omg this one video covers almost every photography type. those who are complaining about lighting and equipment Mr. Karl is happily shutting their mouth with example videos. love you sir.
4:03 and 4:04 ...thats a little bit "unfair", because you did use the tilt & shift ability from your adapter, to be able to get that depth of field on that pictures. I would probably have to do focus stacking with multiple shots, to get the same result with my best prime lenses - which are unfortunately no tilt & shift lenses.
@@VisualEducationStudio Because not everyone will be able to get the same result...at least not in the same way. You did use the tilt & shift adapter from Hasselblad on the backside from your prime lens to get that depth of field in that pictures at that timemarks (lipsticks on white blocks, lipsticks in red water). Photographers, which doesn´t have a tilt & shift lens can´t reproduce that pictures just with one shot. So i did mentioning a substitute solution for photographers which doesn´t have a tilt & shift lens: focus stacking. It´s not, that i wouldn´t like your videos (i am watching your videos since many years, so i am also a fan from your work)...i am just mentioning, that it wouldn´t be that easy as it is looking like.
Hi Understood, but the video is about what you can do with one light. Although I occasionally use tilt and shift most of the time I use focus stacking which anyone can do and it's a technique I demonstrate on our site many times. If you look at the Lancome lipstick on the black balls on my commercial site and my watch shots at www.karltaylor.com these only use focus stacking not tilt and shift.

Hey Karl, this is another awesome educational content here. Thanks. Wedding Photography is believed to be a pretty complete genre as it embraces different other genres. Was it on purpose that you haven't headed to this niche at some point in your career?
When you mentioned painting with light, it reminds me of my night film photography that I did at a very dark water fountain in Central Park. I was successful by taking multiple shots with different bulb timing from under a minute to maybe over a minute. I used my two Nightryder 900/1000 Lumens bike lights combined with one hand to paint the water fountain on film with different bulb time exposures. I had some good results even an accidental shot when a man entered into shot and right away I told him to get out of the shot in which he did while I was continuing to have shutter opened in the bulb setting. I received the photos back and to my surprise, the man appeared to be a GHOST in my night photography film photo. It made me happy for having a happy accident. I have read that is possible to appear in the shot and then get out of the while camera shutter is still open for the exposure and this is my first photo experiencing it. A few of my photos shows painting of light in the sky by commercial jet airplanes as if they were contrails from the airplane. I was happy with that too.
There's a 65inch Sony Bravia on the wall of reception and a nice projector we use for presentations and photoshop demonstrations. I also let my kids watch movies on it :)
We don't sell tutorials we only have one low monthly price so you can watch all of them in one go if you wanted, although that would probably take 2 months plus we add new ones and live shows every month.

Great sir

Amazing video as always Teacher, can you do a video on Lightroom editing on a Tablet, Ipad/Samsung ?
You have links to the equipments? If you do can you post it thanks
Hi we list all the equipment on each shoot on our site.
@@VisualEducationStudio thanks brother
The link you posted for outdoor photography doesn't have any content mentioning a speed light flash. You only talked about using a reflector.
Even better then as that just uses one light 'the sun' so even less expensive.
The title of the video mentioned a "fill in flash". I was hoping you were going to explain how to use the single flash.
The title of the video is about shoots you can do with one light.

Thanks. I've always just preferred the technical challenges of products or fashion/beauty.
Thank you for the inspiration sir. I would like to meet you someday.
Maybe one day!

Happy accidents are always the best.
My wife would kill me if tried the liquid balloon photography in the house.
Just add an 80inch TV and I could live in your studio.

All you need is a camera...... CHECK
A Speedlight..... CHECK
and a Fishtank..... dang it.
Ha ha
