My 1000 miles are so comfortable, they did like a glove
I’m not sure how you have time to do all the videos you but thanks.
Unfortunately haven’t been able to do much videos for a little while between the workload and family matters hoping to be able to start posting very shortly
@@CobblersPlusHopefully, I would still love the educational video go be done on what is acceptable to keep and what isn't. I know I have experienced lasting issues in the past.
My issue is what is acceptable and what isn't? I am not usually picky but I have learned the issues of sometimes not being picky enough. I have had first quality Red Wing's that should have been marked thirds and not even seconds as an example.
A janky welt is fine, a cobbler can replace it. The toes not being lasted right or I had a loose grain leather used in the back of a heel stay that eventually split. Things like that aren't fun or really that acceptable. I used Saphir's leather repair but ultimately it's an older wholecut 9111 Red Wing. You can't really fix it per say and it hasn't even had a resole.
I brush, I wipe down, I condition as needed and I use Boot Trees. Nothing is really overdone but sometimes things happen. Learning through attrition sucks but it is learning. Learning through observation and others is by far preferable though.
Mine were a half size too large. Still really comfortable. Broken in the feel is nice.
One of my first heritage boot buys long ago. Still love them.
Just got my first pair. They were on sale for just under $200 which is hard to beat. Only been one day but so far they're really comfortable, curious to see how they break in over the next couple of weeks. Sizing is odd: I got 11D and they fit pretty nice out of the box (curious to see how they are at the end of a day) yet I wear 10.5 3E-11.5 3E in Allen Edmonds, 45-46 in Mephisto, 44 Regular/Wide in Birkenstock lace-ups, 12 (US) in Blundstone.
Still my #1 boot to own. Why? = very comfortable. I own HELM and Beckett Simonon boots and both of those brands hurt my feet.
Great job 👏🏾
I was disappointed when I found out that they don't have a leather insole🥺
They don't make wide sizes so I shall refrain from purchasing 1000 mile boots and save up for another pair of Whites.
Clicked on the vid so fast. Really hoping for cash 😅
