This is the rrason the North doesnt want Nigeria divided, they used Federal might to assinged oil wells to themselsves and their friends and relatives. They created strong men but weak institutions, thats why their states and people will remain poor but this Igbo men started humbly and graduated to where they are today noiselessly. You only mentioned the ones you.know. Igbos abroad within $100m to $3B are so many.

The video is incomplete, and it seems like there might be a part two coming. However, when it comes to the South West states, the content to be created might still not be accurate. The South West people don't flaunt their wealth, except through the education of their children. For example, many women who own gold and lace shops in Balogun Market are worth hundreds of millions of dollars and have massive homes in London and children studying in the best schools worldwide, yet they remain very discreet and don't brag. Additionally, there are young tech multimillionaires in the South West who have created some of the popular apps used in banking today. So, this video presents an incomplete list, and even the next part might not be accurate.

You don't have any thing both the education and other wise yoruba tribe don't have it it only depends on one Nigeria without meaning in yoruba language which means oil and gas money sharing allocation every month from eastern region and education what and what have yoruba tribe discovered or create or solve or produce or developed their own land states even now power is in their hands yoruba and Nigeria is in big problem where is the yoruba education because this is the time to know what educated people or tribe can do yet yoruba tribe is still sleeping using education as covered up yoruba tribe been many in the class room or school building does not mark them the most educated people or tribe instead it is what they yoruba tribe use that education to make or create or solve or produce or developed which other tribes can not that is where different comes in between them and other tribes but been many in the class room or school building yet produce the most educated corrupt system and people in Nigeria

    • @interestingthingstoknow8975

@@denniskcobi3470 It's important to address the misunderstandings and inaccuracies in your comment, even though it was so difficult to understand your flawed and incorrect grammar...
First, the Yoruba people have a long and distinguished history of education and development. The southwestern region of Nigeria is home to some of the country’s most prestigious educational institutions, including the University of Ibadan, the oldest degree-awarding institution in Nigeria, and Obafemi Awolowo University, known for its academic excellence. These institutions have produced numerous influential figures in various fields, both within Nigeria and internationally.
Your assertion that the Yoruba tribe hasn't created or solved anything of significance is unfounded. The Yoruba region has been a hub for innovation and development. The tech industry in Lagos, often referred to as the "Silicon Valley of Africa," is thriving with young Yoruba entrepreneurs leading the charge. Companies like Andela, Paystack, and Flutterwave, which were co-founded by Yoruba individuals, have gained international recognition and investment.
Moreover, the contributions of Yoruba individuals in various sectors cannot be overstated. The late Fela Kuti, who pioneered the Afrobeat genre and used his music for social change, is another notable Yoruba figure. These examples highlight the diverse talents and significant impact of the Yoruba people.
The claim that the Yoruba tribe is reliant solely on oil and gas allocations is misleading. While it's true that Nigeria's economy benefits from oil revenues, the southwestern region has diversified its economy significantly. Lagos, for example, is a major financial center not only in Nigeria but in Africa, with a robust economy supported by industries such as finance, entertainment, and technology.
If I wanted to follow your ill-informed and stereotypical ways, I would say all people from the east are known for fraud, illegal drug trade, and violent crimes. However, I won't generalize the way you have. Every ethnic group has its positive and negative aspects, and it’s unfair to paint an entire group with the same brush.
The idea that Lagos is a "no man's land" or was built solely by Igbos is a misconception. All tribes live in Lagos and thrive there, that's why everyone loves to live in Lagos. Lagos has been managed by the Yorubas, and the development and modern infrastructure coming up and being built in Lagos are a result of the vision, management, and actions of the Yoruba people. I'm not an APC party supporter, I actually supported Labour party during the election and feel the election in Lagos was rigged, however, the fact that Yorubas have contributed immensely to the development of Lagos, which is a Yoruba state... and very welcoming of all tribes in Nigeria, can not be pushed aside.
Furthermore, the eastern region also relies on federal allocations. No region in Nigeria is completely independent of these funds, so pointing fingers at the southwest while ignoring this fact is hypocritical.
Regarding corruption, it is a pervasive issue that affects all regions and ethnic groups in Nigeria. It is not specific to any one tribe. The Yoruba people, like others in Nigeria, have individuals who have both contributed positively and those who have been involved in corruption. Generalizing corruption as a Yoruba trait is both unfair and inaccurate. Please show me a state in the east or any part of Nigeria without corrupt people?
The Yoruba people have a rich heritage of education, innovation, and significant contributions to Nigeria's development. It is essential to approach discussions about different ethnic groups with respect and a recognition of their unique contributions rather than resorting to baseless generalizations and stereotypes.
