If you guys dont like melee skills like LS or Frostblade, Splitting steel is really really solid too and it's faster for clearing. Also, you can use energy blade for more damage and attack speed for leveling if you dont have enough energy shield to profit from ephemeral edge or if you want to attack faster. Also for more attack speed, spell suppression and movement speed for cheap, you can get a massive thread of hope on the socket above raider. You can get sleight of hand, forces of nature, aspect of the linx, weapon atristry, quickstep, harrier and leadership. That's around 30% easy attack speed.
If you want to play tanky flicker strike for map clear, I'm running basically the same setup but for flicker strike. I'm using Aegis Aurora, Iron Reflexes, and might try to get a perfect Darkness Enthroned with 50% avoid shock abyss jewel (ideally with flat lightning added) and Stormshroud to get ailment immune. Can get up to like 90k armour with your gear so you recover like 1800ES on block. Tribal Fury anoint on the Voice of the Storm for clear. Ephemeral Edge is great this league.
@@dantetaranto4434 20% quality flicker strike and Disciple of Slaughter is enough for clear. Sword mastery/mark mastery are generally enough for map bosses or soul eater bosses. That gives 43% chance to generate a charge per hit on uniques but you have multistrike which hits 3 times (4 times if awakened). If you get unlucky you can use frenzy of onslaught to generate charges as melee.
For people wonder budget version. On SC Trade I made it to 7.4k ES using 7-8 Div. I slammed Screaming Woe (around 1 Div) on gear till I hit a % ES prefix. I bought Voice of the storm for 4 Div. I bought a belt with % max ES implicit for 3c. I bought Ephemeral (non RT) for 40c and took accuracy nodes (have 97% accuracy) I bought 1 cluster jewel for 1 Div (could have been 30c but I bought a level 50-67 jewel to make rolling the mods easier). Im using Feed, Fuel, and Heavy Hitter. I only have 2 of the 3 on a jewel and have it socketed till I farm some more Red Juice for attack rolling. But it feels fine I bought level 85/86 bases for around 65c (35 of that was for a 6 link). I bought a lethal pride with 2 - 1 rage on hit nodes for 60c (normally 1 div) I bought Shav Ring for 20c I bought 3 - 3 stat jewels with % Es and 2 other useful stats for 5-15c each I bought Enlightened Level 2 for 80c and the rest of the gems I leveled myself (currently rocking lvl 18 0 qual gems) All in all 8 or so Div for a budget version isnt bad. I can do T16 comfortably. Havent done bossing yet as still trying to roll better flasks and finish my cluster setup but otherwise its been a fun build to play. Im sure I can get better gear and need better gear for some content but honestly pretty fun build even on a couple div worth of gear.
I'm in the same boat but I went ahead and spent around 3 div buying ephemeral edges and corrupting them myself until I got RT. I'm also going flicker instead of LS. Just hit 8k es and still hunting for a good lethal pride probably will end up spending 3-5 div on that then farming a energy shield light of meaning so I don't have to spend 40+ div on one.

I did the high budget but leveling i bridged passive to the evasion becomes armour node at the bottom. Have 17k armour at 72 before flasks. I was afraid of takeing full dmg for those 10% hits. Worked great. Dunno yet if ill unroll it. Idea of having 45k armour 25k es sounds crazy to me. Ill likely try both.
I actually recently started a Spectral Wolves build just to work on some achievements in standard. Running Law of the Wilds with the Squire for easily triggering and full support. Doing poison with them. I’m into early endgame, and it feels pretty good.
Because the dps can be different for melee and projectile hits, I recommend duplicating your Lightning Strike skill group and checking both for "Include in Full DPS." For the duplicated one, set it to projectile hits. Now you also have returning projectiles, which depending on how many returns you want to calculate (1 or 2- I do 1 because the projectile from the melee hit or the other strike additional target projectile can miss the mob, so you only get 1 and rarely do you get 2). But the way I do it is with this custom modifier in PoB: 39% more projectile damage. It is derived from: D + D*(1-0.61)*N where N is the number of returns that hit the boss (I use N = 1) and D is some arbitrary projectile damage.
It's cheaper to craft most of this gear anyway. I've been putting it together for ds_lily's version of this build for like a week, and it's been maybe 1/5 to 1/4 the price of already crafted gear.

