like 3d printer/cnc router r something similar and try to make it by searching hw is it made and see some videos,thats what i do.

You could make more accurate fancy replica/mould objects and other stuffs2) It is probably the basis of 3d printing as this one build is only stepping x and y axis
did you give any arduino code uploading as well for this project ? , did you included GRBL library. my dvd motors didn't responding to commands fro pc program only servo motor at pen moves. where could be the problem?

Hello Excuse me, I did everything right by training, I tested the motors and installed it on the board. The sero-motor is healthy But the one who wants to do it does not move left and right. The seromuter does not move. The problem is where I tested the 12 volt adapter 1 amps and 5 volts of 2 amps. Both of these would result.
Of all of his projects, this is the one that I really want to try to make. This is amazing. One question, can this be made larger to handle a sheet of typing paper. I would like to make it so it can use a whole sheet.

#Tonmoy islam. Hii. I hve made this project and servo is working fine. But the stepper motors are not working properly. How many volts should i supply to cnc. Now iam using a 5v 2A adapter. Should i try using 12v adapter. Or should i take a short usb cable. Please HELP!!!!
Its Windows 7 32 bit. When i rotate 1st motor it rotates for some time and stops working. And then 2nd motor starts working and then after few seconds it stops and again 1st motor stars working And it continues. Both motor doesnt works at same time. Also they dont work continously it is working jam.
