Hearing all of the New Leaf soundtrack gave such a massive nostalgia. I remember staying up late at night hearing all of the night tunes and hearing the early morning songs when I refuse to sleep! Any plans on doing a ranking of the gyroid?
I’m right there with you! As for gyroids, that’s absolutely up my alley, collecting gyroids was my main thing in the OG games. I’ll just have to see if this video does well first as it was a lot of work!
Ik it's not objective at all, that 5pm new leaf theme is soo S tier to me, those bossa nova vibes hit different man 😩. Really enjoyed the nostalgia kicks there, great video ! 😍

I tend to have a bias against guitar sounds so Gamecube and Wild World/City Folk tend to be my favorites in almost every hour. I like and miss the weird, kind of janky instrumentation from GC that you don't ever really see in games made nowadays. I didn't even grow up playing the GC one since I never had a Gamecube but it's still got my favorite soundtrack of all the AC games.
CF hourlys are always the most nostalgic to me despite the fact that I'd probably heard all of those at least once before so I'm extremely biased to CF but hearing some of NL did get me so I can see where you're coming from and while I enjoyed NH only a small handful of the songs were recognizable to me despite putting the most time into it recently. And PG definitely had the most mixed selection so overall I agree with your rankings but I'd put CF higher then NL due to personal biased :)
@@AidenOcelot Yee I getchu, there is something special about how AC does it. I never quite managed to get into Stardew personally, but I see the OST pop up in playlists occasionally.
Oh really? I tested the audio balance on a few things before posting and thought the mixing was alright. And yeah, the video would be over 2 hours if I played the full song, so I kinda tried to pick a notable part of the song so that people that recognise them have a general idea what song it is. Sorry you weren’t a fan!

I wish that more games had music variety. Like stardew music is so, meh after 200 hours of play
