was just in my first accident after someone ran a red and we crashed. I really wish I saw this video sooner just to know how nasty these insurance people can truly be. Was on the phone getting asked a lot of questions and without having someone who knew what was gonna happen to me I probably would have talked myself into a deep deep hole even though I'm the victim
when I wrecked my bike my insurance adjuster came over to my home. I was absolutely 100% honest with him, and he pointed out scratches on my gas tank. I said "No, that is from my belt buckle it didn't happen in the accident". He said "No, no, I fix!" and he did. Not all adjusters are out to get you, you just gotta find the burnt out ones that hate their company lol.
This advice is extremely accurate, and I’ve been a character in the insurance game as the victim. Always call the police so that the officer can apply the fault. The case number and ticket is super important when it comes to finalizing your MVA (Motor Vehicle Accident) case.
It was nice dealing with my insurance company after my accident. They asked if i had any bodily injuries from the accident and i did not. They said to let them know if any pain manifested in the coming weeks/months so future medical bills and what not would be covered by them. Mind you, it's not like i brought up being injured, because i wasn't. It was one of the first things they asked me.This was with State farm. I know everyone will have different experiences, but mine was thankfully great! God Bless!
Biggest way to avoid drama in an accident... BUY FRONT AND REAR DASHCAMS! so many people are scared to invest $200 in good cameras but end up having ridiculous deductibles and increased rates because of "lack of proof" in an accident that may or may not be their fault🙄
Ugh I just got into my 1st accident today 😭 I was on the main road and the other driver had a stop sign on the intersecting road, they turned right into my lane just as I was passing by and we ended up crashing into each other 🙃
I just called Barry's law firm to find some assistance with my auto accident on the west coast. Ended up speaking with him directly. He couldn't give me a specific referral to someone near me but he did give me a few minutes of his time and did give me some some direction. Seemed like a really nice guy. Thank you, Barry.
I was in an accident yesterday. The car pulled out in front of me attempting to make a U-turn in the middle of the street. Police report was filed and the police officer confirmed based on the damages to both vehicles, that he was at fault. This was my first accident and his 2nd. He was in a rental car as well. I filed my claim with State Farm and unfortunately have a $1000 deductible. The quote to fix my car was $3500. I hate the fact I have to pay anything. I guess I will just wait and see.
This one of the best video's there is out there, much appreciated the time and effort taken to get the message across and to make people aware ,thank you sir
Great information, I recently got into a accident where my car was parked on private property and a drunk driver hit it . I have a feeling that the damages are more costly than the worth of the car. It’s been 3 days and I haven’t reported anything to any insurance company since I just got the police report today. I have a 2005 chrystler town and country with 145,654 miles. This is my first accident so any advice would be useful ? Most importantly if they undervalue my car should I get a lawyer to get a better settlement?
Hi, if there is any significant damage then it probably will be totaled. There really aren't any attorneys who get involved in cases like that. You should contact the insurance company for the guy who hit your car right away. If we're a me I would also file a claim with my own insurance just in case the other guy does not have any insurance.
Hello, I was involved in a minor incident. I was stopped at a red light. The driver in front of me was attempting to go into the other lane. To do that she reversed but went to far and bumped the front of my car. I had no damage and she had maybe a scratch. She is trying to say I am at “fault”. No police were called, we were both headed to work. Only numbers and names were exchanged.
what happens if it’s just scratch and we didn’t call the police? we just exchanged infos.. this my first time that happened to me.. i was nervous. i was leaving in a parking lot and forgot to turn on my headlight 😔 can you help me can you give me advice pls.
My husband was involved in a car accident. Three cars were involved in the accident. My husband was not at fault but the insurance doesn't want to admit that there customer was at fault. We are getting ready to go to trial. Any advice you can give us?
Question Gary, I was in a multiple car accident today. Lady was under the influence. What should I do? My truck was brand new 2020 with only 13,000 miles. The depreciation! Brand new truck with an accident. What do you recommend I do?
Hi, well, you'd file a claim with the ins co's of course. But research how to seek diminished value of your vehicle. It's possible (though difficult). Barry
I hope I don’t get any repercussions from this but there is an insurance company out there that after we have paid them a ridiculous amount of money for car insurance and an umbrella insurance we learned the hard way that “they are not!, on our side”🧐 the amount of work I had to do just for them to be completely accurate with what happened was crazy not to mention they made a decision based from a corporate round table in Ohio, and I’m in the Bay Area. It’s really so important to know what your saying and how you say it to your insurance company!
I got rear ended on the freeway and made a claim and took my car to the repair shop the insurance told me and I just got a call they said they would use non-original parts on my car, my car is 2018 rav 4 , what can I do? Should I get a lawyer?
Did you suffer injuries? That is the only way a lawyer would get involved in this type of case sorry to say. Generally speaking at least. What does your insurance policy say?
Other driver insurance company claimed responsibility and gave me the option to choose my on repair facility. However there is a labor cost discrepancy . How can I keep from paying a potential out of pocket cost?
Hi, once the initial work is done, if there is more work to do, there would normally, again, normally be a supplemental estimate done and submitted to the insurance company. So you shouldn't have to pay out of pocket. Again, that's just what I have seen in the past here in IL at least.
100% Solid information. I was rear ended by a drunk driver going 70, and I was at a dead stop. Unfortunately, caused severe damage to my back and couldnt walk with out assistance. The amount of time, stress, and money that was saved by having an Attorney, made it 100% worth it. I know 100% for a fact, I would have not been able to do it by myself. The insurance company that I had at the time (Progressive), tried to not pay out of my Underinsured/No Insurance policy, since the Drunk Driver had only state minimums, but i had 150/300 coverage. Even with that, they didnt want to pay a red cent over what the at fault parties insurance paid. So, my Attorney went to court, and we settled for the FULL amount of my policy, PLUS damages from the man who hit me. The advice in this video is 100% Correct. ITS SO WORTH IT
I had an accident a month ago, a woman hit me from behind, it wasn’t look too bad. We called the police and he filled the report and stated it was the other persons fault. The problem is the other persons insurance denied the claim bcse the car was not insured at the time of the accident, my insurance is willing to pay but I have a $1000 deductible and the cost to repair the car is about $2500. My question is can I file a claim in the court? I want the other person at least to pay my deductible. how that works. Do I need an attorney? To be honest the first week I had a pain in my neck but I feel much better. What will you suggest? I am in Augusta GA. Thank you.
