I'm not saying the dude can't play.. What he does though is passes off the illusion of a mimed video as live, studio recordings as real performance, and gives younger aspiring players, fans, and peers an unrealistic standard to try to live up to while advising some practice method that is arguably dangerous to your body. These aren't baseless claims I am making. I was in Rings of Saturn and I grew up in the era of modern music recording. I know all the tricks and I can hear them dude. I can listen to less than a bar of music and know how it was recorded. I can also watch a video and immediately tell if it is mimed. There's a reason my recordings and a million other 'authentic' players recordings sound significantly different than bands/artists who use those methods. Last thing to think about. There's nothing wrong with this whole thing... The stuffsounds cool, is unique, and is entertaining to listen to. The issue is in the delivery of it to fans/peers/aspiring musicians under the guise of it being completely real. If this makes you lose respect me or my work.. I don't know what to tell you.
I got the same guitar,, lefty too, but my tuning is WAAAY low, E B E A D F# B. I recall the website said its 27in scale, but when i measure i got close to 26.5 which one is it ? the guitar is taken out from the website
