I love Aurora since The Originals, and I also came to love Hope on Legacies.

In another life or if things had been a little different I think Aurora would have loved Hope like a mother would have.

Aurora held her own against Hope, which wasn’t a surprise. I love Hope but without magic she’s not as powerful, she’s just Hybrid Hayley again and she has the ability to compel people. Aurora is the second strongest female vampire on the planet so she’s pretty powerful/strong. She countered a lot of Hope’s attacks and she use to train in sword fighting with her brother when she was locked up. Same for Hope, without Magic she’s still badass and kicks ass and the fact that she kept up with Aurora show’s her Hybrid strength itself but her magic is the reason she’s the most deadliest creature in the universe if you ask me and the reason she can end someone in a split second.
Thats not true without magic hope is still powerful physically wise. I think hope fought to auroras standard because hope still managed to stand her ground against Ken even tho she was weakened by the red oak. I think she went easier on aurora because she didn’t want to kill aurora
Wrong hope held back
hope defly held back. when her humanity was off and she went after the triad group with aurora being last (when she was first introduced in legacies) hope was faster and stronger then her. and snapper her neck and aurora didn’t see that coming.

Aurora and Rebekah are the strongest female vampires on the planet which explains why It took Hope so long to bring Aurora off her feet, as i’ve stated Hope is VERY STRONG without her magic, her Hybrid side has it’s advantages but against Aurora no, she can basically be considered an Original and she has original strength. which is why i said what i said

While I don’t enjoy the fact that they’ve undone some things set in TVD and originals, I do like the fact that they play out their fight scenes. I wish the other two shows did that !

Whatever happened to vampires and werewolves moving at super speed and using bare claws and teeth to eviscerate one another ferociously. Now we have these slowass girls fighting with medieval weapons.
*that sounds like a lame fight that’ll last 2 seconds. fight choreography gives it more spice although more use of vampire speed would’ve been nice to see. go watch buffy or something lol*

She was affected
Hope was affected. Why you think Hope fell down moaning? She didn't know Arura had red oak ash to even pretend it hurt her and she looked cocky after Aurora stabbed her to only than fall to her knees in pain. Hope just pretended to still be in pain after she healed. The more Hope got stab. The more she's affected which if you watched the episode her healing powers stopped working. Hope even had a cut on her face that wouldn't heal. After that first cut Arora gave Hope there where black lines vain things that we see on dead vampires bodies going up and down Hope's arms. It just didn't reach her heart or face. But there where lines on her arms.

Why does she always fight with a sword?
I love everyone fails to see the main problem with this fight the staff is magic proof not Aurora hope should have ended that fight the minute that she started walking towards her even though this is the best episode that they've had and all their season this episode is plague with problems giant problems
She could have did an earthquake and distracted Aurora then threw her sword at Aurora and then vamp up and grab the damn thing
How easy would it be for Hope to just magically snap her neck, like Freya does? I don't get this writing. Snap her neck, and rip her heart out while she's unconscious, I don't get it.

Strength wise not so much, Hope is strong and she’s also an Original but her strength doesn’t compare to Aurora’s strength who’s been around for over 1000 years, regardless Hope held her ground and she fought Aurora bravely, if she wasn’t effected by the white oak she would’ve probably gotten the best of Aurora eventually but due to her not being able to use magic in the fight Aurora had the upper hand and the weapon that can kill the Tribrid.

No matter how old a non-Original Vampire is they can never be stronger than an Original. Hope has the strength of an Original vampire + her Werewolf strength which makes her vastly stronger than Aurora.
So red oak is her Achilles heel?

I agree with you, loved the show just because it was all they gave us. But TVD and TO shit on this show. Fights scenes were so ass. Always in slow motion and meaningless.