Hi, sure. Sounds like a small claims action for your costs and a little pain and suffering. You can do it on your own - don't need an attorney for that....
I was just in an accident today, someone ran into the back of my new car at a stop light. Entire back of the car is damaged and it looks like the frame is bent but after talking to the insurance company I don’t think it will be considered totaled. Since I live in California the statue is salvage value + repair cost > car value. With the prices for used cars through the roof at the moment I don’t see those numbers being greater than the value. If they do try and fix it, I know the car will never drive the same (it’s a final production run 2021 WRX STI Limited) plus it will immediately lose value due to the accident on file & my insurance company doesn’t cover diminished value… someone hit me in a junker 2003 Toyota and I get screwed.
This is such great information! I got rear ended 2-3 days ago. Honestly I do have a neck and shoulder back pain. The accident caused some nerve damage. Is this a good time for me to get a lawyer. At this time my insurance is trying to see how much they will pay out to fix my car. I am so confused I have never been through something like this. My regular job I use my hands and arms a lot I am nervous to go back to work.
Hi Janet, yes, I'd say you definitely at least want to consult with a local personal injury attorney. To at least get some insight on what you're going through. But sounds like you're doing the right things.
I had accident 5 month ago, it was not my fault , the other driver told the officer it’s his fault and he gave me his insurance information but he gave me the passenger driver license not his and he didn’t take my insurance information because it’s his fault . Now after five month I received letter from a court that he is suing me for medical bills and pain and suffering . But when he left the accident scene he told the fire department people that he is ok and he told same for the police officer … what do you think I should do ?
A person ran into me yesterday jumped out the car and ran off I just have liability insurance and the don't have no insurance at all what are my options? I didn't get injured but the car got totalled help please ???
I had a car accident 2 days ago, the person with whom I had the accident admitted that it was just her fault, what should I do now? should I talk to my insurance company or to her insurance company? i mean for a claim, I'm badly injured in the back, legs, neck and right hand! ill gonna wait for you answer thank you!.
Hi Petrica, if you're badly injured, you should speak to a local attorney asap. They can then file claims on your behalf with the insurance companies. Where did this happen? I may know someone who can help.
So my 16 year old brother was driving my car the other day and I have liability insurance on that car from State Farm and so my brother got into a wreck but he is on the insurance policy with me. He was fine with no physical injuries and so was the other driver. From what the officer at arrival told him was that it was his fault that he made the wrong turn and came in front of the other car. So what do you guys think I should do now? Should I talk to my insurance or just try to have my car fixed on my own?
Hi, I honestly dont know for sure. People try to settle cases themselves often. To avoid using their insurance or if they dont have any. I wpuld check your state statutes. My gut says its not against the law per se. But if you dont provide the info you get sued and then you are obligated to provide it anyway s
Wow... This dude says he's an attourney but dosn't know for sure if it's legal to offer money instead of providing your insurance?? Yes it is. Don't do it. He's right about you potentialy being sued for not providing it, but in court, I'm pretty sure just about any judge is going to see it as a bribe... Not advisable. If you want to give someone money because you feel bad about hurting them or damaging property, do it after insurance has setteled on both sides and well after ( not right after) any court procedings with a letter saying something like " I'm sorry about what happened, I hope this donation to you helps you with any of you or your family's property or bodily damage. I wish you the best and hope a full recovery" That's the only way you can be safe about giving anyone money after an accident. Hope this helped. I'm not even an attourney and I know this...
@@jamesfunyon6514 Hello, we have to agree to disagree. If you get in a fender bender for example and make an offer to settle with the victim rather than giving your insurance. I dont believe that is unlawful. Thank you for the comment. Barry
@lawful @barry You know, I think I was a little Hasty to reply oh, it's just I've been treated pretty harshly by courts before and had a hard time believing that they wouldn't see it that way. And I gave it some thought, so long as both parties agree I don't see the problem in that, I definitely see the benefit avoiding premiums going up and a lengthy process when all you want to do is fix a headlight and a fender or whatever. see this is why we need people like you LOL I don't exactly know what I'm talking about sometimes but I suppose I had a good guess going there?
I got into a car accident a couple weeks ago. I was the one who hit the other car. However, the hit was very light and only made some scratches on their car. Everyone was perfectly fine. Nobody was injured. However, the people lied & claimed for injuries & now I am being charged to pay for those injuries. What can I do ? I shouldn't have to pay for something that didn't happen.
just watched this attorney, i just had a rear end collision earlier this afternooon around 10 hours ago..will talk to a lawyer here in missiissippi hopefuly tuesday..
Thank you for making these very informative videos. I was in a car accident in which my insurance claimed there's not enough evidence of who's at fault, so they would not pay for my deductible, but did not find me at fault and didn't raise my monthly dues. To me that seems contradictory or at least confusing.
@@LawFull I did file a suit. She was served a month ago. The hearing is late December. She has a history of avoidance. She disconnected her phone for two months before finally responding to her insurance, otherwise they would've ruled on my favor due to non-cooperation.
Someone ran a red-light and hit me while I was driving and I ran into a pole. I didn't go to the hospital until 2 days later because I had pain in different parts of my body that's affecting my sleep and is starting to get worse. I haven't been able to work since the accident, I don't have any money to hire a physical therapist, I'm on the verge of getting kicked out of my hotel because I don't have any money and can't work. Should I hire a personal injury attorney for my pain and suffering?
