You and Mr JWW are slowly becoming my preferred UA-camrs over SOL, Shmee etc purely for the quality and effort put in editing wise - You're still a bit of a noob but you're growing on me.
Looks so much better without the old graphics imo, and the wheels are on point. May I suggest some Ohlins road & track coilovers, knock the front down a tad and better road holding but that's just me ✌ sounds sexual
Don't get me wrong I'm a supporter of the Supercars of London channel and Paul Wallace himself but I'm sorry, this video was just incredibly well made! Visuals were brilliant, talking parts broken up by those little dslr smooth shots that we all love, talked about some of the pros and cons and overall just well put together, it feels like it belongs on tv! I take my hat off again to you sir Mr Glass, well done and keep it up!
+DanTheTwoWheeler I was very aware of that two, very well made. Seen Through Glass and Mr JWW are making the best quality vids. Even the best content can be unwatchable when a guy cant edit. These two guys I'm looking forward to watching, all the others are becoming repetitive and formulaic.
I've watched both sol and stg since the very beginning. And I thought exactly the same in the video it was perfectly edited, actually funny not weird oxymorons like in every other car reviewer. This video was perfect a lot better than sol in terms of video editing
That was a real pleasure to watch that video! Great editing, informations, tips... Loved it! And by the way Sam, there's no way I won't make a ride video in your car during Top Marques :D !!
Great vid buddy. Helped me a lot. Just trying decide if to go for the V6S or V8S at the moment. R is out of my range. And good to see your fluff your lines at the start of videos as much as I do. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
+Daniel Deutschen LOL! Try $105k-$125k+. You need the 5.0 engine if you want supercarish performance, otherwise might as well buy a corvette or a mustang. Cheaper and faster.
alanrtment porter yep you're so right. here in germany you rarely see a mustang or a vette. I don't think seen 10 mustangs 'in the wild', not even thinking about corvettes
bro the thing wrong with mustangs and corvets is that you guys in mericu put 600+ hp in them and then you act like youve never heard of awd like what if you just wanna go out for a drive and its raining and its forecast to rain for the entire week? i guess thats why americans like nissan gt-r's so much oh wait is there another car out there with a similar price range thats much better oh yeah the jaguar f-type svr that thing costs the same 2nd hand and it sounds better it looks better it goes 5 mph quicker as a to speed it has 13 more horsepower ok its slower to 60 by 0.3 seconds but seriously your paying for a jaaaaaaaaaaaag you imagine if you walk into a cafe and talk to your friend and your friend asks you what youre driving seriously whats more cool to say is it more cool to say you have a nissan gt-r or do you wanna say you have a jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaag f-type svr?
I've had four Jags so far (including a V12 XJR-S, which did 12mpg in town), my current Jag is an XKR which I'm happy with. I did recently have a new F-Type R AWD for an extended test drive, and I nearly cried when I had to hand it back lol The F-type R has ferocious performance with a 0-60 of 3.8s.........that's definitely supercar performance. So I shall be living on baked beans too shortly as the obvious progression from an XKR is to an F-Type R AWD.
Lol - the reason he had problems talking at the start of the video is because the Jaaaaaag is such an exciting car (and they are - I have an XF and I love it) so he must be as happy as Larry by owning that RF.
A second-hand F-Type R in Australia STARTS at $200K. There are some things that really suck about living in Australia...especially when you're a car lover
sam, i sincerely am such a huge fan of your f type, probably the most beautiful spec ive come accross. Very good choice of car to begin with, but the light mods and detailing just make me want to kiss all my fingers at once like an italian
Thank you sam for being so precise as to the running costs and the price at which u purchased the car!! I hate it when automotive category UA-camrs are super secretive about how much they spend on their cars...
5:36 Bumpy road + stiff suspension equates to sliding about everywhere as you float more and will have less rubber on the road. On bumby roads you need softer suspension to ensure contact and traction always. Stiff is for slick surfaces where you can get the benefit of tighter body without losing traction.
loved the video man! always love your videos, i had this one full screen and didnt check the time or anything once, so entertaining, and now i want a jaaagg, i cant wait to test drive one and own a sports car, im actualy starting this channel for car reviews like yours, i love the style keep up the incredible content sam!
Can't do better than these Jags post 2012 XK or 14 and after Ftype. Amazing fun, beautiful, and at times scary fast cars. I loved my XKRS so much I bought a XKR a year later as well!!! The V8 is totally addicting....
Thanks for this detailed look at your car. What I think a lot of car youtubers forget is that the viewers like to see the little things. how much does it take to fill with gas? what every little door and switch does. what it loos like under the seat? the best and worst milage you have gotten. the silly thinks that we look at in daily drivers are ofter fotgotten in supercar/gtcar reviews :)
Great video, very informative. Keep doing what you're doing. All your videos are informative, well presented and filmed. Most of all you look like you're enjoying it, and i speak for myself, but you get me to laugh a few times each video, which makes the videos much more enjoyable. This is coming from someone who wasn't a fan until a few weeks back.
+Aron Bell Well there you go get the super charged V6. I've seen some reviews where they prefer the weight and balance of the car and said its plenty fast.
The new SVR starting price you quote is around the current price of your car, at the mileage it was when you bought it, when buying your F-Type in Australia.
hey sam, just wanted to say that the quality of your vids, the editing and sounds are far much better than paul wallace's vids. it is really nice to watch your videos. personally I'm a fan of supercars of london, in fact I came across this channel because of that. I follow both of you and I enjoy a lot your content. keep going! and thank you very much for everything!
you have clearly stepped up your video making game to a whole another level, not that your previous ones were bad. no no they were awesome but this one is just perfect keep it up!
So you added the rear wing but how does that affect the rear automatic spoiler from by default? Is that something you disable...etc. Very curious about it. Thanks, -Nigel
I am curious about the same thing. It is supposed to deploy automatically at 60-70 m.p.h. and go back down when you drive under 50 m.p.h. Maybe the installer had disabled it.
Damn this was so well edited, never subbed to your channel before always been a SOL guy but might switch my allegiances now, this video could even feature on fifth gear or something rather than on SOL where you stare at Paul's face for 15 minutes.
I have a Golf GT (1.4 twincharged) and I love it! I have had it for about 4 months now and every time I accelerate I start smiling! For me that is awesome! Of course 0-100kph takes about 6 seconds but It is so much fun! Let's all enjoy our cars!
then there are people that dont have a car, but a bike or an oyster card. dont underestimate their power if you are quoting from that Facebook video that talks about how graceful you are? have you ever wondered what the man in the helicopter could have possibly wanted?
In Malaysia, the annual road tax for a Jaguar F-Type R would cost you around RM11,000. That's about £2,000. The car itself is around a million MYR on the road.
Doesn't effects the exhaust modification your sound system too much, I guess it's much louder inside the cabin now then before? So less comfort in a GT way.

