My dog does exactly that immediately after the bath while he’s still damp.
So, now I have started closing the door and wrapping him in a towel for an hour after his bath.
Doesn’t need sound - it’s perfect.

Our late GSD hated being bathed or showered. She would make a detour of ¼ of a mile rather than walk thru a puddle & would "hold herself" all night rather than go for a last pee before bedtime if it was raining !!!
My puppy Edwin would go outside under the eves and then pee on the house then rush back in and wait for the towel dry.
No sound. Yet it was funny !
A stray dog mom that comes inside our home, usually lies down like this guy and never gets up to go outside while we push it out like the owner here does 😂. She's so sweet btw

I hate when my dog did that. He would give me hell in the kiddie pool trying to bathe him. Then as soon as we dried him off, and gave him a treat… he would roll around in the grass and look directly at me, with that look like whatcha gonna do about it. 😂

Not only a good boy letting mama give him a bath but my mom's family had a German Shepherd named Strider, he was a very good boy. In fact when my oldest nephew was a baby I got him a German Shepherd that his parents decided to call Strider in honor or him.

Yep. The obligatory after-bath roll. My dogs always jumped up on the bed and rolled with great gusto and grunting then did zoomies all over the house and finished by rolling in the yard. 😂😂