I got into a car accident it was learner student who hit me backing up when he should going forward I called in insurance company and told them the truth but the other dude told them I hit them what do I do their asking if I can give proof but I don't have any
Good morning, did you file a police report? If the insurance company denies your claim, you may have to file with your own insurance company and let them go after the other insurance company for reimbursement. Otherwise, you would have to file a lawsuit against the other driver. Barry
Hi I have a question. I was in my parking lot and there were too much black ice. My car got skid and hit with the pole. Nd my car got damaged from front. Although I tried my best to stop my car but I unfortunately I couldn’t. Will I get any demerit point for that?
Hi, that's a question better for your insurance company than for me. I don't know your insurance company's policies about points on your record. Call your insurance agent or insurance adjuster. Sorry I can't be more help on this one.
Hi! Can you answer me, please: I try to file claim, but insurance company Allstate Makes tricky steps, company drives in circles and I have no way to contact the claim department, they drive me in circles, tell me what can I do? It's not my fault in the accident I got hit from behind on the road, I have different insurance and I can't claim...
Hello - you don't have your own insurance you can turn to in order to get your property damage fixed? If not, then you need to continue pursuing Allstate. Call the 800#. Go to your adjuster's manager for help. .. And document everything you do. If that doesn't work and you still get nowhere, you may have to file a lawsuit against the driver of the other vehicle. If the damage is small enough, you may be able to file in small claims court.
Hello, yesterday morning an older lady hit me as I was passing by on the intersection. She was on a road with a stop sign and pulled out right in front of me, I blew my horn and swerved to the right but she still t-boned me on the rear passenger side door. My insurance company is still waiting on the police report before deciding liability. What do I need to be prepared for since NC is a contributory negligence state?
Hi Ashley, well, it sounds pretty clear. Did the police give any indication that you were at all at fault? If not, then I'm not sure there's much to look out for. Though to be honest, I don't know anything about NC law....
Hi how are you I’ve gotten in a car accident 2 weeks ago I hit a parked vehicle from a water bottle rolling under my break couldn’t stop quick enough .. my insurance company is now asking for call logs and pictures with the dates on them . The victim I hit didn’t call the police we made an agreement over the phone to contact our insurance companies so they can handle it all. I’m hoping they won’t give me too much of a hassle
Very interesting , I am noticing many many claims from family and friends and yes myself .. have been told our vehicles are “totaled” when damage was hardly much. I started to ponder on the idea of ( I wonder if it’s easier for them to just write it off as totaled ) but then I asked myself well how does that benefit them if they have to give you a check for the value of your car… after my second accident it was going to be written up as “totaled” however the Autobody shop I took it to , was able to say no it’s not and it’s fixable” so my insurance company agreed to their evaluation and I got to keep my car. It’s very odd to me .
I had a car accident on March 15th. I called state farm and filed an insurance claim on the 16th. They told me that they would take my car to a body shop on the 16th and provided me with a car rental for a month. I called back on March 26th and april 4th to get an update on my car only to find out my car is still at the tow yard and I turn in my car rental on April 9. What can i do because i have no transportation and state farm didn't even notify me any information about my car. They lied to me stating that my car would be at the bodyshop on the 16th and the 26th. It is now April 5th and they tell me it was there fault do to my case dropping and my car is now at the bodyshop. how can i get extra time with my rental due to there mistake?
Hi TK - well, tell them all the above. How they dropped the ball and they need to cover you for extra days with a rental car. Other than that, I don't have too many other options. But if they really dropped the ball and it sounds like they did, they should accomodate you.
I was at a stop sign waited until traffic was clear on both ends too my left and right there was a car in the far left but I felt I had time too make my turn but as I started too make my turn it seem like she speed up as I was turning I was only going 3-5 miles she was going at least 45 I have collateral protection thru my car company wasn’t aware but my insurance expired 3 months ago will I be at fault ?
Hi, it's really next to impossible for me to know with such limited facts. Did the police come to the scene of the accident and what did they say? Thank you
Hello got in a finder bender accident with a neighbor she was parked in her driveway and I was on the street trying to park my dads suv in front of her house she then hit the passenger back side of the suv scraping up the bottom back passenger side and my back rim. Damage on her car was minor and knocked off her plates. She called the cops didn’t want to give me her information or insurance. She handed it to the officer. She also had hit my other car as she did “ hit and run “ on it before hitting the suv. Then she hit the suv and before the cops even showed up she tried to run me over with her car to park in front of my house. People seen her do it I told the officer he didn’t do anything about it since “ no one was hurt “ and I know have body ache pain and debating if I should go to the doctor and tell them what happened. And what do I do if I see my doctor?
Can you please advise me, someone run redlight and hit my back passenger door and back wheel in a residential road . My car spent 180 deg and total. There were no city cameras and no witnesses except my passenger ( my colleague). Both of us get neck pain. Other driver claims we run red light although he did in an intersection. His air bag came out. How will I prove that, it's his fault.
Well, use the physical evidence for where he hit your vehicle is an option. Are there any independent witnesses? Any chance there is a video camera anywhere near there? Otherwise, its your word against theirs.
Thanks for the information Sr. Last month i got into a Acident and I’m from New York and car who he me front behind is from Florida but he insurance don’t answer what can i do?
Well for starters you should start to document in writing that you tried to contact them. I would do it by fax or Amaya email. But definitely start to document every time you reach out to them and they don't respond. That's where I would start.
Hello, so I got into a car crash (my first one) on new years morning. I was traveling down a road around 6am which was pitch dark. Their was a tree laying in the middle of the road and it was too late to see the tree since it was super dark, I crashed into it. My car is definitely totaled and my adjuster should be calling me today. Their was a car in scene that also crashed 10pm the night before but it wasn’t towed out and the police knew about it and they still didn’t close the roads or put warning signs despite the whole neighborhood calling to close the roads down. I have back pain and neck pain but nothing serious. What can I expect from this since my adjuster is calling me today and my car is financed through a loan company.
Hello, If I have a comprehensive insurance for my car, Can’t I take the compensation from other party’s insurance instead of my insurance company, if fault was done by other party?
