I always wondered if Aurora would ever come back lol this is probably my fav episode yet. Gives ya some originals nostalgia. I like this better than the monster of the week thing they’ve been doing. Klaus’ enemies vs Hope is much more interesting.
But it is a stupid convo her losing time talking to a spoiled kid.. and then a one thousand old vampire getting owned easily by a kid that became a hybrid like a couple of years before lol
Finally, this episode is just the best episode yet even better than Rebecca episode Cause this episode contains and TO story line and Aurora and Body-Swoomp and just Popa Tunde's Knife and bonus story. I am beyond happy to see Aurora back.

hope has barely lived one lifetime so we shouldn't expect her to be cunning and wise as she hasnt had centuries to learn and grow unlike the rest of her family and people who have lifetimes of experience on her, she doesnt know to expect things like this as at the moment shes going on her tribrid glory tour and not watching her back and devise plans, she may have strength but she is yet to learn wisdom and knowledge

She is very wise and even smarter than some of her family members and Aurora she just got caught off guard in this episode

No it doesn't. Hope is smarter than Aurora and a lot wiser she just made a mistake same as how Klaus did against Davina in season 2.

Called this the moment that hybrid guy died, Aurora's finally back. She's gonna be a hell of an addition to the show if they keep her for the whole Triad thing, a 1000 years old Vampire coming to the Salvatore school would make almost the entire squad shit their pants. Hope Aurora wont be downplayed and make the season darker, even tho she got snapped by Hope in this episode, she was still 2nd to the Mikealsons in terms of strength and age along with Tristan and Lucien. Would love to see an Aurora vs Super Squad fight, she'd send their asses flying to New Orleans, except Hope and maybe Dark Josie of course.

Somehow, I perceive the Vampires in this universe turning off their humanity as somewhat weak. Aurora was right, Hope was also a coward. Instead of facing and dealing with the pain, she decided to turn it off with a switch. Unlike Katherine. Sure Katherine did terrible things over the span of her life, but she did what only perhaps a few of the vamps across the world would do, deal with all the pain face to face. And for that alone, Kat would still remain as my fave vamp, and Josie perhaps my fave witch as she is perhaps the one closest to Kat's character. She has the potential to deal with her darkness, but not losing grip of her light, as we've seen from the previous episode. 👏

@@kwazywrites2808 uhm I believe she did. In tvd, even if it isn't always controlled by the conscious mind, sometimes it is the sub conscious that can take over. Meaning, innately, because of the pain she suffered through, there's something within her, whether she knows it or not that does not want to deal with it anymore, and just wants to escape it. So the moment she killed Landon, that part of her mental state did that for her, and flipped her humanity. At the end of the day it all boils down to her and her choices alone. Subconscious or not.

P.S. Hope's always been the type to escape and deny the pain even if it's confronting her face to face. I'm not saying she's a bad character, but like everyone in Legacies she's just as flawed. She still has a lot to learn, and through her humanity flipped, a lot of learning she will have... at the end of it.
Hope's literally been feared since the day she was born. Told she was an abomination that shouldn't exist. Was possessed by an ancient spirit and as result, her family had to split up. She carries the Mikaelson name. Her father and uncle died to save her, her mother died because of vampires who had a hatred towards hybrids like her, and she had to kill the love of her life. There's so much trauma I haven't even touched on. I don't blame Hope for turning it off, consciously or subconsciously

Damn tbh I wish Klaus would come back like I get that he's dead and joseph morgan thinks that Klaus's storyline is done, but we never really got to see Nik as a father and this would be a perfect moment to bring him back because, he and landon may be the only 2 people who could get hope to turn her humanity back on
Tricking her into thinking that was papa tunde’s blade was brilliant.
I absolutely love that even though some of these storylines have happened years prior to Legacies the writers decided to tie up some loose ends from previous shows like Jo, Kai and Aurora.
They didn't manage Kai well, he was too easily defeated for how much trouble and scheming he did prior
@@Introvertsan It’s not that he was handled well, but more so that his storyline was basically over, Chris Wood was back only for a limited time, and Kai is nothing compared to Hope.
@@hinatashoyo1748 He should have been much more of a challenge regardless of her being a Tribrid. He is a very conniving, scheming and slippery character sure Hope could take him out but it happened all too easily when he was a big bad, it was too easy and very anticlimactic. Kai got taken out by school kids essentially. It's like how they retconned how powerful Hope is most times in Legacies like she depends a bit too much on weapons when she was a very powerful witch from a young age and in her teens. It's different writers on this show but they can at least make it better.
@@Introvertsan I listed three of the reasons why he was killed. The biggest one was Chris Wood being back for a limited time. Him being killed off by Hope was his storyline being basically over. After TVD there was nothing left for him to do.

Hope is far superior to her. Dark Josie probably is as well but the rest the squat will have a hard time dealing with a vampire that is second only to the originals im speed and strength.

Hope needs to study and understand her family's enemies and not just depend on being a Tribrid. If she had done that she would have been able to have an idea or some backup plan for what Aurora did next. She didn't live that long just because she is a vampire but because she is smart

Rebekah, Finn, and Kol were not hated as much as the first two. After Finn’s and Kol’s deaths, every vampire they ever sired ended up dying. Lucien and Tristan knew that it was a matter of time before Klaus’s enemies would catch up to him, so because of that, the sireline wars started and they wanted to find a way to separate themselves. That’s pretty much it

Don't know if anyone wondered this but this confirms she's stronger than non-original vampires that are at least 1,000+ years old. So she might be equal or stronger than originals too. My question is how strong is she compared to Alaric (Enhanced Original), Mikael, Lucien (Beast) and Marcel (Beast)?
It's confirmed that she's one of the most powerful characters in the tvdu and she is stronger than the originals and mikael but it's still debated whether shes stronger than lucien and alaric
in her curent state i'm not so sure that she will be able to defeat lucien and the others , and Especially Alaric whom for me was the most terrifying . In the futur centuries when she will have like +1000 yrs old , maybe she could stand a chance against them .
