My Mom is on Ozempic and has been for 7 months now. She has lost close to 100lbs!! She has been overweight her whole life, and now she is finally taking care of her health at age of 65. She was terrified to start the Ozempic injection in fear of the horrible side effects she read and heard about. Luckily, she has been tolerating it fine with no major side effects. She started on the lowest dose 0.25mg and stayed at that dose for 4 weeks before increasing to 0.50mg, which she is still at now. My advice is to slowly increase the dose (if needed) so you allow your body to properly adjust to the medication and to make sure you can tolerate Ozempic without any harsh side effects! In my opinion, both of you are absolutely gorgeous and have amazing bodies. So many women would kill to look like either of you just saying ❤
Question so my problem is I love to eat. I was never a skinny kid. I was the tallest girl in elementary school. When I had my 3 kids I gained 100 pounds. I cook at home 6 days a week breaksfat, lunch, and dinner. So does ozempic make you stop craving sugar? I'm just scared when I stop ozempic I will gain it all back.
@maceroee Hello! I'm sorry for the late reply. I am not on Ozempic, but my Mom's experience on Ozempic is that she no longer craves sweets like she did before. She also rarely feels hungry anymore, so I think the Ozempic must work as an appetite suppressant. I'm sorry, I wish I could give you a better answer to your question.

I have a friend that was taking ozempic and she was so sick all the time, but she said she switched to the mounjaro and still kept losing weight without the bad side effects 🤷🏼♀️ she’s now lost over 80 lbs

I took Saxenda for a couple of months and once I got to the full dose, I was so unbelievably nauseous and ill, I couldn’t even function. It wasn’t the type of nausea where you throw up or actually feel like you’ll throw up. It was more just this generalized overwhelming feeling of being unwell. Kind of like motion sickness and weakness. But 24/7. Once I stopped taking it, it completely went away. I lost a little bit of weight but it’s because you just have no appetite and feel nothing but emptiness and sickness! My husband did Ozempic for a few weeks and started to experience the same thing so he got off of it too. Not a fan!

I’m on Ozempic and it doesn’t make me nauseous, it suppresses my appetite.
Several friends on Ozempic, they are sick all the time.. one person I know has had to have their gallbladder removed because of it.. anothee friend in particular has only been on it 2 months but her kidneys are messing up to the point they stopped the O, did emergency dialysis.. if her kidneys don’t respond she will be put on perm. Dialysis.. she wasn’t super overweight to stTt with and dr said that was more than likely the case..

You have to power through the nausea. It take 1-3 months to go away. I’ve been on it for over a year. Ask for Zofran and power through!

Hey ladies I’m on Ozempic I’m nauseous 99% if the time
I seriously need the help to lose weight! 😂 I have chronic pain etc so it is hard to exercise a lot and honestly I don’t eat a lot.. I know it will help my pain and other health issues… I’m not Pre diabetic and have perfect blood work so my insurance won’t cover it! 😭 It’s soooo expensive without insurance! I wish I could get it!

I was on semaglutide for months. It was lovely and I had no side effects. I did gain it all back afterwards though 😬 I also only lost 15 or 20 lbs bc I ate through it. I wouldn't be hungry at all but still ate 🤷🏼♀️. ANYWAY! I also wanted to say Brittany F you look extra hot and gorgeous in this episode.

Unacceptable, you have to complain about the wifi and the seat and the light. Why pay an extra 1.5k for a seat thats worse than economy?? At least their seats recline 2inches
I used semaglutide for 9 weeks! Didn’t finish out my 12 weeks because of how sick I was. Deathly some days. I had 7 weeks to lose 15 pounds before my wedding. Obviously a personal decision I didn’t “have” to lol but I’m so glad I did idc idc idc. I’m already such a nauseous person and throw up for any small thing so I’m sure I wasn’t the best candidate but I would do it again to lose the 15 pounds in a short amount of time lol. It’s been about 7 weeks since I stopped taking it and I still have a lower appetite which is nice and weight has stayed off. Now I’m back to exercising (along with dying and barely eating, that came with zerooooo energy so I didn’t workout once) and still eating healthy and small portions so I’m in my toning era since I didn’t have to work so hard to get the weight off. I’m with Brittany, if there’s a cheat code I’m using it 😂
For the nausea to help through most days my doctor did prescribe me zofran and it helped significantly!
