- Your LG Dehumidifier removes excess moisture in your home caused by high humid conditions -- giving you a more dry and comfortable air. Watch this tutorial video on how to use your product.
*humiditer We liked it **Fastly.Cool** so much in the basement, we bought a second one for the main level. The amount of moisture it pulls out of the air is astonishing.*
It appears they improved this. The old model I have does not have these safety measures.
Works good and I like I can use an app to change settings
Mine lasted a year and a half before the coil started freezing up and stopped dehumidiying. I added refrigerant and its working again but for how long is the question. Aside from buying a new one or taking it completely apart to find the leak/leaks, adding refrigerant was the least painful option. ty
How many times does she say product?
Can it be used in Singapore hot and humidity weather?
This machine is only for dry? Or you can up the humidity ??
Its recall is it?
I have a problem with mine. After a couple of minutes of running it starts freezing up and stops dehumidifying. The auto-defrost light does not turn on, and the ice continues building up. Does anyone have a soulution to this?
How do you make it work with a hose?.. I have hose setup but water will not flow .. instead it shuts off when bicker is full.. unit is a week old
Wow sounds so simple! Lol. And does it have continuous drain??
Yes you can add your hose to the back
Love my LG dehumidifier except for one problem: how do I turn off the full bucket chime that wakes me up every night?!!
Customer service: Drain the bucket before going to sleep☝️ 🤓
Or
Turn off dehumidifier 😶
I have an old dehumidifier that turns on and off until the water reservoir is full, its automatic. Can this one do that?
Freddy Medina yes , it comes on when it senses the humidity is above your preferred settings, I have this exact model, to maintain a relative humidity level if 45% to 55% (For my high end Martin Guitars HD-28 $3k and my Martin 000-15M $1.5k )
I've had one for over a month. It never shuts off. Fan runs 24/7. It doesn't cycle off like a normal unit
yeah what is up with this?
Does it ever reach your targeted humidity level? Is the compressor cycling on and off?
I have read that some units have a continuous fan (although the compressor will cycle) and others, like my Whirlpool, turn the fan off when the compressor goes off as well.
@@Guillotines_For_Globalists I just bought one of these units. The fan will continuously run, but I can hear (and see, from lights flickering) when the compressor turns on. I kind of wish it wouldn't run all the time without me having to physically hit the power button. Kind of ruins the point of being Energy Star if it will just run 23/7 unless you turn it off.
Mine never turns off.
Honestly I appreciate that the fan stays on. Dehumidifiers really get the room they're in hot. Especially if you have one in a living space it can get uncomfortable. This LG dehumidifier is the first that doesn't turn the room into a sauna when it has to be on for a while
Stop saying product. Maybe using "unit" would have been less annoying.
my lg won't turn on
Air conditioning also has a 3 minute delay. I notice that all the time, even Dehumidifier. Both uses compressor-like refrigerant.
What is series of this product?

Why does she constantly say “the product”? Its a dehumidifier call it by its name not the product the product the product. Dehumidifier by name was not mentioned once.
Is the water in the bucket drinkable?
NO. do not drink. how a dehumidifier works is that it has coils that are turned on cold... with the room temperature forced to be sucked in onto the coils. therefore making the coils condensate and drip into the bucket... the air in the room is full of bacteria and germs... and all that will be going into the dehumidifier by filter.. but not all 100% will stay on the filter.. a lot of it will go into the bucket.. therefore making the water VERY VERY Nasty unsafe to drink.
@@NghiaNguyen-qq7yx FINALLY SOMEONE ASKING THAT QUESTION AND ANSWERING IT,, THX YOU
So we can use this in the Philippines? Lol
No one explains the difference in using the dry mode zzz
I have one
Got these for $50 at goodwill
What removes humidity better: a higher number or a lower number?
I have the same question.
Relative Humidity is a ratio if water to air... a higher RH percentage represents more water in the air. it you want to remove more water from the air set your target RH percentage to a lower number.
@@linerror
I finally called for support they told me the opposite.
@@Ricks2Cents It's relative. The video states that as the unit runs it may increase the room temperature by 5 degrees. Relative Humidity is the ratio of current water vapor to the maximum water content the air can contain at a certain temperature. What this means is that hotter temperatures can hold more water thereby lowering your relative humidity. Your humidity setting isn't going to change how efficiently it removes moisture. The unit removes 70 pints of water per day regardless of the setting you have it at. To prevent mold growth a %RH of 50 or less is recommended.
Ok so i had min at 44 and im literally dripping in sweat. But the manuals says to put it it that way. I dont get it
The Best dehumidifier I every bought. It was a little more expensive but works better than the American made piece of junk I had. I will not mention the company to save the American company from embarrassment. Right now we are trying to make America Great again.

"The product"? Is this a robot? Annoying.
Just get A/c
I have A/C, and I use this “product” also.
This is not an air conditioner.