Crazy build, with double corrupt Reso + AS or Reso + Fortify, the build feels even nicer. Literally invincible. Smoothest PoE experience I've every experienced,.

The only difference is depending on league what skill you are using depending on balance, last league it was splitting steel. This league it can be LS/MS. Before it was blade trap for example. Plenty of Valdo builds used trickster/ephemeral in the past. Its extremely silly to try gatekeep obvious build synergy to one content creator.

Currently running a hybrid version of this with atziri's reflection energy leech/regen. Sitting at 18k ES with nimis in softcore and ya this build is cracked.
easy on budget, you can league start this pretty easily, although, your life will be infinitely easier if you use splitting steel or molten strike for bossing and ls for farming, you just have to switch 2 gems
Its easily playable on a budget. Have played it as a startet, starting with energy blade instead of ephemeral edge. No problems at all. Accuracy solves itself with one 3 point + mastery accuracy cluster and 1 high roll on jewelry+ the 40% global on ephemeral edge. RT is just an upgrade to have 4 additional passive points and 1 suffix open.
Hi Ziz ! I play an ignite Build and i use a cloak of flames both for ignite duration et phys to fire. I was wondering if there was a point where swapping to a good evasion/es armor like this is better for defences at the cost of ignite duration. Thanks i love your content, very helpful
i played ls edge trickster as main character, liked that very much, reached 20k es (with bigger budget could even go for 30k+) and i feel like shavronnes is bait, because u cant use ascendancy node which is huge sustain buff

Noob at SSF here, I started one build last season and my take from it is that it's all very fluid. I got inspired by almost every unique that dropped. You can most definitely start, but I say go with the flow and see where the drops carry you ^^
is there any cheatsheet of DPS and EHP needed to comfortably do bosses? maven, sirus, ubers, etc I always wait a lot to do them because I don't want to die and lose the fragments
No, ehp is a nonsense stat that doesnt really tell you anything, and dps doesnt take into account dps uptime, which makes it extremely hard to translate between skills
4-5 mil for normal bosses. 70k max ele hit 25k max phys hit is fine. Ubers you really want about 8-10 mil uber dps and not many builds can facetank them its more about either dodging or doing enough dps to insta phase em.
They are Searing Exarch/Eater of Worlds enchants you put on by using currency items called Eldritch embers/ichors. They give your helm, chest, boots or gloves two different implicit mods but you may have to use a bunch to get what you want.
Im still using the armor aegis 65/65block aegis version , i mind switch over to the leech/evasion variant. 50mana regen per second sounds such a huge QoL and also strong for tincture uptime. BTW. in the video your still lvl92 , you did alot of changes in the meantime ^^
Envy wolves teansfers to arakaalis fangsuper well for late campaign early map. Spiders bridge the gap but it costs 100c. I just saw it as an investment for any new character i make
I'm confused about all the mentions of build stealing. Ephemeral edge tricksters were really strong in necropolis league and there were quite a few people doing it in hc, but they were doing blade trap and other things rather than ls (mostly). I think this was due to not being able to get enough es to really juice your damage. With the new bases it seems like it was an obvious answer. I ended up doing a version of this build but it was just from copying the 8 million tricksters already doing this prior to peugets build. Now Idk if ziz is saying he created this or something, but it doesn't really sound like peuget created this either (or did he create this a few leagues ago?) What am I missing?
Yeah, using a weapon that scales off ES and then stacking ES isn't really revolutionary. Especially if you're just using the most popular skill of the league, with the most obvious ascendancy.

this build is insane, i did the aegis version on softcore, the tankiest build i ever played while being capable of doing every content and not being zdps, managed to hit 15673 ES at lvl 97, without clusters, just with self crafted gear play while you can cuz that shit gona get nerfed into oblivion next league, they will either kill trickster, or ephemeral edge, for sure
Interesting annoint..as of now I have the 50% increased ele damage annoint w/ level 10 shock ground on my weapon. This seems like it would be better than that combination but I can't find anywhere that says how much more damage shocked ground creates does anybody know?
For anyone wanting to try this build - it actually takes 62 000 blue juice to craft 1 cluster jewel, on average. Red juice takes even more. So take that into account
The Envy/Wolves tech is how levelling a second/third/fourth character should be. Easier for the player and good for GGG because it keeps people coming back in Hardcore and in Softcore when they are bored with their main and can't be bothered with another campaign run. Shame it won't be here next league.

