Did you ever make an I coming home movie Montage update to d/l? Really nice setup by the way we just built a house and I'm working on my movie room now and I'm finding all kinds of goodies out there!
An updated version has been slowly in the works for some time. However real life has gotten in the way. It's on the list of things to do but there is no current timeline as to when it may be complete.
Wow ...Amazing Home Theater! I use Kodi also but don't have it setup to play custom trailers and movie commercials. Is there any chance of you showing your subscribers how to implement all those pre movie setup to play those commercials and custom cinema banners to display your name as the cinema? Would greatly appreciate any help you could give!
The Kodi add-on is CinemaVision. I may be able to create a tutorial on how to use it. Will have to see if I can find good screen capture software. There is a good thread on the Kodi forum about CV and it's continued, though sometimes bumpy, development.

This may seem like a silly question but how do you get your Harmony to control your HTPC, how do you right click to activate the Cinemavision?
+Michael Hatton You need an IR USB receiver to connect to your HTPC. Then in the Harmony set-up you add 2 devices for Microsoft MCE and Microsoft Media Player. Search Google as there are a few tutorials on how to get everything set-up. Then you just program the Harmony to control everything you need by sending keyboard keystrokes to the HTPC. It works very well.

Also, re-reading your question(s) to get CinemaVision to play there is a button built into the custom Kodi skin. You have the option of just playing the movie or playing with CinemaVision. Hopefully the next release of CinemaVision will allow for some more customizing or sequences based on tags in the nfo or filename of the movie to make it even more unique!

I'm more impressed by that "coming home" montage. You put it together yourself? Is it publicly available anywhere?! wouldn't mind the same thing in front of my CinemaVision!

+vfastdriver It's a custom video made for this theater using movie clips and parts from another similar video found elsewhere on UA-cam. It's a placeholder for now used as a proof of concept. A much better version is being worked on.

This is Really nice! What did you use to make the "Coming Attractions from Clanhold Cinema" intro and the other intros?
Those intro (and there are 5-6 for each segment including additional 3D options) are made with Adobe AfterEffects templates found for free on the internet. Most are easy to edit with your own text/logos and then rendered. After that they are imported into Adobe Premiere and sound is added. We will upload a few examples to this channel.

Nice theater! But almost 20 minutes from the time you selected a movie to actually play of it. I hope this is not every time.
+Ernesto Morin The program we run is a add on to Kodi called cinema experience, the program is very easy to customize. We tend to get a little carried away, using every script to do trailers in theaters, trailers for movies in our library, the courtesy phone clips, and the cartoon etc all separated by custom bumpers; we can be silly like that. We find it's just like the theater, you go in, sit down, watch a bunch of ads and previews and forget what you queued up to watch. There's good news though, the program is very flexible so you can put in what you prefer, and leave out what you don't like. You can also just click on the play button seen at the 2:40 to just play the movie, but where's the fun in that? We can't recommend these two programs enough.
