@@lightxingbloxx I applied to a few felt so lazy while applying (this wasn’t the case during my junior year but happened in senior year) I applied to Harvard but didn’t get the recommendation letter till months after the deadline as the teacher forgot about it. Mostly I applied to close colleges. Like UIC, Loyola, DePaul, Northwestern, north park, Illinois state university, and yeah I think that was it Rejected: Northwestern Illinois state university DePaul Harvard Accepted: Loyola Uic North park Planning to go to: UIC I did not cry cause I would be honest I made my senior year as easy as possible, no hard work. I didn’t want to work hard and go far I wanted to enjoy the time I had in high school as I could. By I didn’t work I mean I dropped the classes that gave me a headache. So I didn’t work hard for it. I didn’t cry for something I didn’t work hard for

I know how your mom felt , to be a parent I also experienced the excited moment that knowing my kid got admitted from the dream college last month , what a feeling , We(all parents) are so proud of having such intelligent kids .

her stats won’t be as helpful since there’s a lot of factors that will be extremely different in ur case; u can get into stanford even if u have completely different stats than her.

Wow congrats on Duke and Stanford it was a wild ride. Although I don't understand when obviously bright kids get rejection from Ivys and cry about it. But got into Duke or UCLA? Most times these very same students end up apply to Graduate, Law and Medical school..Get into several Ivy's.

it is harder to get into a competitive Harvard PhD than the undergrad - acceptance rates around 1 or 2%