I’m dealing with Farmers insurance right now on a claim. My insurance company is USAA and they are being very helpful with me. The accident wasn’t my fault, farmers tried to fight it but eventually took fault but now I’m jumping through hoops trying to get my Jeep fixed. The adjuster for the claim didn’t answer her phone for over a week and wouldn’t respond to the messages I left. Finally got ahold of her and she got my damage estimate I got from a repair shop but now they want to send someone out to look at my jeep and I feel like they are really trying to low ball me and not give me enough to fix the damages.
I feel like I’ve made my mistaken and I’m super worried , I took photo of my vehicle after the accident but I didn’t know I was suppose to take other drives cuz I feel like don’t know about life still 😔 is kind of like can’t show proof from what happened to people vehicles and I’ve got ticket that I was suppose to pay to department until February for example and is December and not sure if something that is already to late to play for my ticket after car accident please help ? :( ,it would go worse for me
Hi, I'm not entirely sure what you're asking me. If it's about the traffic ticket, I strongly suggest doing a search on Google for a 'traffic ticket attorney near me.' They would be better suited to advise you regarding that topic than I would.... Also, if you caused the accident, just turn it over to your auto insurance company. That's why you've been paying for ins this whole time. This will all work itself out. Just get some local help....
My girlfriend just got rear ended. As soon as I got off the phone with her I called an attorney. Should I shop around for attorneys and what should I do if I feel like there not treating my girl right what are sign to look for your attorney is shady? Thanks in advance
Hi, well it's a little bit early to figure out if they're shedding or not. If you would like a referral to turn I'd be happy to make you one. But it all depends on how significant the injury is our to your girlfriend.
What should one do if at the time of the accident I had an Adrenaline Rush and told the insurance I felt fine, since then I've been having chronic headaches but didn't think much of it and since then I said I was fine but a few days later I've been getting horrible headaches? I'm sure the distress of needing my car fixed but the other party is refusing to cooperate isn't helping. Is it too late to inform my insurance of my head hurting now?
It is not too late. However I would suggest that you focus on your health as opposed to just thinking about the claim. Go get some medical treatment and get your head checked out. That is what's really important here.
My wife made an accident today where she was in fault and hit the other car. My car got damaged in the front side including bumper. Police came and took the complain, we called aaa and filed a claim. Now waiting for the insurance company to call me. What shall i tell the person from company ?
Great video I had and accident 2 days ago and it was the other person fault my car and Another were really crashed and i already have an attorney. They tolled my. Car and I don’t know if my Insurance will take care of it or the other person or how long will it take because I do need my car for school and work
So I got into a car accident but my car has a bad charge off and my car was totaled is there any thing I can do to get the money or how do I go about this any suggestions will be appreciated thanks
If by 'bad charge off' you mean you owe the finance company a lot of money, then i would recommend watching this video ua-cam.com/video/GPMDraowuPg/v-deo.html on this topic. But what will happen is the insurance company is going to pay the finance company first then anything left over to you. If I understand what you're saying correctly.
Involved in a car accident a few days ago. Was rear ended and the person at fault SUV and my truck were taken to Tow yard. My truck frame looks completely bent. No major injuries. Some discomfort and soreness. Do you advice I hire legal representation?
Hi, depends on the extent of your injuries. If this is just a property damage case in reality, probably dont need an attorney. But if you want to try and recover for your injuries, it would be advisable to get counsel.
Me and my lawyer are working on my case right now. I gave a recorded statement (the day after the accident) and told them I was in pain, but that I felt I might be okay later. This was because I'm stubborn and I thought I could just tough it out. But the pain didn't go away and I worked for a year with PT to get better. Now, we're moving further in the settlement process. Do you think they can use what I said against me? That, at the time, I thought the pain might go away? I did tell them about the pain I had and it's not like I'm not a fortune teller. What do you think?
Hi. I have All State. I was online on DoorDash, but not in Delivery Services period when a driver hit me head on. My insurance denied all coverage and are saying DoorDash needs to cover my damaged vehicle. And DoorDash is saying that they won't cover it since I was not in the middle of Delivery Services. What do I do?
I was rear ended a week ago involving a chain. I had a great impact on my back. I cannot stand or sit for a long time. I am a nurse and my work involves walking, standing and sitting to chart all shift. I didn't hear from the person responsible insurance for days. I went to ER same day and was permitted days off due to the pain and injury. The insurance company health rep. called me and was asking me about my health and when I mentioned I was home seeing a back/ spine specialist, stated" what kind of injury will they recommend 2 weeks off work" I was so furious and told her I wanted to speak to someone else . Please advise Thanks
What should I do, a lady on the freeway 70mph moved to my lane and stop like crazy when I was driving 75mph so I tried to avoid and I hit her with my front side and now she’s saying it was me and she has a attorney.
Hi 1. Turn it over to your insurance company. They'll know what to do. 2. If you think she was at fault for the accident, file a claim with her insurance for the damage to your property and potentially any injuries you suffered. If you did suffer injuries, I'd recommend you consult with a local attorney asap.
I was just hit by a someone in my car that I have only had for about 3 weeks. The driver passed his stop sign and hit me at about 50mph and I was going about 10mph. He tried to leave the scen but his tire popped off from how hard the crash was, our airbags went off. The guy who hit me is incarcerated with pending charges of intoxication assault x2 which I believe is a 3rd degree felony. He has no insurance, I have full coverage with $500 deductible collision. Will I be okay through it all if he didn’t have insurance? I’m so worried and stressed, in so much body pain and missing work. No broken bones just in horrible pain. 😔
Hi, it all depends on what type of insurance you have. I would definitely consult with a local attorney. Just do a search for a 'personal injury lawyer near me' on Google. There should be many to choose from... I'm sorry you're going through all of this.
I was in a accident 2 wks ago and the other drive hit me totaled my car and his, we both didn't have insurance and it was his fault, do he suppose to pay for my car I have no injuries,
Got in my first accident today☹, young lady came out of a driveway to cross 3 lanes wrecked the whole right side of my car, she said she was sorry she didn't see me she admitted fault to me and officer. I called my geico insurance to make report, they told me to call her insurance to make claim, I did, I told them she crashed into me, they said a claim professional would contact me. any advice?
