@@MohamadAzri-f9xYeah, man, I love David’s skill, and he brought so much energy and passion into Korn. It’s a shame he kind of became a tool-bag after his departure, but I think Ray was a solid replacement for David.
He’s a bit of a beast ! i remember a few years back when they all got back together & were one of the bands playing the soundwave festivals in Australia… right before they got to Australia i read somewhere he broke one of his hands and was so bummed they weren’t going to play or even have a fill in drummer for him… but nope… he sucked it up and played all the soundwave shows across Australia and DID NOT miss a beat…. the video title is off. Clearly the star of the show is the drummer that looks like is about to destroy his own drum kit like every 5 seconds. Best drumming moves ever! Love it!
Is she the one that took over for Rayna when she got pregnant in the late 90's? I remember seeing them live and they had some girl who wasn't Rayna but she was fine as helllllllllll. I was in the front row and I don't think i took my eyes off of her the entire show
It just shows that with dedication to your craft you can go from fumbling through a two note riff in your garage to 30 years later fumbling through a 2 note riff in a guitar studio. NEVER give up
This might be the best I've seen Mikey play, and I was in a band with him. Like a fine wine.... just getting better wirh age. I'm so happy for these guys!
So, Mickey Cox, the one who wasn´t credited in the title was the one who stole the whole show, who would tell? The guy gave it all in just a closed performance for Schecter, not even a real concert on a big arena and he did it having as much fun as he could... Respect! 💪
I am so thankful I got to see this band live on 3 different occasions. I hope to see them live for the 4th time in September when they come to Northeast, Ohio again!
Always have loved Meegs guitar tone. Just so crunchy and the tuning has it sounding like a locomotive. Also, coal chamber has always reminded me that the KISS method is so important when writing. You don’t have to write the most complicated riff or solo ever for it to be great. This is one of my favorite riffs and it’s simple. The beauty is the simplicity. 🤘🏻
For me Nadja has one of the best bass sound in metal , so much headroom (24V mod I presume) .... like stoner bassist had and for me that's the only way how a bass should sounds . In a lot of bands today we don't even hear the bass at all .........
Hell yeah ! Saw them back in February when they toured Australia with Mudvayne and holy shit hearing her bass live was so awesome, it was just thumping in my chest. She was on fire that night !
@@scarce911 everyone I want to see touring rn when I'm broke. Would love to see them if I could but just knowing they're touring and doing well together makes me just as happy.
Solid. Mikey is a beast and the guitar and bass tones are on point. New album hopefully within the next year or two. Imagine how nuts this would have been with Dez in.
Nice. Always loved Coal Chamber. Mike has always been a beast on the drums. Hitting the snare and cymbals while choking another symbol at the same time. Acting like he's got 3 arms.
I love Mike's energy you can tell there burned out from playing so much shows but Mike's drums are so under rated I was a huge coal chamber fan growing up it sad how the times have changed and so fast I still remember being in 9th grade listening to them and now I'm 37 still a metal head nothing but love for our past heros
I know we're supposed to be here for the guitars but lets face it, we stayed for Mikey. Absolutely loved his drumming from day 1, most entertaining performer in the game. Absolute granite hitter.
What is meegs even trying to do? Was there something wrong with his wrist or something? You'd think after 30 years he would have learned how to palm mute...
please retitle this video as: Nadja Peulen, Meegs Rascon, and Mikey Cox of Coal Chamber Perform "Fiend"
I'd rename it to she can sure play that 3rd fret
@@krackenagatenonbreh3456 She played the 6th fret here and there too... LOL
Seriously...Mikey out there putting in the most work and getting zero credit. Thumbs down for that.

Or just coal chamber minus Dez
Mikey’s transformation into Jack from Tekken is complete.
hah!
Bro seriously! Lmmfao! Hits like em for sure! He's an awesome ass drummer!
So is Meegs conversion into Twiggy Ramirez
Mikey only has two gears.. GO, and GO HARD
Him and David Silveria they both give so much of themselves to the drums and both suffered injuries because they hit so f*cking hard!

Same with David Silveria.
Love how the drummers the only one having fun :)
A proper drummer right there!!!
May not be the craziest bass riff of all time but you gotta love the chunkiness Nadja brings 🤘