I honestly don't know why CI is used so much, I like having life and shield. Takes you down to 1 life and get chaos immunity, those bleed balls can still kill you, is there a node I can get to be immune to that.

Yea idk, ive always thought build ownership was a weird one, ppl always yelled at others for copying my vaal spark etc back in the day but in path of exile, outside of novel concepts like impending doom its just the obvious way of doing things. As soon as we saw the new bases so many said "edge is insane this league" - i always credit when i follow someone elses content / pobs etc, in this case i was following xais pob and havent seen any of the peugot stuff but he seems like a good dude.
i played this build back in Kalandra league and this was the only character I ever took to level 100 without paid boosts. Back then lucky non-crit Lightning damage was a Lightning mastery, you didn't need Voice of the Storm unique and could use reflected kaladra amulet with massive int and ES. But you didn't had the tincture either so boss damage was kinda bad. I mean i still killed all ubers with it but it was meh at best when it comes to bossing.
I personally prefer Splitting Steel for my mapping version and Molten Strike for bossing with this build but other then that, I've been loving this build a lot. Even lucked out on my Emph Edge Corruption and got one with Fortify Chance and Resolute Technique

@@evildarkeevildark5943 In that case yeah, you are right. GGG buffed everything at a baseline and didnt think that other skills need more love than others. My charged dash is still behind in terms of dmg despite the dmg effectiveness buff.
Playing the armor/aegis version of this build, and it cannot die in most cases. A union of souls T17 valdo's was taking too long, so I went to bed and left my character in map tanking like 20 colossal mobs, and came back rested to my character still sustainjng through it 7 hours later 😅

Resolute technique (implicit on the ephemeral edge, can’t crit but your attacks can’t be evaded) and chaos inoculation (immune to chaos damage but sets your health to 1)
For what? Build that existed since 3.19 (trickster + ephemeral rework)? Using amulet thats been popular in this combo since 3.21 (Voices of the storm rework)? Heyo Ziz, I'm struggling trying to make a filter for dusk blade. Do you have a filter available off of filterblade?
If you are doing a Witch or Templar you can level with brands using these two enchants as well and works very well.

@@moshtradamus3344 to be fair playing trickster with ephemeral edge isnt nothing new since Kalandra league (trickster and ephemeral rework), slapping voices of the storm isnt also nothing new since its rework in Crucible league. The only difference is depending on league what skill you are using depending on balance, last league it was splitting steel. This league it can be LS/MS. Before it was blade trap for example. Plenty of Valdo builds used trickster/ephemeral in the past. Its extremely silly to try gatekeep obvious build synergy to one content creator.
Did Peuget2 credit where he got a not novel build idea that's been played for several leagues? I'm guessing not. All of these guys just iterate small changes to suit their preference and claim originality.

Currently running a hybrid version of this with atziri's reflection energy leech/regen. Sitting at 18k ES with nimis in softcore and ya this build is cracked.
easy on budget, you can league start this pretty easily, although, your life will be infinitely easier if you use splitting steel or molten strike for bossing and ls for farming, you just have to switch 2 gems

Its easily playable on a budget. Have played it as a startet, starting with energy blade instead of ephemeral edge. No problems at all. Accuracy solves itself with one 3 point + mastery accuracy cluster and 1 high roll on jewelry+ the 40% global on ephemeral edge. RT is just an upgrade to have 4 additional passive points and 1 suffix open.

i played ls edge trickster as main character, liked that very much, reached 20k es (with bigger budget could even go for 30k+) and i feel like shavronnes is bait, because u cant use ascendancy node which is huge sustain buff

On day 7 i rerolled ephemereal edge trickster, went about 30 div in, 13k ES, about 15m dual strike dps. Now the gear is worth like 300 div lmao

Noob at SSF here, I started one build last season and my take from it is that it's all very fluid. I got inspired by almost every unique that dropped. You can most definitely start, but I say go with the flow and see where the drops carry you ^^

is there any cheatsheet of DPS and EHP needed to comfortably do bosses? maven, sirus, ubers, etc I always wait a lot to do them because I don't want to die and lose the fragments
No, ehp is a nonsense stat that doesnt really tell you anything, and dps doesnt take into account dps uptime, which makes it extremely hard to translate between skills
4-5 mil for normal bosses. 70k max ele hit 25k max phys hit is fine. Ubers you really want about 8-10 mil uber dps and not many builds can facetank them its more about either dodging or doing enough dps to insta phase em.