Morning David, sounds like you're doing the right things. Sorry you are going through this. Not sure if I can offer any generic advice more than my videos. But if you get in a situation and have a specific question let me know. Barry
I got into an accident yesterday, a car cut me off anf i honked at the car. I kept driving and the car sped up to the left of me and it was a full car of guys screaming at me and the driver jerked his car trying ti hit me and i went to the side to avoid it and hit two parked cars and spun out of control. The polic were called and i made a report and contacted my insurance. Unfortunatly i wasnt able to get the car that made me crash since thet sped off. Im windering if mt insurance will cover, i have full coverage.
What if someone hits my car because they ran the red light?? and teared off my front bumper. My insurance geico says I may have to pay 500 deductible and I have to pay the rental car insurance which is 17.99 a day....cant I get reimbursed from the persons insurance that hit me??
Can you tell me what you think. If there’s a two-way road with the center turn lane for both directions. Car B & Car A are both in furthest left straight lane with Car A multiple cars behind Car B. As Car B was almost to a stop, if not stopped completely due to the red light so Car A slowed down, then turned on left signal to get into center turn lane to pull into the parking lot, on the left side of the road. Car A is in center turn lane while Car A was approaching next to Car B Car B decides to jump into the center turn lane, with no signal indication or warning. Car A has damage on the right front and some on the right side up front. Car B was hit on the drivers side front door and a little on the drivers side rear door. By the damage indication and this little paragraph (if it makes any sense to you lol) Who would you say is at fault? I can send a demonstration photo I did up myself if needed, thanks!
I had an accident yesterday, a car hit me my two passengers doors are damaged. I thought it was my old pain and didn’t wanna bother. So I reported to the police, ambulance and my assurance that I was okay. I had an accident at work a week ago I’m placed out of work for couple week and I’m doing therapies 3times a week right now. This night I noticed my pain doubles up. What should I do?
Well, multiple accidents are alwaus complicating. But if this exacerbated your pain report it to your therapist and you may need to see your doctor especially if the i juries are to new places
Hey I’ve recently been involved in a car accident.I’ve told them it was my upper back that was hurt but it’s actually my lower back should I tell them this or will it be fine because I have got a doctors report regarding my back injury and it does say my lower back is in pain also I have physiotherapist booked by my solicitors this Monday
It appeared someone backed into my vehicle(no proof/near by cameras). Like a cut in vehicle/dent/paint missing. Is it worth the hassle? My car was parked. I was in the house.
I got into accident yesterday Which wasn’t at my fault but when the insurance Got recorded statement they asked if I’m injured and at the moment I did not feel physical injury. Now I have lawsuit and my attorney handling the case but does my recorded statement would make problems for me?
~ question I was reversing the other day and I couldn't really see threw the mirror because of the sun so I backed into another car nothing major just some scuff marks and or scratches but he's still filling an insurance claim will this show up on my driving record?? In the state of California ~
Hi, that's really a question for a CA insurance agent. Do you have one? I don't know CA law and would not want to speculate. Sorry I can't be more help on this one.
Hey, I had got into a self-accident 3 days ago and my airbags deployed. There was a Tire in the road while I was on the highway and I couldn’t dodge it because it was a 18 wheeler beside me but my car looks like it could be repaired cause the damage Is small so idk how my airbags deploy. And just 3 weeks ago I got pulled over and was told I Need insurance so I went got it dat week n this happened, what should I Do in this situation. I still haven’t called my insurance company, I was thinking about getting someone to replace the airbags and fix it up for me but idk wat I should do. What would you do?
Hi I'm not sure I entirely understand. But if you got in a solo vehicle accident, hopefully you purchased insurance to cover it. So you could file a claim with your own ins co and see if you have coverage. Is this the info you were looking for? If not, please restate your question. Thanks, Barry
Hello, I'm from Toronto, 35 years old, it is my second year I'm driving a car without any accident before, I had an accident last month and I see my insurance company increased my insurance rate 20% in this month. I just heard from people they can just increase it maximum 10% and even in a fault accident if it is my first accident, I can get a forgiveness. But I'm just so shocked by getting 20% increasing my car insurance. Please tell me, is it lawful to increase 20% car insurance and if it us not, what can I do to get a justice?
Hi Reza, to be honest, I don't know anything about insurance companies and insurance law up in Canada. Generally speaking an insurance company here in the states can raise your rates if you get in an accident. But how much and how quickly is something I cannot speak about. I'm sorry I can't be more help. Barry
Hi, I was recently in a car accident, my vehicle was parked in a driveway and another driver was parked in that same driveway, and as she was backing up to leave she hit my car. The problem is I do not have insurance on my car but the other driver does. Will it be my fault for not having insurance and will my car not be fixed through her insurance?
@@LawFull My situation is just like hers I was parked in front of my boyfriends home and a drunk driver hit my car & 2 other vehicles that belonged to my boyfriend as well. I had received insurance the same day but on the report for the drunk driver they didn’t have any insurance on him..Idk if he didn’t have it on him or just didn’t have but I will have my lawyer take a look at it...I’m just a little worried b/c I just got the insurance. Will that be a problem for me?
@@trinabellz1985 Hi, well, if the insurance policy was in effect at the time of the accident - there should not be an issue. But it would have to be in effect at that moment the accident happened..... Barry
Hi! Great content. I just got in an accident this morning and the guy rear ended me. It wasn’t too bad because he was only going around 15 mph but there is still damage to my bumper. What are some thing I should and should not say when I call his insurance?
LawFull no there were no injuries, but he is an acquaintance of mine from school so he is messaging me asking for photos of my car damage and asking if the car is mine, which it is not but I am under the insurance, should I let them deal with the claim?
If someone rear ends me and there are some damages on my bumper and the other driver is asking for my insurance information should I provide this he says he needs to file a claim for himself
Hello I’m new here, I was involved in an accident a lady hit my vehicle while I was parked and made a big dent on my door which now it does not close completely and I have rain coming inside. How many days does the other insurance have to respond back to me. Please help
Hi, I'm sure there is a law in your state that says how long. I can't tell you. But generally these things take time. But if you have a pressing need to get your car looked at like you say, call them again and follow up with a fax that says that more damage is taking place to the car because of the water coming in etc etc.
