Just now catching up on my UA-cam for the week. Thanks again for another great review. Just an FYI, the pliers sheath was in fact originally made to fit several models of the Klein Lineman pliers, but it just so happens to work pretty well for many other types and brands, as you demonstrated. Not exactly a one size fits all (or even most), but certainly handy for accessing some common favorites while doing panel work, wiring boxes, or other install work. Thanks again!
👍👍
Nice demonstration of a very interesting accessory.
Would be good as an add on, or if you were a person who carried one plier all the time. 👍
@@MORGANSMaintenance I assume that it's exactly for people using pair of pliers as a main tool.
Nice to clip on the side of a bag if you want quick access to a particular pair of pliers. Do the cobras fit in handle first?
180’s No, 150’s yes
Handle first? I’m afraid to ask how you wear pocket knives
@@decline1129blade out, tucked behind the ear
I'm glad you liked it but thank him for sending it to you too. I wish it was tighter on the forged wire strippers your looked like it fit decently at least. Everyone that one man band of a company really deserves all the support we can give him great guy. If you see anything on this website it's worth ordering and trying very attentive. Support a guy that works full time and still does his own business in his spare time. His yt channel has some good stuff too. And yes I say a subscriber for once lol.
He is a great guy. I’ve even had emails from people saying how great his customer service is.
Thanks again Matt. Your support and feedback is much appreciated.
I love makimg tool holders and sheaths out of Kydex! I'm not sure about taking up a space on your belt for ine pair, but it would be cool to add some accessories to it for like a flashlight and a screwdriver or something
@@toolswithtim2019 I would like to create my own stuff, but I’m not sure I have the time to devote to it. It’s awesome that some of you guys can do that 👍👍
That's real nice!! Add a button strap to it and all sized tools will remain in place.
Very true.. good idea 👍
Speaking of pliers - You should get some marvel crosscut pliers. They’re phenomenal and almost a must have in Australia
I will look them up, thanks for the suggestion 👍
Marvel cross cuts fit in that sheath perfectly as good or better than the knipex linemans. Also the engineer cross cuts made in Taiwan fit ok as well.
They do cut well and are more useful than a pair of linemans in my opinion. If they could just change the grip to something less hard plasticity but the texture is nice. Like addicted to tools I changed my grips on my marvels to a dipped knipex type and love them more.
@@MORGANSMaintenance I second that, marvels are my favourite pliers for electrical work. we have mainly stranded cable here though.
@@WillmannElectrical 👍👍
Would like to see one for Knipex Cobra. Great video as always.
I forgot to see if he had one, I know I’ve seen one somewhere, maybe on Amazon.
They seem nice but,I would
Like to see a two or three holder!
He usually reads the comments… so maybe
I’ve thought about getting some Jude’s and giving a go at making my own for my personal setup. Doesn’t seem terribly hard to work with but I really have no clue when it gets to making something good
Paladin jonard and fluke make frp plastic clip on sheaths for network tools but easily could fit many pairs of pliers.
Is it just the way the holster appears in the video or does it appear the grommets/rivets on the this case are out further from the molded part than they need to be making the overall width of the holster bulkier that it necessarily needs to be.
I personally think if the holster was a one piece clam shell design it would be more user friendly. 1 it would eliminate half the width l and 2 the tension could be adjusted to accommodate a the thiner pliers via Chicago screws and a rubber washer could be added to the Chicago screw between the two layers of Kydex, to adjust for narrower width pliers, such as wire strippers. basically design the same as a Kydex magazine holster.
I understand adding a couple Chicago screws will increase the production cost a dollar or so. But I think it would improve the design and make it more appealing for more people to try. In my opinion.
I get what you are saying. He normally reads the comments, maybe he will tell you if it is something he can do or not. 👍
Thanks for the feedback. You're correct that the grommets do add a little bit of extra width with the two piece design. It just happens to be a necessary byproduct of the particular process I use to produce the sheaths more efficiently, though as you said, there are a few advantages of a one piece clams shell. Tensioning screws would be a great feature, and something I should definitely look into some more. Good ideas all around.
Klein Driver/Cutter Combo, w a bit/3 socket holder.
Make it happen, in black, orange or green.
Hell, I'll even settle for a calico / red one.

Your welcome

PS
Make it out of recycled plastics.
I pick up tons of this crap, every year.
👍 Good idea
Thanks for the anti-theft device info.
However, I get it stolen at gunpoint.
Kind of difficult, at that stage in the game.
I got a gun pulled on me again, and threatened last week.
Warning.
Hint hint...
Tattoos and cigarettes...weird chemical smells.
@@VRCM_Skywarn_XUSA that stinks.. we don’t have it that bad in my area yet, but if people don’t start thinking differently it’s all coming to a town near you.
@@MORGANSMaintenance
The city near where I live, is where the problems coming from.
The tools are being sold or traded for cigarettes/drugs and booze.
And the perpetrators are always, covered in tattoos with piercings and weird hair.
Zombies basically with a cigarette hanging out of their mouth.
Crying about daddy/government issues.
He does make a extender that drops it down for thoes tall people and not thoes t Rex armed folk. I know personally I don't like things jabbing me in my side by hanging to high.
