When the camera isn't panning so quickly, this footage looks incredible! Thanks for posting it. Half joking: How are we supposed to know it was the Karma when we can't see the thing?
Yes, narrower FOV lenses aren't as good to use when subjects are closer to the camera and you need to pan. You have to adapt your style of shooting based on the equipment you're using.
None of our cameras have the red lens profile on there because we have software to remove it: www.peauproductions.com/collections/services/products/download-remove-gopro-lens-profile-no-pink-corners Yes we used a ND8 filter in this video.
i live in mission valley nice to see another video shot down here.

Don't blame us you can't see the drone from the camera's POV :) The only thing you can see from this shot is the controller from afar as we descend.
you have these mounts for a gopro5? or was this shot with the gopro4 on the karma? Looks really nice either way
This was shot on a Hero 4. We will have 8.25mm lenses with Hero 5 compatible threading early next month.
awesome can't wait!
This is awesome guys! Good work! If you need anyone to shoot with it for a few weeks to get footage let me know ;)
Great lens. One of the few I didn't see red around the edges. Are there any nd filters for that shot?

Yes we used a ND8 filter in this video.
Thanks! Does it change the entire color spec of the image or just corners?
The profile is most likely covering about 60-80% of the image frame, starting from the edges. We don't know exactly though.