The driver in front of me hit their brakes suddenly while we were traveling full speed on a green light, and caused the car I was traveling In to be totaled. Fast forward years later they are trying to sue for damages. What should I do in this case?.
Hi, turn it over to the insurance company you had at the time of the accident. That's why you had insurance in the event something like this happened.... Sorry you're dealing with this.
Hello! I’m a new driver, so while backing up in my parking lot I scratched a neighbor’s car. I found someone who can fix it, but he only wants to do it with a friend of his, who’s charging me over a 1000, when every other professional tells me it’s worth around $300. I haven’t contacted my Insurance yet, but I did file an online police report. What should I do? They don’t want to cooperate. They’re trying to scam me
Hi, thank you for you videos. What if you don’t present any injuries or feel any pain right at after the accident until days or weeks later? If that’s the case, do I need to go to the doctor the same day as the accident? The doctor’s office said they were booked for the day, is the ER a good idea? Thanks!
Hi, I would say 2 things 1. It will be harder to recover but not impossible - especially if you get a lawyer. But it could be a challenge. 2. Focus on your health and not your "case." If you're in pain and have health insurance, get medical treatment. The money will do you know good if you are in pain... If you know what I mean. But again, if you waited weeks later, it will be difficult to recover for your medical bills and pain and suffering. Sorry to say.
I just got into an accident like a week ago. I’ve never dealt with an insurance company before and I know it’s going to be a pain in the butt. I have an older car that’s a 94 but still worth 40k but most likely the repairs are going to cost around 15k. I’m scared they are going to totaled my car because I’m their eyes it’s an old car. Any advice?
I was riding my motorcycle and i car was on my lane in a turn with high speed we crashed,i broke my whole pelvis and sacrum, tail to the point surgery wasn’t possible and suffering many other injuries. While i was unconscious before the police arrived the person moved and parked he’s car and some people who tried to help moved me while i was unconscious all messed up and then after removing my helmet gave me water to try to wake me up while i also had suffered damage to my lungs ty and also my motorcycle was moved but you could see the lines and stuff,my insurance was not called to check the site no one called it not even the police. I got a good lawyer but could you elaborate on this give me a professional answer to what’s the penalties are. I’m 22 it happened in Greece and i also got a witness that testified and i was completely legal, all papers and all and by miracle gonna make a full recovery Thank you sir.
Hi, I apologize but I don't know the first thing about Greek accident law. I'm an IL attorney and the info I give here is intended to be generic so that folks can take it and go research their own state laws.... In this case, you would need to confer with a Greek attorney I'm afraid. Sorry I can't be more helpful on this one.
Hi. Thanks for posting this video. My son's car (front bumper) was torn off by coworker. He was parked next to his car and puled out a little too close. He offered to pay all damages or file claim against his insurance. I would have to get estimates. What's the best option? Thanks for your time..
If I can share a quick personal story. Basically, my friends neighbor across the street backed into his car. She's a fairly new younger driver and her parents offered to pay out of pocket for his body shop repairs on his car. I advised him against it but he took their offer. That was nine months ago and they still haven't paid him a dime. The repairs were roughly $1,500. I understand he wanted to keep a good relationship with them being friendly and cordial, but that's also what insurance is for.
I was involved in an accident this morning. The car behind me was hit from the rear and shunted into me, intern I was shunted into the car in front of me. The car in front of me sustained no damage the driver didn’t hang around and left the seen. My insurance company took all the details I got at the seen, they told me that I could be liable for the car in front that drove off. They also said I could loose my no claims discount and access. I obviously disputed this with my insurance company as he left the seen saying he had no damage to his vehicle. I can’t understand that I could be at fault because I was hit in the rear, i had no chance of being able to stop before hitting him. Plus the fact he left saying his car wasn’t damaged. Any advice or actions I can take to avoid loosing my no claims discount and access would be appreciated.
Hi, the no claims discount - I can't comment on that. Don't know anything about how they work that. That is a question for your insurance agent. Sorry I can't be more help on that.

Mazda CX 30 2021 26k miles Leased. I was in an accident yesterday, and it might be an officially totaled car this coming week. Let's say it is claimed and listed as being totaled. I owe 4200.00 on the remaining lease. My buy residual price at the end of my lease is 13,800.00 That's 18000.00 total. But...the value price of that make and model didn't depreciate like usually. Its value now is around 22,000.00 If my state farm insurance decides to pay out a value reimbursement to my mazda financial title ?? 22,000 who gets the extra 4k?? I'm on a contract saying I can buy it for 13,800.00 once I finish my payments. Does the customer get any money in a bizarre backwards situation like this? Does my insurance company need to see my contracted residual buy in price? Does the Mazda dealership need to get me in another similar car for the last year of my lease and then offer me that that other car at my residual price. This is a canumdrum!!! Thanks
Hi - I have to be honest. I have no idea. I'd like to help out but this is way out of my range of knowledge. Never quite had a situation like that before.

Hello, I’m actually dealing with progressive after a car accident and the car damage was estimated in dealer shop for 5300$ Snd we want to get the money instead of fixing the car but the insurer said that we can only get 3000$ for the damage if we want to get the check for ourselves and we can get it fix in the dealer shop and they will pay that amount to the repair shop not us so now I feel like they obligated me to get the lower amount. Please let me know what to do and if I have the right to get the check repair from them. I have acura RDX and both doors got damaged so the check that they want to give me no dealer shop will fix the car for that big damage for this money.
Hello, I'm not sure I understand what you're asking. But I would suggest consulting with a local attorney for this matter. Your state may have different laws than where I am and I don't want to give you bad information. Sorry I can't be more helpful on this one. Barry
Hi. This weekend my mother in law and 4 yr. old daughter were involved in accident. They were rear end at a stop light. My daughter said her side was hurting so they both went to emergency. My mother in law just settled with the insurance company for $1300. Any suggestions?
