Great work, just a suggestion, you can buy foam door seal for a house door from local hardware store. Its self adhesive and can be bought in various widths. No cutting to width is required then and it looks neater.
Thanks for this. It's driven me nuts for the two years I've owned mine. Only respite is on warm days. Winter here in the UK the rattle is audible even with the cover closed. Gonna try this the next dry weekend I get!
I tried it today and followed your instructions step by step . I had been experiencing this Rattling for the last 6 months. It took me ( having no experience) about 45 minutes to do that. I used 1 X 1 Cm strip. After having a test drive for 30 minutes, i can conclude that the rattle is gone. There is a little bit of rattling noise when i drive on an uneven part of the road or small pothole ( It is normal , isn't it ?? ). Thank you Man for taking your time to show us the solution. 🙏
Just a tip for better access to the bolts .... When you open the sunroof all the way up, you can remove the Plastic "covers" that are blocking the view on the rails from inside. This gives you much more room to operate and you can even tighten the bolts when fully closed.

Apologies for the bad weather, but hopefully you can still make out most of what I'm saying. If not, the fix, in text form: stingerforum.org/threads/concerns-popping-creaking-noise-from-sunroof.801/page-45#post-402701
Bless you for posting this. I am gonna give it a go tomorrow. My creaking/ rattling from this sun roof assembly is not terrible, maybe 5% of the rattle you had prior to the fix, but unfortunately my ears are fine tuned to hear imperfections in my car ever if they're subtle 🥲. I will say that I had a bit of a creak kind of noise from the door seals when big first got my car about 2 years ago and I used "Gummi pfledge stift" to lube the seals and I have not heard that noise since then. So I would use that product on the seals of the sun roof rather than replacing them to be honest.
Thanks for making this very helpful video from my written instructions! Glad it works for you and so many others.

I'm glad it worked! It's crazy that the solution is so simple, and can be done by people like us with no experience!
