I know this is a few years old, but is there any way to import all the PSD layers and have them be editable within InDesign? I can import a PSD into After Effects, make the text editable and now I'm basically have a native AE layout.

You can't edit elements of a Photoshop file within InDesign. You could, however, import or duplicate the Photoshop file multiple times within InDesign. You could then alter the visibility of layers within each of the Photoshop files and then stack them on top of each other.
