There are a decent amount of fragrance reviewers that just say "It smells so good, it's very masculine and sweet!" But can't actually describe anything. Then there are a decent amount of reviewers who have a gifted nose, but to the best of my knowledge Aaron is the only one who gets into the details and science.
A woman in a department store recently complimented me like 4 times. She was like “ I just smelled you when you walked in, and I just wanna follow that scent”. Smells like a German bakery ( maybe apple strudel) Mixed with Oriental spices, and layered brilliantly!
It has the Kulfi note which is a traditional Indian handmade icecream. I am from India and trust me when I say this, Maestro Sonia Constant has nailed the kulfi smell in this one. One of my most favorite frags of all time :)
This is a great intoxicating fragrance. In my opinion why I think people say it doesn't last long it's because they become nose blind to it, but people around you can smell it perfectly fine, I've had that experience when I really couldn't smell it but other people could.

You are right. To me the smell is great but the longlivety is a real drama. I do not understand why they “repair” that failure. They still would become millionair.. Such a shame to such a great odor.

You are right! Amber is fossilized tree resin, made up of labdanes ( a type of diterpene). They have no smell, due to their large molecule structure (way bigger than those heavy musks). Fun fact they are called labdanes because they were first found in Labdanum (rock rose)! And if I am correct, Labdanum is used quite a bit in some Amber accords? Just thought that was interesting. When I first got into fragrances I hated dark scents but the more you dive deep into frags you find out Dark is more complex and beautiful this stuff is amazing
Just got this, TV, and Noire and I realized I am a huge Tom Ford fan. Exactly what I look for in a fragrance. They all smell mysterious and dark yet professional. Noire is totally different from Extreme because NE has that super divulgent dark fruit sweetness that Noire doesn't have. It really is spot on with what it brands itself as.

I’ve actually found my TF noir and TF vetiver lasts longer than my more expensive initio side affect and my parfum de marly Herod. But my baccarat rouge 540 outlasts all of them. Always love your content Aaron. 👊🏽🏴🇬🇧

I actually picked up a decant based off of your previous review.. and consequently, a bottle. This has been one of my go-to perfumes all throughout 2020-2021 day or night. Uplifting to the spirit with that right touch of mystery to make it alluring as well. Dense in its presence but light to the senses. Intimate and cozy but not necessarily carnal. It's such a pleasure and warm embrace of a fragrance to wear. Many blessings and thanks for the recommendation.
This is another gorgeous option for Dates, as it really represents Tom Ford, the handsome gentleman this is exactly what you get with Noir Extreme. it's not very strong, for me personally I'd prefer it to be stronger like Tobacco Vanille, but that's really my only complaint with it. for Bars or Clubbing you go with Tobacco Vanille or Ombre Leather, and for Dates you can go with this as this would be perfect for cuddling, it's just a lot more subtle and pleasant for more intimidate situations. For that it even beats out La Nuit de L'Homme imo.
I’ve just got some, Jesus it’s strong. I have to be careful the amount sprayed on. I love the different notes coming out as it dries. I’m no fragrance expert, but it does slightly resemble Spicebomb.

Arron definitely helps educate my nose as a collector . I love this fragrance . I thought this one was going to be discontinued when the Parfum was released. I’m so glad it’s still around being that I love it more than anything I’ve had from the private blends . I agree totally worth what you pay and this is Tom Ford at his best !
I wish we could get a stronger longer lasting version of this.. I’m looking forward to cooler weather so I can bust this out again. Even tho it’s not in the private line it might be one of the best scents ever released by his brand… it’s absolutely a warm hug from your grandmother in a bottle.

At first I was like "Wait, didn't Aaron reviewed this before?", turns out it's a revisit and that polished 50ml square bottle now looks sexy on your hand haha. I'm glad your opinion stays the same as before and it still remains a love for you. I think-designer wise-Noir Extreme is toe-to-toe with Dior Homme Intense in making the best scent for an man in formal all black.
I have an 100ml of this fragrance. The first Tom Ford I ever bought (after sampling of course). Sadly, during sampling I never noticed how poor the projection was on this fragrance for me. I'm really disappointed with that! Thankfully it is a beautiful skin scent and lasts there for about 8 hours. I absolutely love how it smells, but my personal favourite Tom Ford is either Beau De Jour (former private blend, now signature) and Oud Wood. If you haven't tried Beau De Jour I highly recommend trying a sample of it for review. It's really incredible! A modern take on a classic aromatic fougére "barbershop" kind of scent. Really, really powerful stuff too! If you think Noir Extreme is radiant, you haven't seen just how nuclear BdJ is. Fills a room with 2 sprays, no joke! I also recently got a chance to try one of your fragrances and would say from the one I've tried, you're quickly overtaking Tom Ford to be my favourite perfume brand! I really need to get my nose on more of your scents in the future.

