This is my number one fragrance! I only had one person ever compliment me on this fragrance. When I first smelled it, I couldn’t understand the hype. I also know exactly what you mean by bubble bath - it’s the soapy clean sweetness up close lol.
This works amazingly well in the heat. I really luv it. I know what you mean by 'bubblebath' but in the air it feels much different and after long dry down is a very comforting smell.
ATH, speaking of Rose/Oud can you review Guerlain’s Santal Royal. I find it very complex, and long lasting with high quality ingredients. I’d love to hear your thoughts on it. 🤙🏾
Lyric is one of my favorites, but you’re right about it being an acquired taste, and definitely not for everyone. It’s one that the more you wear it and smell it the more it grows on you. Imitation Man is another unique Rose scent they from the house (Rose, Citron, Orris), and as usual with Amouage once you spray it on, it’s there until you scrub it off lol. What I like about Amouage is they have so many creations that are each so unique, that you’ll find some, or a lot that you can’t stand. But then you eventually find one that speaks to you, and when it does it REALLY speaks to you. The house in general because of this, really makes you think outside the box in what you look for in a fragrance I find.
@@uriah777 Both are amazing, Lyric is like having a fresh cut rose in front of you. You can even smell the “stem” and leaves from galbanum giving it a green aspect to it.

It’s the Blue note that makes me love this one so much. I have many, many rose fragrances so I’m always hunting for a twist. I love this Uber fresh out the bath rose. It’s very cool to me 😊
The freshness is the lime offsetting the heavy rose. This is a great night out fragrance, especially in hotter climates. At first I wasn’t sure, but try it on for a night and see if your opinion changes.

You pegged the description of what my thoughts were of this one. Being that I personally don't wear Rose, this one peaked my interest. I still wouldn't wear it, but I appreciated how Smoot it was. I was expecting a dry, sharp & abrasive potpourri Rose assault. This is one I can appreciate on someone else; from a small distance. The soapiness made it safe for me (to an extent).
I just got this, I had some of the original Lyric Man and was running low. On initial application I was disappointed but it does get better. Not as good as the original, but still quite good. Also, I paid $130 USD for 100 mL which isn't a bad price.
The notes are quite important to get a picture. If it says "oud" for example, I don´t (need to) know whether it contains oud. But what I do know is that it contains something that the company thinks smells like oud to most people. And that I can use to get a sense of the fragrance.
Great, honest review 👍👍 everyone has their preferences, fragrances are a subjective art form, it wouldn't be interesting if we all like the same scents :) looking forward to the next video
Hi Aaron! I was just watching a video about making perfumes. Since you are really into the "teaching the viewer", would/could you share a list of raw materials and reliable places to buy from, based on your knowledge? (for beginners and beyond) Or even, some day, make a video about it. Share some of your train of thought (not used recipes), so that we can see a beginning to end (with the support of some company, possibly). Better even, a patreon? I think the notes help you form a picture. And the more experience you gain, the clearer the picture becomes. If it says "oud, coffee, sandalwood, vanilla, patchouli... etc" then you might expect a certain smoothness and chocolate-vibe for example. And you might learn that vetiver can add a cleanness etc...

I love how you dismantle the composition of the fragrances. Can you do reviews on popular female fragrances? Can you review Fragrances Du Bois - Oud Jeune & Santal complet? 💜✨🌸
You nailed it perfectly when you compared it to bubble Bath! I don’t know why, or what ingredients were used to create it like you do, but that’s exactly what I thought when I sampled it a few months ago. Well actually, it reminds me of washing up liquid, I found it very unpalatable and harsh . Amouage are naturally quite polarising anyway, I love Reflection & Jubilation but can’t stand Lyric, Dia Man or Beloved.

From the POV of a consumer, the note listing is not the most helpful as I have fragrances with near identical note listings, but they practically smell very different. There are certain notes that I know that I like (and dislike), so if I see them in the listing it can be helpful to decide if I have an interest, but they aren't very informative. I have to smell it, the end.
i tried this after hearing all the ravers raving about it. Tried it in heathrow airport, walked around for ages wanting to like it. And Aaron nails it. Absolutely not for me.

Could you please review amouage memoir :)
It's funny I felt the exact same way first smelled lyric man I really didn't like it... then I wore it when it was hot outside. If You give it a little bit of time to dry down with some heat it turns into something incredible and Highly complimented. This was before the reformulation. The new version isn't quite the same to me
What's the difference between the formulations?
@@vincenthusvh it’s the same lol
I Like that how you pronounce it OMAGE
That's for the info on the reform'.
If anyone perceives a difference in the new batches, drop a comment.
I hated it at first but my son got into it and I kept catching wafts of it. Not it's one of my favor though I don't reach for it
please review Memoir Man from Amouage!
Women love this fragrance more than men but overall its beautiful. My advice just control the sprays and you will enjoy.
how about a shot from Givenchy trouble-fete?
From the POV of a consumer, the note listing is not the most helpful as I have fragrances with near identical note listings, but they practically smell very different. There are certain notes that I know that I like (and dislike), so if I see them in the listing it can be helpful to decide if I have an interest, but they aren't very informative. I have to smell it, the end.
I love Lyric man ❤❤❤
i tried this after hearing all the ravers raving about it. Tried it in heathrow airport, walked around for ages wanting to like it. And Aaron nails it. Absolutely not for me.
As a masculine leaning male I prefer many of Amouage female targeted fragrances.
Awesome video
I died at the pause of bubble bath😂
Bubble bath . Period .
But....very ,very beautiful.
Love it.
