Resembles a baldric frog.. baldric is the over the shoulder belt, the frog is the leather cuff a cutlass, rapier, or other such sword, would slide into. The frog is like a corset, and has laces that can be drawn tight and tied to firmly hold the scabbard. Military scabbards had a tension clip on the back of the locket (the metal band surrounding the top of the scabbard) which would slide through holes punched out on the inside (close to thigh) part of the frog, the tension of the clip then held the scabbard firm in the snug fit of the frog. Looks quite Snappy and Dashing.
Now you know, and as they say, Knowingvis Half The Battle.
As I am descended of no less than two men who served in the Colonial Navy during the Revolution, and later, USN during war of 1812, and held Letters of Marque issued by Congress, I am descended of Pirates, and have snatched a screenshot of your Handyman Jolly Roger to add to my Meme Stash. Needs a roll of duct tape beneath the hammer and pliers; I shall try to add this as tribute to Red Green.
I bid you Adieu, Gentlemen, and wish you fair winds and smooth sailing in your endeavors!

It is also worth knowing I have three Mag Masters I use in my EVS work. One on my belt at all times, another to clip on "at need", and the third I use for finding studs behind drywall. The magnet snatches hard at the screw heads, and will cling to the wall. I mark where that first "!" Is, then slide the magnet down to find at least two more screws, go up past 1st mark to find two more, go left and right 18" or so to rinse/repeat, be absolutely certain I have found those screws and not some other bullshit behind the wall. Highly useful when refinishing kitchens, and new cabinets are being installed, as we can then arrange the cabinets to have as many as possible installed directly to studs.

@@williammartin-howell3565 Funny enough that's why we named it the Jolly Roger... I thought it looked like something that a pirate would wear. 🏴‍☠

How does the rubber grip of a hammer slide in and out. Most sheaths fabric binds up with the rubber of hammers that aren't all wood.

I just bought a badger belt with a sheath for my stiletto tibone and I can barely slide it in or take it back out because rubber grabs the fabric

Would this be-able to hold an 18” pipe wrench or the Milwaukee cheater Pipe wrench?
I spend half my time when changing a borehole pump bending over to pick them up as I’m in the middle of a field and my tools are on the floor

Not sure I want to invest on a tool accessory promoted by someone who does not know the origin of the name given to such device. Let alone wears flip flop sandals to the shop to illustrate how sturdy its by hanging a cinder block while wearing the aforementioned. The validity of the usefulness of the item is also very questionable given that the subject demonstrating the device has no resemblance to a trade worker in appearance or mannerism.
