Wake Up India - The Maddening Saga of a High Performance Culture

Why does someone have to die for us to wake up to the reality that something wrong is going on in the world? Without a gut-wrenching incident hitting the headlines, it’s almost as if we’re blind to each-other’s plight!
It’s maddening to see the youth losing themselves in proving their worth. Why have we normalised, or rather glorified mass exhaustion and burnout?
Survival mode is not the way to live. Is it? There’s no end to the habit of people-pleasing is there?
We cannot change the madness around us, but if we’re fortunate enough to be able to choose, let’s make better choices. Let’s be empathetic. Let’s judge less and connect more. Let’s value real output, not the hustle itself. Let’s learn to work intelligently.