She settled before she even knows what her medical bills are? For your daughter, depends on the extent of injury. I'd wait a bit and see how the injury progresses before settling.
What if you was in an accident and it wasn't your fault your front end of your car went to flatten Road and the guy that came across hit you what do I do he didn't have no insurance and I didn't have no insurance
Well if neither party has insurance and you think the other party is at fault, seek reimbursement from that party and if they refuse you will have to file a lawsuit, likely in small claims court
If an insurance agent gives you incorrect information regarding extended coverage when u purchase a vehicle and you get in a car accident, and now they are stating something totally different, what should I do? Can they be held accountable? Money was never an issue. I always pay for the year in advance to not have problems. I was told that i would have full coverage on the new vehicle for 14 days and than the insurance quote she gave me would kick in and I'd pay for the rest of the car insurance - since I pay for it all upfront for a year. Now they are saying that full coverage is only for 5 day and than whatever I had on my vehicle I was listed on prior to accident would reflect the other days remaining of the 14 days. My car is financed and the accident I was in most likely will total my vehicle. A vehicle that is financed is required to have full coverage. Also how does a dealer let you off the lot if you don't have full coverage on a financed vehicle? Is there a good lawyer you can refer us to in the state of WA?
Hi, so what you're talking about then is a claim against the insurance broker for misleading you and/or screwing up when they set you up with your policy. That is far outside anything I know anything about I'm sorry to say. But what I would do is do a search for an insurance coverage attorney in your city. There will be attorneys local to you who handle E&O claims. Sorry I can't be more help.
I was involved in a car accident on nov 1st. I was making a left turn because a car waved me thru now I am being cited for failure to yeild the right of way causing bodily injury. I have full coverage however the other party had no license and no insurance. I believe the person might have been using another persons vehicle. Should I get all lawyer or just plead no contest?
Hi, first you need to turn this over to your auto insurance company to defend you. With regard to the ticket, there are so many nuances about what you should and do. I strongly recommend talking to a local attorney about this. And also, I would not post anything further online about this matter. You need to speak with a local traffic attorney to figure out what you should do and also how pleading to something etc might effect the civil case.
Depends on your insurance policy. You need to file a claim and find out. If you have comprehensive coverage it should be covered. But, you'll have to pay your deductible. So I'm not sure using your insurnace in such a small case makes a lot of sense....
@@nurjehadmonir9262I feel like it would be better fixing it yourself because wouldn’t the deductible come out more expensive then if you would just go get it fixed yourself ?
I am dealing with an insurance company and it’s hard I would send them messages through their portal that’s setup and would get no response for months then when I call them I find out that that my case handler has changed I have gone through 3 or 4 times now. Time is up in in nov 2022 so hopefully I get this resolved and what sort of settlement should I really expect for a whiplash injury where my medical history has a list of injuries to the upper part of my body. The accident I have been involved in was at a traffic light in a nut shell the other driver was in a right only lane here in the UK and they tried to overtake me when they should have really waited and then they just rammed into my drivers side. Things could have been a lot worse if I didn’t react promptly.
Hi, I can't really estimate what your case is worth. I don't know the first thing about UK law. I'm sorry I can't be more help on this but I would hate to give you bad info.
@@LawFull Thank you, the strange thing about my case is that they arent able to say how much compensation I’ll get and the worst thing is that the driver couldn’t be identified and remains untraceable. So not sure if they just got scared or they just really where uninsured.
If the damages to the cars are minimal (bumper and a couple dents), I’m not injured but the other driver is claiming to have hurt his arm (although no ambulance was called, should I get a lawyer or am I ok to go at it without one?
I got rearended and the driver sent my car across the bridge and totaled it. The cops wouldldnt let me take pictures of her insurance. I have to wait at least 3 days for the police report to be available. Any advise?
Hi, you can always go through your own insurance if you have property damage coverage. . . But then you'd have to pay your deductible. Otherwise, not much choice but to wait.
@@LawFull yeah I already informed my insurance. We’re waiting for the police report, cause I’m not not too fond of me having to pay anything because of someone reckless driving. Hi I know this video was posted a long time ago but, last week I was parked in a store parking lot when a driver hit my car, they were trying to avoid the carts and while looking left they hit my car on the right, at the spot the insurance companies were called and everything, she admitted she was at fault but we didn’t record or anything we just took pictures, so now a week later they’re saying that we were going in reverse and that was the reason we crashed, now we’re trying to file a police claim but is there anything else I’m supposed to do? Is there any way we can prove we were parked?
Wish I would of had watched the last month right when. I got into my accident, I had some warranty work done by a dealership for my power steering. A few weeks later it was hinting that it wanted to go out again . Unfortunately it did go out but when I was driving and now my truck is totaled. Long story short my adjuster hasn’t reached out to not one time since the accident . I would absolutely appreciate any information or guidance on my situation.
Hi, unfortunately this isn't a type of situation I normally work with. We do mostly auto accidents. But in short, I would push the adjuster to call you. Send an email, fax, message through the portal. And if all else fails, call the 1-800 # and find out who their manager is and call the manager. That might get their attention.
So true, like other places, the insurance companies are a business. No matter how friendly they act towards you, they are not your friend!!
was just in my first accident after someone ran a red and we crashed. I really wish I saw this video sooner just to know how nasty these insurance people can truly be. He said "No, no, I fix!" and he did. Not all adjusters are out to get you, you just gotta find the burnt out ones that hate their company lol.
Funny story. Thanks for sharing it.

You may get your 1k back if State Farm subrogates (seeks reimbursement) from their insurance company

My husband was involved in a car accident. Three cars were involved in the accident. My husband was not at fault but the insurance doesn't want to admit that there customer was at fault. We are getting ready to go to trial. Any advice you can give us?
Hi, not anything specific. I assume you have a lawyer already so it's best to confidentially communicate with her or him.
If you have injuries please do as Barry says and get a good attorney. If the car is the only damage then it should be easy to settle and move on.
ITS SO WORTH IT
Thanks for that. I see the benefit of getting an attorney all the time as well.