I counted about 38 Range Rovers in this video
You brits sure love your Range Rovers
+BARBAROS OZKAN (Barbaros3423) You see most Range Rovers in the Tesco car park, especially around bank holiday weekends.
Welcome to London, the only place in the world where the average car is an S-class or a Range Rover
EA - Enormous Assholes just want to say
you have an awesome name
i had no idea EA stood for that
Then you should come to Shanghai to see the real rich.
jaguar land rover, its the same company, google it
One of the funniest UA-camrs around. Hands down. :)
I see you in every comment. 😍😘
That's good to know :)
"...because I'm a gypsy..." you sir just earned my subscription.
After watching SOL,Shmee 150,Seb D in all of their car I must say yours is the best and most usefull
You and Mr JWW are slowly becoming my preferred UA-camrs over SOL, Shmee etc purely for the quality and effort put in editing wise - You're still a bit of a noob but you're growing on me.
lol
+Jack Owen I like them all because they're all unique in their own ways.
+Bacon Man exactly
Shmee isn't too bad in terms if effort, I like SOL's content, but his editing sucks
+Josh wright I actually find Shmee quite boring, he just tends to walk around events talking nowadays, not to mention his voice grates on me
Looks so much better without the old graphics imo, and the wheels are on point. May I suggest some Ohlins road & track coilovers, knock the front down a tad and better road holding but that's just me ✌ sounds sexual
Can't decide if this guy is 20 or 60
He's a Jag driver - 60.

The Jag looks very good in the true blood rap
*wrap
I dunno about the rear diffuser, it needs to be darker or carbon fibre
+Carlover16 I like the color but it's so easy to tell it's not paint, no clear reflections like you get with paint

Sam have you ever thought about owning A 4C? I heard they're fun little cars ;)

He did have a 4C

OMG That accent
a tastefully modified F type. so good!
This car is fucking brutal. NEVER sell it.
And it sounds amazing. especially after the exhaust modification!

I literally love every modification you've done on this jag, it's possibly the best way to modify an f-type
This car makes the 4C look like a go-kart, I'm totally in love with every modification you've made! The rear of the car is the best part of it.
65 grand for a jag f-type r with such high specs!! thats actually quite a deal
+Daniel Deutschen LOL! Try $105k-$125k+. You need the 5.0 engine if you want supercarish performance, otherwise might as well buy a corvette or a mustang. Cheaper and faster.
65k would get you a bottom spec normal v6 jag and I mean bottom
