one thing about card placement: I feel like niche tier needs if not it's own tiers then at least highlighting of the best cards. let's take for example slay niche cards: Brotherhood Sanctuary is a staple, while Serpentine Stalker barely sees play.
@zest532 Honestly, the niche tier doesn't really mean C tier. It could easily be its own table altogether. After saying it in the video, I feel like at the end of this series having a live stream where I get live input from you guys and we swap stuff around could be really fun, cause again, I'm no expert on a lot of these cards. I'd probably be better at explaining all the cards from a lore perspective, haha.
Well, at least the closing of legends brought me to your channel. You made some great legends videos here, I'll be watching them all. I just can't escape a feeling of immense sadness in the loss of this great game.
I've only just started watching, but something I asked for last episode was factoring in whether or not you would add 3 copies in a deck. So far, there are no issues, but I think the Aundae Clan Sorcerer is a perfect example. While the effect is super powerful, and the Stat line is good for the cost, it has an effect that doesn't really play into an aggressive playstyle but a Stat line that does. So it's usually a 1 of or 2 of rather than a 3 of IMHO because it's used in midrange mostly. So I agree with the A placement, but I think with such an interesting card that has so much detail baked in, you could spend a little more time talking about the more complex cards. Especially if they are B tier, A tier, or S tier.
In my experience, best use of Blackmarch Prodigy is to be consumed to create a 9/9 Pact Outcast with Charge. He's okayish if he goes off with Charge himself, but either way you only get to use your 5/5 next turn, or after, if he didn't have Charge but somehow survived.
Definitely has the potential to be good, I just think Veteran isn't all that powerful. For instance, I just Lightning Bolted a prodigy earlier yesterday haha.
Perfect thing to take a break from editing my video. Still on Agility but I got everything recorded, can't wait to see how our lists compare in the end 😁
Ha ha you forgot to factor in an important element on the Skeleton cards….the sounds they make! I laughed out loud at your reaction to Arise. It makes a wonderful sound. Skellies cpuld probably all go in niche really. Playing skeletons in friendly matches is really fun with the sounds they make.
s - 22 a - 29 b - 66 c - 53 d - 23 f - 3 ruin shambler is the main star in consume decks, where he can do insane things. I highly recommend you to build and play a consume telvanni deck, it's very fun. also, I didn't even notice the 4-hour length, watched it in one breath :)
If you're looking for a deck to play in TESL, I'm having a lot of fun with Dagoth's Might (premade collection). No modifications. Performs surprisingly well
I can't accept your placement of Bone Colossus. That card is A tier. It's definitely not S but saying that it's C tier because it's weak to Piercing Javelin is a pretty poor explanation, because every big creature is weak to Piercing Javelin, especially Bloodline Outcast which is nowhere near as good as you think it is. Bone Colossus gives you the 5/5 body and then generates a full lane of skeletons that become 2/2s with the buff from Bone Colossus. For 7 mana, you're generating 11/11 worth of stats on the board when played into an empty lane. I run it in pretty much any midrange type deck that runs purple and it always forces the opponent to do something about it, which sometimes they can't because they've spent their removal and defenses dealing with your other big scary threats that you would be playing in a midrange archetype like Bleakcoast Trolls or Young Mammoths. Regarding Bloodline Outcast, Night Shadow has an identical function but you can play it on turn 6 or turn 5 with the ring and the Drain is non-conditional and it has Breakthrough, opening combos for decks that run Unstoppable Rage or Squish the Wimpy. Neither of them have immediate board impact but a Night Shadow is much scarier than a Bloodline Outcast in my opinion.
That's totally fair, I guess I've always seen Bone Colossus as something I'd only run in tribal skeletons, but I can see the value. I also just like Outcast, I think the effect is fun, but I understand what you mean. I prefer Night Shadow to it for certain.
@@theemerdareloth I'd be totally interested in experimenting with a deck that gets benefits from creatures dying running things like Aundae Clan Sorcerer, Disciple of Namira and Bloodline Outcast. But knowing Endurance it'd probably just get run over by aggro
@@theemerdareloth So I've gone ahead and created a deck like I said. Give it a try and if it gives you any success you could make a video on it. If you want to quote me in your video my username on Legends is Aegis+. Deck code: SPACchgVAGeyysjknNgBfWAMyGyklpblwZhUmZkrcxbDakxb Edit: I swapped out the Restless Templars for Emperor's Blades. I'm also aware that this deck doesn't have Grim Champion in it simply because I couldn't find the space for it and Cygnus Standard-Bearer just has too much synergy with the deck's game plan to not take it as a 3 of. If you really want to take Grim Champion I would cut down the Emperor's Blades and Cygnus Standard-Bearers to 2 ofs and throw in 2 Grim Champions.
mummify in my op need buff of cost drop from 3 to 2, then it be S, generally atk better then hp, it means you on offensive an you control board state, windkeep spellsword is 1of the 14 cards that can trade with mournhold traitor for same cost so it great
A lot of these cards I was unsure of where to place, more so than the Agility ones I think, so if you'd like to yell at me, feel free :)

I can't wait to watch this video over the next couple days. Thank you for all the amazing content you produce!
Much appreciated as always 👍

I’m excited for your intelligence rankings. Good video thanks

@@theemerdareloth yeah, veteran just doesn't have that much going for itself in general. A pity(
I love Knight of Order in agro decks, its a benefit getting rid of a enemy lane of guards or annoying statlines to finish a game

The editing is always the roughest part :D
I haven't yet watched this video, but I wanted to say it is great that you are making content on this great game 👍
Thank you!

Could almost be worth adding a "fun, not good" tier for stuff like Caius Cosades (it breaks my heart seeing my boy in D tier but I understand why)
Yeah, honestly, I love a lot of the goofy cards. Caius is a good inclusion just to have a fun card in some of your endurance decks.
Spider lair is a favourite of mine, sad how low it is in the list but again not the most practical card

It's Morrowind themed too