Really sorry you're dealing with this....
Hi, just turn it over to your ins co and let them handle it for you....
@@LawFull thank you! It happend 2 days ago in the morning
@@petricavoicu5879 Hi, where did it happen? City and state?
So my 16 year old brother was driving my car the other day and I have liability insurance on that car from State Farm and so my brother got into a wreck but he is on the insurance policy with me. He was fine with no physical injuries and so was the other driver. From what the officer at arrival told him was that it was his fault that he made the wrong turn and came in front of the other car. So what do you guys think I should do now? Should I talk to my insurance or just try to have my car fixed on my own?
Well, if the cops found your brother at fault - then the other side is going to file a claim with your ins co anyways....
Thanks for your info. I have one question; is that illegal to offer money instead of sharing my insurance for the damage of car accident?

Good morning, did you file a police report? If the insurance company denies your claim, you may have to file with your own insurance company and let them go after the other insurance company for reimbursement. Otherwise, you would have to file a lawsuit against the other driver. Barry
Hi
I have a question.

I'm confused about the last part. There was a second situation where she tried to hit you with her car? Did she actually hit you?
Can you please advise me, someone run redlight and hit my back passenger door and back wheel in a residential road . My car spent 180 deg and total. There were no city cameras and no witnesses except my passenger ( my colleague). Both of us get neck pain. Other driver claims we run red light although he did in an intersection. His air bag came out.
How will I prove that, it's his fault.
Well, use the physical evidence for where he hit your vehicle is an option. Are there any independent witnesses? Any chance there is a video camera anywhere near there? Otherwise, its your word against theirs.

Hi, sorry for the delay responding to this. Did the adjuster call? What did she/he say?
Hello, If I have a comprehensive insurance for my car, Can’t I take the compensation from other party’s insurance instead of my insurance company, if fault was done by other party?
Hi sure you can if they were at fault and their insurance accepts liability for the accident.
That has basically been my experience too. Farmers is awful and USAA has always been very fair.
You should tell them the truth. Doesnt sound like there is much else you can do.

They’re trying to scam me
Sounds like it. Never had this situation before. Tell them to file with your insurance then..
Any advice?
Hard to know. If it's real actual cash value is 40 then you might be ok
What car is it
I was riding my motorcycle and i car was on my lane in a turn with high speed we crashed,i broke my whole pelvis and sacrum, tail to the point surgery wasn’t possible and suffering many other injuries.
I’m 22 it happened in Greece and i also got a witness that testified and i was completely legal, all papers and all and by miracle gonna make a full recovery
Thank you sir.
@@LawFull Yes i did so,Thank you very much sir!!
Hi. Thanks for posting this video.
My son's car (front bumper) was torn off by coworker. He was parked next to his car and puled out a little too close.
He offered to pay all damages or file claim against his insurance. I would have to get estimates.
What's the best option?
Thanks for your time..
I always recommend insurance. But if you trust him.... I've just seen it gone bad many times...
@@LawFull Thanks
The argument here is that you should not have been following the person in front of you so closely.
Followed Gary's tweet here. Informative content and well presented. Keep up the good work mate!
Thanks for taking a look Jesse! BZ
Jesse Stewart so did I.
I need help and advice I got in to an accident my car is a rec I don't know what to do I called 911 they only send a tow truck I really don't know what to do I live alone it's my only vehicle I was going on my first day of a new job . Didn't make it and I'm ok but I felt numb in all of my limbs and my head and I've been jittery ever since it happened it happened at 2 o'clock yesterday I'm in California
Super sir I'm indian personal injury trail lawyer past 30 years your explanation gives me different view sir thank you so much
Mazda CX 30 2021 26k miles
Leased. I was in an accident yesterday, and it might be an officially totaled car this coming week.
Let's say it is claimed and listed as being totaled. I owe 4200.00 on the remaining lease. My buy residual price at the end of my lease is 13,800.00
That's 18000.00 total.
But...the value price of that make and model didn't depreciate like usually.
Its value now is around 22,000.00
If my state farm insurance decides to pay out a value reimbursement to my mazda financial title ??
@@LawFull, it is something that's new!!! When I call Mazda Financial tomorrow to inform them of the accident I don't know if I should bring this up or should I ask the claims department of my insurance carrier State Farm? Or should I say nothing until it's claimed as totaled then ask what State Farm paid to Mazda Financial??
Thanks for getting back!
@@bs6938 Well this is just a shot in the dark - I honestly don't know. If it were me, I'd start with my own insurance agent from whom I bought the insurance policy.
Just got rear ended while waiting at a red light. She hit me twice theres even video and she admitted fault to the officer but she may not have insurance. The officer said her card was expired. What can I do. Went to urgent care and am really sore.
Hopefully you have insurance to cover the damages. If not, you may need to file suit.... There really are no other choices unfortunately.

I have broke my tail light after hitting a tree while reversing. Is it covered by the insurance company? Thanks.
Depends on your insurance policy. You need to file a claim and find out. If you have comprehensive coverage it should be covered. But, you'll have to pay your deductible. So I'm not sure using your insurnace in such a small case makes a lot of sense....
@@LawFull Thanks Sir. I have a comprehensive car insurance. I will now file a claim.
@@nurjehadmonir9262 Best of luck to you.

@@KamalTiwari82 Sure sounds like they were uninsured. Who knows though. Best of luck with your case.
If the damages to the cars are minimal (bumper and a couple dents), I’m not injured but the other driver is claiming to have hurt his arm (although no ambulance was called, should I get a lawyer or am I ok to go at it without one?
Hi, just report it to your insurance company. You wont need to hire your own attorney. They'll take it from here....
The accident was really bad. And I think she needs to pay or her insurance needs to pay because now I need to get a whole new vehicle.

My dads car was parked outside and someone crashed into it really bad. The car was totalled and when he called his insurance and asked them to help him file a claik against the other persobs insurance they told him that its better if he calls himself. Basically they didnt help him. Does his own insurance have an obligation to help him? I heard its not good to call the other insurance yourself

How about video footage from the store?