Did you try Noir pour Femme? That's the women's version of Noir Extreme. I haven't smelled it yet (would like to try it as an idea for my Mum or sister's birthday/Christmas presents). Apparently it's very similar but slightly more floral!

It is true about performance and longevity, however take into account that each person has an individual body chemistry at different times. Also the seasons and the climate also play a role A perfume in warmer places may bring out certain notes while in colder places it may smell different and project different.

Parfum is new and hold price 230 euro for 100 ml and 143 for 50 ml. EDP it must have to be good 😂. if I gonna miss leather, I will mix it with ombre leather, If i miss oud will mix IT with atkinsons mayesty oud or MFK oud. Your creation DADDY blows it out of the water, you sent a 2ml freebie with your oud that I still have , I've used it a couple of times and the opening is literally like a maple&pecan pastry yet the drydown is actually quite sublime, I personally don't think there's a fragrance house anywhere that gives the real experience in what you create for the price you sell it for, I've recently discovered carved oud by Thameen on the best alternatives to tom ford oud wood, its much cheaper yet people are saying its oud wood on steroids, it apparently uses south Indian oud , slightly animalic , but it apparently leaves oud wood behind, would you please review it as I like oud wood .

Think the name is a bit misleading on this. I was expecting something more intoxicating and sexy really, but it's definitely a soft, white floral/ musky scent very reminiscent of ice cream. 2 days in I'm liking it, but i still feel the name doesn't match the scent.
As I have the "normal" Noir I was not sure if extreme was needed in my life. Though I never smelled "extreme" after this review I will run off to the next perfumery! Thanks as always Aaron, banger review!
I have a junk of real treeamber, not the fossile stone, that dosen't have a smell, but a junk of cristalised resin my mum got from india from the 70ies. It still smells realy strong and keeps making new cristals. A fragrance most closly resembling it I have found is Alambar.

Layer with ISO E Super. Apply ISO first then top it off with the Cologne

Wait, so AMBER isn't really extracted from real amber and is an accord?
Yes 99% of fragrances out use an Amber accord. Not real Amber

Wonder how it compares to Spicebomb Extreme?
It's softer without all the cinnamon of SB Extreme, it's more round and sweeter, both are excellent but Noir Extreme has more depth for me.
I love SE, but for me this is even better.
TF Noire Extreme smells more high class, you could put it in a Kilian bottle and sell it as niche 😎

Recently smelled this in store for the first time. Wanted to be blown away... But all I could smell was Spicebomb Extreme🙃

Your creation DADDY blows it out of the water, you sent a 2ml freebie with your oud that I still have , I've used it a couple of times and the opening is literally like a maple&pecan pastry yet the drydown is actually quite sublime, I personally don't think there's a fragrance house anywhere that gives the real experience in what you create for the price you sell it for, I've recently discovered carved oud by Thameen on the best alternatives to tom ford oud wood, its much cheaper yet people are saying its oud wood on steroids, it apparently uses south Indian oud , slightly animalic , but it apparently leaves oud wood behind, would you please review it as I like oud wood .
Daddy is the Daddy of all fragrance, Super strong, Sexy and long lasting. :)

The MDMA/Saffrole comment reminded me of something I read once called "The Essential Amphetamines".
It didn't mean "The ones you MUST have", but rather Phenethylamines manufactured from natural essential oils.
This was probably gonna be my next buy; found 100ml for ¥20,000 which is about £118 currently, but the performance comments are putting me off…

Think the name is a bit misleading on this. I was expecting something more intoxicating and sexy really, but it's definitely a soft, white floral/ musky scent very reminiscent of ice cream. 2 days in I'm liking it, but i still feel the name doesn't match the scent.

I don’t understand the language you are speaking and the adjectives you are describing however you are Making me very calm and peaceful
I have a junk of real treeamber, not the fossile stone, that dosen't have a smell, but a junk of cristalised resin my mum got from india from the 70ies. It still smells realy strong and keeps making new cristals. A fragrance most closly resembling it I have found is Alambar.
I believe this is about the most favorable review I've seen you give for a Tom Ford product!