They are Searing Exarch/Eater of Worlds enchants you put on by using currency items called Eldritch embers/ichors. They give your helm, chest, boots or gloves two different implicit mods but you may have to use a bunch to get what you want.

Im still using the armor aegis 65/65block aegis version , i mind switch over to the leech/evasion variant. 50mana regen per second sounds such a huge QoL and also strong for tincture uptime.

Envy wolves teansfers to arakaalis fangsuper well for late campaign early map. Spiders bridge the gap but it costs 100c. I just saw it as an investment for any new character i make
I'm confused about all the mentions of build stealing.
Ephemeral edge tricksters were really strong in necropolis league and there were quite a few people doing it in hc, but they were doing blade trap and other things rather than ls (mostly). I think this was due to not being able to get enough es to really juice your damage.
With the new bases it seems like it was an obvious answer. I ended up doing a version of this build but it was just from copying the 8 million tricksters already doing this prior to peugets build.
Now Idk if ziz is saying he created this or something, but it doesn't really sound like peuget created this either (or did he create this a few leagues ago?)

Yeah, using a weapon that scales off ES and then stacking ES isn't really revolutionary. Especially if you're just using the most popular skill of the league, with the most obvious ascendancy.

Ephemeral Edge with high ES. Can play many skills, you can check a famous build site. Everyone and their mother plays it because Trickster is the most broken ascendancy in the game

this build is insane, i did the aegis version on softcore, the tankiest build i ever played while being capable of doing every content and not being zdps, managed to hit 15673 ES at lvl 97, without clusters, just with self crafted gear

Interesting annoint..as of now I have the 50% increased ele damage annoint w/ level 10 shock ground on my weapon. This seems like it would be better than that combination but I can't find anywhere that says how much more damage shocked ground creates does anybody know?
For anyone wanting to try this build - it actually takes 62 000 blue juice to craft 1 cluster jewel, on average. Red juice takes even more. So take that into account

The Envy/Wolves tech is how levelling a second/third/fourth character should be. Easier for the player and good for GGG because it keeps people coming back in Hardcore and in Softcore when they are bored with their main and can't be bothered with another campaign run. Shame it won't be here next league.

I honestly don't know why CI is used so much, I like having life and shield. Takes you down to 1 life and get chaos immunity, those bleed balls can still kill you, is there a node I can get to be immune to that.

Yea idk, ive always thought build ownership was a weird one, ppl always yelled at others for copying my vaal spark etc back in the day but in path of exile, outside of novel concepts like impending doom its just the obvious way of doing things. As soon as we saw the new bases so many said "edge is insane this league" - i always credit when i follow someone elses content / pobs etc, in this case i was following xais pob and havent seen any of the peugot stuff but he seems like a good dude.

i played this build back in Kalandra league and this was the only character I ever took to level 100 without paid boosts.
Back then lucky non-crit Lightning damage was a Lightning mastery, you didn't need Voice of the Storm unique and could use reflected kaladra amulet with massive int and ES.
But you didn't had the tincture either so boss damage was kinda bad. I mean i still killed all ubers with it but it was meh at best when it comes to bossing.

I personally prefer Splitting Steel for my mapping version and Molten Strike for bossing with this build but other then that, I've been loving this build a lot. Even lucked out on my Emph Edge Corruption and got one with Fortify Chance and Resolute Technique

My charged dash is still behind in terms of dmg despite the dmg effectiveness buff.
Playing the armor/aegis version of this build, and it cannot die in most cases. A union of souls T17 valdo's was taking too long, so I went to bed and left my character in map tanking like 20 colossal mobs, and came back rested to my character still sustainjng through it 7 hours later 😅

Resolute technique (implicit on the ephemeral edge, can’t crit but your attacks can’t be evaded) and chaos inoculation (immune to chaos damage but sets your health to 1)
